Lunch before returning to the hotel after visiting the Arcomagno, without a reservation. We were immediately seated and served quickly. The peppered mussels were truly fresh and excellently cooked, inviting us to dip them in bread at the end. To continue, fresh pasta with shrimp and mussels, abundant with seafood, although the pasta was a bit overcooked, as is often the case in the area. The mixed grill of swordfish, shrimp, and cuttlefish was good. Overall, one of the best restaurants in the area. The desserts were delicious, served by companies from Pizzo Calabro and Maratea.

I ate very well, in a very quiet setting, with a lovely sea view. The staff was polite and respectful, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

We had dinner one evening on vacation last week, with high expectations. We were extremely disappointed; the spaghetti with clams was bland and, in my opinion, there was butter. The dish was disjointed; it had absolutely no seafood flavor. I think it needs to be revisited. The mixed fried fish was excellent, not greasy, and really well done! The desserts were delicious. Good service and a lovely atmosphere. I recommend it, but not for the spaghetti.

Da Cesare is a dream restaurant. The cozze were good. My favourite plate was spaghetti alle vongole!The linguine al nero di seppia was very creamy and I recommend to add some peperoncino.The pasta con le vongole was a massage to my tong and the clams were very fluffy.

It's a historic restaurant in Maratea, seemingly enjoying a loyal clientele and an excellent reputation. It's deserved, I'd say: we, too, tried it the first time for dinner and returned the next evening. Plenty of outdoor space and beautiful sunsets, which you can also enjoy from inside, where it's much cooler! The menu seems to be the same: not a lot of dishes, but the freshness of the fish is guaranteed. We found the sautéed mussels, spaghetti with clams, and mixed grill to be very good, but their signature dish is the linguine with squid ink, truly delicious. All the staff are friendly, smiling, and welcoming, and the service is quick and attentive. The price is average.

We had dinner and the food was delicious. The squid ink risotto was truly special, retaining the authentic flavor of the recipe passed down from my mother. The prices were average, offering excellent value. We'll be back on our next trip to Maratea!
