19/09/2025: Cumuniello is a landmark in Genzano di Lucania, with a long tradition. I've been there several times and have always had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is simple, ideal for those seeking a place steeped in local history.
Their homemade brioches are delicious, but often difficult to find unless you arrive early in the morning.

07/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and without a reservation, and were greeted courteously.
The platter of local cured meats was excellent, as were the truly delicious first courses and meats. Finally, the homemade desserts were exquisite. Excellent value for money... We'll be back. Highly recommended.

18/08/2025: The wait was very long, both for ordering and for our food. We asked for more bread and were told they were out of bread. I don't know what pizzeria it is. We read "Nutella pizza" on the menu and were told by one, "No, we don't make that anymore," and another, "Nutella is out of stock," so make up your mind. Covered with a tablecloth and paper napkin, we were charged, and there weren't a single dessert listed on the menu.
18/08/2025: We had a great time, tasty pizza, perfect service, welcoming and peaceful atmosphere.

29/09/2025: We stopped at this little restaurant purely by chance during a motorcycle trip and were very satisfied! Excellent quality and friendly staff. I'd only leave the red wine at room temperature.
We'll definitely be back!
20/09/2025: We went there on a Sunday evening with my family about a month ago. The location was very nice, clean, and mostly run by women. Unfortunately, it was the end of the season and we didn't choose from the menu. Perhaps it was a good thing, because they offered us a tasting of delicious local products. I highly recommend it, even if they make it themselves.

21/02/2026: I've been coming here for years and have always had a great experience, which is precisely why I was so disappointed tonight. I asked for my usual "half and half" pizza and was told it wasn't possible because "when there are people, the kitchen can get confused."
Too bad it was around 7:30 PM and the pizzeria was practically empty (me and a friend plus a table with three other people).
What bothered me even more was that, when I expressed my displeasure, the reaction was one of total indifference, as if nothing had happened.
If you can't handle such a simple request, especially at a quiet time, then there's a problem with your organization and customer service. With all the pizzerias out there, I won't be returning: I'd rather give my money to those who have more respect for their customers.

30/07/2025: Recommended bar on the main street! 😊 The atmosphere is always comfortable: the young, friendly, and very approachable staff makes it easy to chat and feel at ease. In the summer, it becomes even more welcoming ☀️: tables are added along the street depending on how busy it is, so you can always find a free spot to enjoy a drink outside. Recommended for a break with friends or a casual, unpretentious stop!

01/06/2025: Siamo stati per una laurea e sconsiglio il posto. Cameriera scocciata, apatica, mai un sorriso. Quando le si chiedeva qualcosa era sempre scocciata, ti metteva a disagio. Eravamo una lunga tavolata e gli antipasti erano scarni per non parlare dei secondi. Avevano decantato i prodotti a km 0 di loro produzione ed è ridicolo chiederne il bis perché erano misere le porzioni. Avremo pagato anche in più se era questo il problema. Carne dura per non parlare delle patate e verdure , tutto poco. Solo l’agnello era buono. Ad un certo punto hanno spento i riscaldamenti e siamo stati al freddo, eravamo solo noi in sala, abbiamo tagliato la torta con i giubbini perché era freddo fuori e pioveva. Il proprietario si è visto solo al momento del pagamento… mi dispiace ma sconsigliato!
