The atmosphere is simple, ideal for those seeking a place steeped in local history. Their homemade brioches are delicious, but often difficult to find unless you arrive early in the morning.

From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. I would return without hesitation. 🍝🌿✨

02/11/2025: We stayed here for a weekend and didn't have a great experience. The rooms had cobwebs, cockroaches, and even the towels weren't changed. The breakfast was poor, with toast and a couple of cakes. We had lunch at the hotel and found the prices excessive for the facilities and food. The room prices are exorbitant for the amenities offered.

The owners, Benito, his mother, and Carmelo, were all incredibly helpful and kind, accommodating every request, even the most unexpected, making us feel at home. The traditional local dishes were spectacular and of the highest quality, all prepared locally. The property, surrounded by greenery, made our stay truly unique. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for both a quiet evening and a special occasion. The staff is friendly, professional, and always attentive, without ever being intrusive. The menu offers a carefully considered selection of dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with great care. Each course is always balanced in flavor and well-executed, a sign of a kitchen that works with passion and expertise. The pizza is also excellent, well-cooked and made with quality ingredients. The wine list is highly appreciated, well-structured and with interesting options, capable of perfectly accompanying each dish. The desserts are also excellent, carefully presented and flavorful, perfect for ending the meal. The quality-price ratio is more than fair, considering the level of service and cuisine. Moliendo Café is a restaurant I recommend without hesitation and one I always gladly return to. 🍕🍷🍰🍽️
