17/04/2026: Since I moved to Melfi in 2015, I've been frequenting this restaurant. Over the years, it's only grown in its offerings. In 2021, I celebrated my daughter's first birthday with lunch inside with family and then outside in the evening with friends. I've also attended other personal events and other events...all with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Truly excellent food and a constantly updated menu, a beautiful location, and excellent service. Jeans is a guarantee. Highly recommended.

07/03/2026: We're not used to writing reviews, but we couldn't help but share our experience at Pierfaone, and we hope these lines can help those who, like us, are looking for true professionals to rely on for the success of their event, leaving nothing to chance. MANAGEMENT OF REQUESTS: From the very beginning, we were told to think of this event as something to be adapted to our needs, without being influenced by the "standard" models we'd seen in other contexts. Our wedding was held on December 30th, and for this day, we wanted a winter day, reminiscent of a mountain cabin and allowing our guests to enjoy a welcoming and evocative atmosphere. To create the atmosphere we requested, we worked together, in addition to all the other details, to define a "winter" corner consisting of a relaxation area with a fire pit and a hot drinks corner. PLANNING: Since we live outside the region, the organization had to be conducted almost entirely remotely (only three in-person meetings were enough to finalize the details of our event). From the very first visit, Donato and the entire staff proved to be extremely kind, welcoming, and above all, extremely professional and attentive to every request. The work they did not only involved organizing the meal itself, but also coordinating the arrangements to ensure that the florist, band, and photographer (some of whom were from outside the region) all received the same instructions and respected the timeframe we requested. As a testament to the staff's professionalism, vendors who had never worked with them before confided that they had never encountered such helpfulness, thoughtfulness, and care, both professionally and personally. SERVICE: For us, the service was simply impeccable! We experienced courtesy, attentiveness to all guests, and professionalism from the first moment of the day until closing. Both we, the celebrants, and our guests felt treated with respect and care, a feeling undoubtedly due to the very thorough and meticulous underlying organization. Many of our guests were amazed by how well they felt cared for and treated throughout the day, telling us they had never seen management and service of this level: cleanliness and order throughout, the ability to anticipate guests' needs before they could express them, attentive and well-dressed staff, and precise, elegant yet discreet service. DISHES: Already during the planning phase, Donato asked us about our preferences and the types of dishes we would like served. Based on our suggestions, he developed a series of superior options, including those tailored to food intolerances and preferences. During the menu tasting, we were able to evaluate all the options presented to us, including those tailored to food intolerances and preferences (vegan and vegetarian options). This is when we ran into serious problems: it wasn't easy to choose which dishes would be our favorites, because all the options proved to be truly excellent. Speaking of the final result, we can only say one thing: if, despite the generous portions, the multiple appetizers and entrees, a Novara native—who hails from the land of rice—requests the trio of risottos, the quality of the food was certainly among the best! In short, we believe Pierfaone "ruined" us. We realized, having attended other weddings before and after ours, that unfortunately, when you experience such an extraordinary level of care and quality, it's hard to appreciate other experiences.

20/05/2026: Bad experience, I booked with the "buy 3, pay 2" promotion. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was unable to use the promotion because I didn't have the coupon. The staff was awkward and unresponsive, unable to answer my questions and unable to find a solution. I strongly advise against it.

19/05/2026: Undoubtedly a restaurant worth the detour, with a friendly, warm, attentive team, very pleasant background music and of course PIZZAS that the world should know, not forgetting the little Nutella pizza doughnuts for dessert.

16/05/2026: A very nice and welcoming atmosphere, and the service was excellent. It's more traditional sushi than others I've tried in Quito, which is why I liked it so much. I'll definitely be back and I recommend it.

10/05/2026: At first, I was honestly skeptical about Shibumi Sushi’s unique approach to blending traditional Japanese sushi with an Ecuadorian twist, but after experiencing the omakase, I can confidently say this was one of the most memorable sushi experiences I’ve had outside of Japan. Having lived in Japan myself, I know the level of precision, freshness, and respect authentic sushi requires, and Shibumi absolutely delivers on all of it while still creating something original and exciting. Every dish in the omakase was beautifully presented, thoughtfully explained, and executed with incredible attention to detail. The quality of the fish was phenomenal, and you could truly feel the craftsmanship and passion behind every course. What stood out just as much as the food was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience special, even speaking excellent English and carefully walking me through each dish and its inspiration, which made the experience feel personal and immersive. This is the kind of restaurant that deserves recognition not only from travelers and food enthusiasts, but honestly from the Michelin Guide itself. Shibumi Sushi manages to honor authentic Japanese sushi culture while confidently incorporating Ecuadorian influence in a way that feels respectful, creative, and world class. Absolutely unforgettable.

10/04/2026: On the way back, we stopped at a roadside shop. It turns out the shop doesn't open until 12 o'clock, but the owner, seeing how pitiful we were, opened an hour early so we could eat. It was delicious!

26/04/2026: I haven't been back in a while...you have to book quite a bit in advance, but it's worth it. The price is perhaps average, but not excessive, and the food is truly delicious, and all the ingredients are genuine, from the breakfast dessert to the entire menu. My family and I always stay full board from Saturday afternoon to Sunday, including a siesta after lunch. Excellent service...we've become part of the family...and the scenery is stunning, with its green, natural undergrowth.

26/04/2026: A place to relax and appreciate the Marche region We needed a break from the hectic pace of Roman life, and Agriturismo al Crepuscolo was the perfect solution. The rooms and adjacent common room were very welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. Dinners were also excellent: a full meal with appetizers, first courses, second courses, desserts, and local wine. But the most important aspect of the agriturismo was the atmosphere. The lawn offered a splendid view of the Marche countryside, a hilltop village, and olive groves. The owners made us feel at home; they truly worked hard to make our stay comfortable and special. Now we're ready to return to the frenetic pace of Rome.

It's a charming agriturismo, ideal for any occasion. Perfect for immersing yourself in nature. Family-friendly, children can play in the greenery and enjoy the peace and quiet.

From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. When you come to this bar, you're buying a story, not just a drink or a dish. Definitely worth stopping by!
