03/04/2024: I don't comment on the food, because the owner did not at all kindly invite us to go out since we were 20 minutes late (for which we had also apologized) due to problems that should not have interested him: in these cases, one should simply accept the apologies and at most tell us that the kitchen is now closed or that the place is full; (fun fact, the place was completely empty and in fact the owner told us on the phone that never before would we have endless seats). In short, we enter and this guy was already looking askance, making us notice, with the help of a very poor Italian and with the gestures of a country boy that we had, and I quote to paraphrase, "been quite late", so I, feeling unwelcome, told him that, if it had been a problem, we would have left, and he, in Avigliano dialect, gruffly told us that the door was there. Now, one also wants to try to support the local economy, but such rude, pretentious and grumpy people (despite the place being empty), deserve failure. I understand the delay, but education should not be lacking, especially for people who work closely with the public. One thing is for sure, I will never set foot in that place again and I will recommend doing the same to everyone I know and anyone who reads this review.

05/03/2024: We've been to this place often, it's our favorite in the area! Here you can find the true Lucanian flavours, simple, genuine and of the highest quality, everything is homemade, from the bread to the pasta, to the cured meats (from their own breeding, exceptional). Every month, in addition to the classic menu, there is a menu special dedicated to an ingredient such as truffles, donkey, game and so on and every time we have been more than satisfied both with the quality of the raw materials and with the preparation of the dishes. The value for money is amazing! Finally Rocco and his wife are fantastic hosts who pamper you from the starter to the digestives (even the homemade ones).

05/01/2024: Ritorno in questo caratteristico locale dopo tantissimi anni che ha ereditato la gestione da un altra più famosa ed affermata conduzione, anche se di tipologia diversa, confermando le caratteristiche della precedente (gentilezza, affabilità, qualità, ecc,) quindi una buona conferma, direzione ed eredità.

25/02/2024: The appetizers and strascinate are good. The second first was literally forgotten. Then the waiter recommended another dish, ravioli, "so as not to wait too long". Ravioli which turned out to be below average. Disappointing cod all'aviglianese: it had nothing to offer, it was hard, obviously badly cooked and not of high quality. Unfortunately I have to point out that the person who served us was truly unpresentable: jeans and an unraveled sweater, super worn, frayed on the collar and sleeves and holes in the elbows, but above all very dirty. Terrible service. Considering that we sat down on Sunday around 1.10pm and many other people arrived after us, the second course was served only after the first course had been served to the entire room, practically more than an hour after finishing the first course . Average prices. I strongly advise against it.
