The place is spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
The dishes are well-prepared, flavorful, and plentiful.
The price of the fixed menu (€40) is fair and in line with the (excellent) quality of the products served.
There is a but: the kitchen organization.
We sat down at 1:00 PM, and the first course arrived at 2:00 PM.
To finish the six-course meal, we waited 4 hours—too long, especially considering the menu wasn't à la carte.
My review is intended as a call for improvement, because the place and the dishes deserve much more than 4 stars.

We also stopped for dinner. The food was excellent, with carefully prepared and original dishes.
Recommended.

14/02/2026: I went with my wife and children, one of whom is celiac and lactose intolerant. He had no problems, no restrictions on his choice of pizza or fries...he ordered everything and was very satisfied!
We also had an exceptional pizza, made with Neapolitan dough! Even the coffee at the table is meticulously prepared: the cup is covered with a special, leak-proof lid that keeps the coffee as hot as if it were being drunk at the counter!
The staff is very courteous and professional. Highly recommended.
08/02/2026: The pizza and the fried food recommended to us were good, but we were a bit crowded at the table even though the place wasn't crowded. I'll definitely be back; one of the best pizzas I've had in Basilicata (Neapolitan dough).

13/01/2026: An absolute guarantee for divinely good food in the Potenza area. Fair prices for the quality ingredients carefully prepared in the kitchen. A concise menu that allows for a wide range of options, from meat to fish, including local and international cheeses. Among the appetizers, the egg with bacon and truffle deserves a special mention and stimulates the hypothalamus beyond belief. Hats off! The wine list is excellent. Chef Misuriello is like a fine wine, he only gets better with age... ad maiora!

It's in a very central location, on the main street. The place is modern, well-lit, and very well-kept. The sound-absorbing panels are a great idea; they're modern and in keeping with the decor.
The very young staff is welcoming, attentive, and professional.
The pizzas are exquisite. The contemporary dough, thin in the center and thick on the crust, is well-leavened, perfectly cooked, and incredibly light. The ingredients are top-quality. I've had a much better pizza than many gourmet pizzerias that are much more renowned...and expensive!
The bill is perfectly in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes.
Highly recommended.

Everything we ate was truly superb, especially the meatballs in tomato sauce, the stuffed zucchini flowers, and the homemade bread.
They welcomed us with a smile, along with our four-legged friends.

16/11/2025: During a short tour of Basilicata, my brother and I stopped in Senise, home of the crusco pepper, and we really liked the Calycanthus restaurant, appreciating the delicious dishes, courtesy and location, it certainly deserves 5 stars.

the best in Potenza.
01/11/2025: We had lunch at La Roulette, and I must say it was truly a pleasure!
The meat was delicious, and the cuisine was excellent. The owner, Michele, was extremely hospitable and professional, as were all the friendly and helpful staff.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

It's the satisfaction that comes from sitting down at the table and asking you how you ate, the best of the best. We're lucky to live several kilometers from the restaurant.

10/03/2026: This is a common take-away pasta place. They prepare pasta in the morning and sell them till evening so nothing wastes. The pasta is tasty, versions are interesting. 1 portion for 1 euro. Its a must visit for low-cost travelers
