17/06/2026: Traveling around Lagonegro for work, this was my second visit to this restaurant! First of all, the waiter was truly excellent. He gave advice and made me feel at ease, which is not a given, considering most of the other waiters always seemed to do you a favor. They were very approachable and attentive to everything! Then, the food was delicious. Everything from the menu always arrived impeccably, a feast for the eyes and the palate. Excellent value for money!

15/06/2026: Nice restaurant, the staff is attentive and quickly approaches me to ask if I'd like to eat. Everything is set with white cotton tablecloths, including the napkins. The oil and spices are clean, and the bread is fresh. The seafood salad was very good and not too large. Since I'm traveling by bicycle, I would have liked wine and beer, but I shouldn't consume alcohol. They also have non-alcoholic beer! It's not great, well, it's non-alcoholic, but still better than no beer at all 😜. I also have a plate of carbohydrate-rich pasta. Also delicious. I would go here again.

17/06/2026: The hotel's location is very convenient, as it's close to the highway exit. It's in a quiet, peaceful area, perfect for a post-travel rest. The service is impeccable, with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is excellent, with a good selection of menu items and excellent food. The rooms are clean, not overly large, and furnished in a practical and functional way. Highly recommended.

26/04/2026: I visited this pizzeria with fairly high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways. The pizza was rubbery and unpleasant to eat, a sign of dough that likely wasn't well-worked or cooked properly. To make matters worse, the service: the owner was unfriendly and, to every question, responded in an annoyed manner, creating a less than welcoming atmosphere. I understand that there can be bad days, but when you work in front of the public, a little kindness really makes a difference. I hope they can improve both the quality of the pizza and the customer service.

09/06/2026: I saw videos on Facebook and I thought, I have to go here, the food here must be luxurious. And it was, the food here was really prepared 100% and was delicious. The original idea was to try their goulash, which was only on the winter menu and they didn't have it this summer. But that wasn't a problem at all, because their menu is varied and I didn't know what to choose before. It was a real gastronomic experience here and if I plan a vacation in Basilicata again next year, I will definitely make a trip here for dinner, because it's worth it. I recommend this great restaurant - luxurious food and great staff.

08/07/2026: We had a wonderful meal, an exceptional platter with homemade cheeses, and perfect service!!! Two young people run this restaurant, and they also sell local products. The wine selection is exceptional. We ordered a platter and soups. Authentic flavors of a region they help promote with great love for the ingredients. We'll definitely be back! And then there's the priceless view of the Lucanian Dolomites!

The two brothers who run it are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely talented. You can immediately see that they have an exceptional eye for beauty and quality. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted, with each ingredient carefully selected 👌🏻 Nothing feels random; every element on the plate has its purpose. It was an absolute pleasure to eat here, and you can tell that they cook with both skill and heart. A special mention for the atmosphere as well it perfectly reflects their great taste and attention to detail. And one last tip: don't leave without asking them to show you their drone footage of the surrounding region. It's absolutely breathtaking and made us appreciate the beauty of the area even more. 07/07/2026: A historic local venue, easy to get to, modern, and with plenty of space, including outdoor and poolside. Fridays are also open for dancing; if you can find a spot, reservations are a must. Good food featuring all the local specialties, especially meat, but also excellent pizza.

13/06/2026: A decidedly negative experience. As soon as we arrived, we noticed the menu stated "Full menu €37 per person." I was interested in the full menu, while my wife wanted only an appetizer and a first course. However, we were informed that this wasn't possible because, since there were two of us, we would both have to order the full menu. Unfortunately, the menu didn't mention this restriction. Consequently, we were forced to choose other courses. After the appetizers, my first course arrived, but it wasn't the one I'd ordered. After reporting the error, the dish was returned and replaced with the correct one: strascinate with sausage, porcini mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes, described on the menu as fresh homemade pasta. Unfortunately, the dish turned out to be terrible: the pasta had a strange, moldy taste that made the whole experience truly unpleasant. I immediately reported the problem and reiterated it when I received the bill. The manager's response, presumably the owner, was simply: "Oh, good to know." No apology, no verification, and, above all, no commercial gesture: I was charged in full for the dish despite it being inedible. Between unclear menu information, incorrect orders, questionable food quality, and a complete lack of customer service, my experience was extremely disappointing. I personally do not recommend this restaurant and have no intention of returning. The numerous positive reviews leave me frankly perplexed, as the experience I had fell far short of the standards I expected.

24/06/2026: For years I have been sharing the goodness of the dishes at Mimmo the cyclist, kindness, quality and excellent value for money, he, like Felicetta, the waitress, and all the friendly and professional staff, a Lucanian excellence in catering.

08/06/2026: I had dinner with a large group of friends on June 1, 2026. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful and welcoming place. The Cazzanedda appetizer was excellent, as were the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, the cod ravioli with cream, the vruska, etc. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
