28/09/2025: This is a touristy restaurant. The food is very poor quality and poorly cooked. The owner has little desire to do well. I recommend going elsewhere for authentic local cuisine.

09/10/2025: We had lunch among the Sassi of Matera in a truly unique setting: outdoor tables overlooking a spectacular view. The menu offers traditional dishes, as well as modern twists, such as cacio e pepe with crusco peppers, cooked with great skill and attention to authentic flavors. The orecchiette with turnip tops, fried breadcrumbs, and crusco peppers, as well as the caponata, were delicious. The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, fast, and very helpful, despite the unusual hours (the kitchen is open until 4 pm!). A relaxing lunch made special by the evocative setting and the quality of both the food and the hospitality. Highly recommended for those who want to experience an authentic experience in the heart of Matera.

04/09/2025: One of the best gelatos I remember ever having, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I had it with a brioche, and it was absolutely delicious! If you're passing through, it's a must-stop!

02/09/2025: Hello, I'm thrilled to visit this elegant, renovated, family-run café. When I come to Lagonegro with my family, I love the gelato, which my children adore, as does my husband. New, innovative flavors reflect the creativity of the owner, Mr. Andrea, who is always friendly, personable, and cheerful, like his entire family. We have many cafés in Rome; in Lagonegro, a café in the city center is well-decorated, bright, and pleasant, and also offers excellent breakfasts with a variety of croissants. Excellent service, great atmosphere. 10/10

14/10/2025: A very nice weekend, what can I say? I relaxed in the company of friends. The hosts were very helpful. Excellent value for money, the meals were delicious—everything was fresh and of excellent quality—and the drinks were also excellent. I highly recommend it. I hope to return to that wonderful oasis as soon as possible, immersed in beautiful natural greenery where you can breathe in the healthy air. 20/10/2025: As soon as we entered the gate, we fell in love with the cleanliness and order of the olive groves overlooking Matera. The location is dreamy, a beautiful masseria. Francesco manages everything impeccably, and his staff is an extension of that. What can we say about the table service: seamless, attentive, and fast. The icing on the cake is the food: sophisticated, high-quality combinations, the perfect blend of tradition and innovation, and excellent ingredients. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Auch der Lachs meiner Freundin kam nur mit einem Mini Salat als Beilage. Für zwei Gericht in dieser Preisklasse (50 €) hätten wir etwas mehr erwartet. Schade, denn geschmacklich war es top.“
