02/03/2025: We ate very well in this trattoria in the heart of Matera! The staff was kind and friendly, welcomed us with great availability even without a reservation, immediately finding us a table. They recommended some really special off-menu dishes, which we really appreciated. We started with the appetizer, which I recommend to everyone: a complete tasting of 4 or more proposals, perfect for sharing. Followed by two delicious first courses, including an off-menu dish and the paccheri, which were truly exceptional. To end on a high note, we chose the poker of desserts, a true explosion of flavors that left us speechless. A fantastic experience, congratulations to the owners. We will definitely be back, congratulations on the excellent work!

03/02/2025: Sono tornata a distanza di anni con amici,ed è sempre la mia trattoria preferita! Siamo di Bari e quindi mancavo da parecchio tempo, temevo che avessero cambiato la qualità ma, anzi era tutto squisito! Il locale era pieno ma, il servizio è stato perfetto. Camerieri molto cortesi e attenti per non parlare dei titolari che sono simpaticissimi!…. Si capisce che per loro rendere il cliente soddisfatto è la priorità assoluta! Grazie ☺️ tornerò quanto prima! Super consigliato “QUALITÀ PREZZO” più che onesto!

04/03/2025: Stumbled upon it by chance while looking for a place to hang out on a cold evening. Nice place open compared to others that close early. You can drink a beer in a nice Indian atmosphere. Possibility to get some sandwiches if you get hungry. I recommend some snacks for the tables to the owner as an invitation to drink. In valid context.

26/02/2025: Very authentic pub in the bahnhof. Especially with many locals. A must see. There is a coin operated toilet at the station.

17/11/2024: Siamo stati a cena in questo locale sabato 16 novembre, in occasione di una gita alle cascate di San Fele. Il personale è stato gentilissimo, la pizza eccellente, i prezzi più che onesti. L'atmosfera è calda e accogliente, il locale ben curato. Insomma, se fossimo del posto ci torneremmo tutte le settimane. Lo consiglio fortemente!

28/10/2024: It's always a wonderful confirmation to stop at Torre Vecchia first for the kindness and helpfulness of Mr. Luciano and then to eat something, everything is always very good. This time we also stayed one night in one of the rooms that Mr. Luciano rents. We will definitely be back 😉

04/03/2025: Local 2 steps from the tourist center of Matera and its Sassi. It is a delicatessen that balances takeaway with restaurant service at tables on site. Good assortment of first courses, second courses and side dishes, typical of the area, ready and available on the counter and heated on the spot with the microwave. Very friendly staff, excellent value for money. Advised!
