I've stayed at many agriturismos in Pollino and Piano Martorino, and it's undoubtedly one of the best, from the sublimely prepared traditional dishes by Mrs. Emilia to the spotlessly clean and well-maintained rooms. This agriturismo is nestled in the wild Pollino, and for those who love tranquility and relaxation, it's the perfect place. I'll be back as soon as possible.

A high-quality culinary experience, perfect for a special evening! The staff was friendly and attentive to the customer's needs. 17/04/2026: Since I moved to Melfi in 2015, I've been frequenting this restaurant. Over the years, it's only grown in its offerings. In 2021, I celebrated my daughter's first birthday with lunch inside with family and then outside in the evening with friends. I've also attended other personal events and other events...all with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Truly excellent food and a constantly updated menu, a beautiful location, and excellent service. Jeans is a guarantee. Highly recommended.

23/03/2026: We went to Avigliano to eat cod at Osteria Gagliardi. It was truly delicious. The dishes, from appetizers to first and second courses, paired beautifully and delicately with this fish. Excellent value for money. The place is small, but very elegant and not crowded. The service was impeccable, fast, and attentive. It's best to book well in advance because it's very popular. We were coming from Bari, so we drove a bit, but it was worth it.

20/05/2026: Bad experience, I booked with the "buy 3, pay 2" promotion. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was unable to use the promotion because I didn't have the coupon. The staff was awkward and unresponsive, unable to answer my questions and unable to find a solution. I strongly advise against it.

19/05/2026: Undoubtedly a restaurant worth the detour, with a friendly, warm, attentive team, very pleasant background music and of course PIZZAS that the world should know, not forgetting the little Nutella pizza doughnuts for dessert.

15/05/2026: Spacious and clean rooms. Excellent service. The staff was always available for any request we made. The food is homemade and of excellent quality. The place is located in the mountains about 20 minutes from Francavilla in Sinni, making it perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. Surrounded by greenery, the property is also very nice. I recommend it.

26/04/2026: A place to relax and appreciate the Marche region We needed a break from the hectic pace of Roman life, and Agriturismo al Crepuscolo was the perfect solution. The rooms and adjacent common room were very welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. Dinners were also excellent: a full meal with appetizers, first courses, second courses, desserts, and local wine. But the most important aspect of the agriturismo was the atmosphere. The lawn offered a splendid view of the Marche countryside, a hilltop village, and olive groves. The owners made us feel at home; they truly worked hard to make our stay comfortable and special. Now we're ready to return to the frenetic pace of Rome.

05/10/2025: If you're after something different from your usual Italian spot, this is it! The food is super authentic and homemade - generous portions, too. The homemade wine and pasta were amazing. We had an awesome time and felt so welcomed!

16/06/2026: A very appealing restaurant with excellent food. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant. Although it's located near a road, the traffic noise is barely noticeable. There's ample parking, the location is convenient, and the landscaping is lovely. As mentioned, the food was delicious. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. Overall, it's highly recommended. My only suggestion for improvement: there's no printed menu available on-site; it can only be accessed via the website, Google, or Google Maps. This means you have to access the menu on your mobile phone to view it. I've seen menus accessed via QR code before (which I personally don't find ideal either), but this was even more cumbersome. We found this less than ideal, especially since it also caused problems loading the page. Without a mobile phone, it would have been impossible to view the menu. Perhaps a chalkboard or a poster would be a good compromise, so that the menu isn't exclusively available through Google. Hence the one-star deduction. ... Otherwise, it's a really nice restaurant with very good food and wine. There's a great selection of dishes, so there's something for everyone.

04/07/2026: Reading the previous reviews, we were encouraged to visit, but our expectations were dashed! The five-course tasting menu, chosen in advance and based on an incomprehensible culinary approach, was a bit lengthy! The best dish was the delicate and palatable tuna tartare! The classic aperitif with a slightly heavy fried meatball, the first courses tasty but full of flavor, the second course uninspiring, and the small pastries were average! The chic mixed venue, the more wild outdoor area, the professional and polite service! Worth a try, not more! It should have been an evening to remember, but it was just average! The price of the dinner was not reasonable!

From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. 07/04/2026: This restaurant is very close to Lagopesole Castle. I spent Easter Monday there with a set menu. The food was excellent, the setting simple, but the staff really made the difference: helpful, friendly, and extremely kind. They were accommodating regarding food, allergies, and arrival times, as we as a group had to wait well past the permitted time. Excellent experience.
