30/05/2026: Wonderful experience! We tried this restaurant late in the evening (10:15 PM) and found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
The bread and eggplant meatballs and chickpea and pepper croquettes were truly delicious, not to mention the capocollo with arugula and parmesan cheese, a marvel.
The restaurant is housed in a cave, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.
Definitely recommended.

27/04/2026: We were looking for something interesting for lunch in the beautiful city of Matera and stumbled upon this restaurant. It’s carved right into the hillside—exactly that traditional vibe people come here for. The service was absolutely amazing. Huge selection of wines. The menu is nicely tailored to the local cuisine. We really enjoyed everything, from the starter to the main course. The only small downside was a bit of flaking lime from the ceiling paint, but that’s probably pretty common in this type of space.

23/04/2026: It was the only place open at night, yet we have been greeted politely by the owners, received excellent service to be seated in the room across the path. Any item we ordered was served pretty quickly and we didn't expect how good it was. Pizza was really delicious, think crust. Fresh ingredients, lovely mozzarella. Thumbs up 👍👍

I've stayed at many agriturismos in Pollino and Piano Martorino, and it's undoubtedly one of the best, from the sublimely prepared traditional dishes by Mrs. Emilia to the spotlessly clean and well-maintained rooms. This agriturismo is nestled in the wild Pollino, and for those who love tranquility and relaxation, it's the perfect place. I'll be back as soon as possible.

17/05/2026: Passing through Pisticci, we had lunch at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff.
The lunch was excellent, with generous and high-quality dishes, so much so that we didn't have a chance to try the main courses because we were full after the appetizer and first course.
The flavored grappas, made in-house, are especially noteworthy; they're truly delicious.
I hope to return soon; highly recommended!!!

09/06/2026: Lovely classic Italian food! I’m vegetarian and they even supported me with a lovely unique pasta (and there’s a delicious one on the menu also)
Went 2 nights in a row and really enjoyed!
06/06/2026: We had two peppered mussels and a spaghetti with octopus sauce, both really good. The pasta portions are generous and the staff very friendly. A must-try!
