23/02/2025: We had dinner at the Masseria del Parco! The large room was occupied for a sixtieth! The owner placed us in a small room, telling us that we would be fine. The room was freezing, we asked several times to turn on the hot air, their response was: there is a fault with the boiler, the technician is arriving, from Matera at 11pm🤣🤣🤣 The technician never arrived.... He wanted to trick us... making us believe that he would arrive!!! We froze! In reality the systems in that room have always been broken and it is impossible to stay there because the walls are made of tuff... Owner: you should have been more sincere with the customers.... For the sake of earning money you made us freeze.... Often greed knows no respect! Shameful! P.s. The owner didn't even apologize!! Evidently it is normal for him to behave in that way with the customer…….

16/02/2025: We already knew the skills of Rossella, Anna and Franco as excellent instructors at @maneggio Cavallo Amico, today, for our Chiara's eighteenth birthday, we discovered the culinary ones at @ “La Vecchia Fattoria”: welcoming atmosphere, which made us feel at home, traditional food delicious and expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, very attentive and friendly dining room staff. Highly recommended.

15/03/2025: We came to this restaurant during a traveling weekend in which we stopped in Maratea. By chance we found ourselves in a beautiful place. Daniele and his mother are two fantastic people who were able to give us the best advice both in terms of the dishes and the choice of wines. I would like to point out that there are some truly superlative bottles. Daniele really prefers local products and the dishes we tasted were really excellent. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!!

15/02/2025: Availability and kindness of the staff. Welcoming place. We were attracted by the scent of good food coming from the street adjacent to the entrance. Generous and typical portions. The care and attention towards us was top notch. If we return to Matera (and I really hope so) it will be our stop for a good lunch or dinner.

21/01/2025: Sui generis restaurant, reservations are recommended, few seats, if the place is full you lose a bit of intimacy, but it is still suitable for a table with friends. Friendly and professional owners, good service and very good cuisine. Cellar not overly stocked. Dishes based on Pollino truffles highly recommended, truly excellent. Delicious desserts.

18/03/2025: the restaurant was placed inside ancient water cisterns, which makes it very particular and fascinating. the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, the staff are attentive, thoughtful, present, available, always ready to explain their dishes or products and to satisfy every request. I was in this place the first evening I arrived in Matera, with my partner, we chose some typical dishes and two glasses of red wine, (primitivo and aglianico) the owner, very kind, wanted us to taste some Greek and offered us two glasses and at the end offered two glasses of liqueur. right proportions, excellent quality/price ratio. highly recommended!

25/02/2025: Marie-Cooking and Spirits Workshop- is a truly special restaurant. The welcome of Carmine, the owner, puts you at ease so much that you feel at home. Family-run and with professional and kind staff, this small restaurant makes truly super dishes!!! The menu ranges from seafood dishes to land dishes and nevertheless to lake dishes, the recipes vary according to the seasonality of the raw material, of excellent quality without a doubt. In the summer I recommend you book for a dinner by the lake, you will be enchanted by the atmosphere. The cellar is well stocked and if you are undecided about which wines to pair with your dishes, Carmine will find the solution, a great enthusiast who will definitely be able to advise you. The trout in BBQ sauce is an interesting dish to discover and the beetroot risotto is something delicious. I recommend the tasting menu to try a bit of everything, but if you're hungry, choose directly from the menu. Restaurant to try if you are in the area!

02/03/2025: We had dinner at La Lopa, in the heart of Matera, and were really satisfied. We ate very well, tasting different courses, all delicious and prepared with great attention to traditional flavours. The staff is extremely kind and thoughtful, making us feel at home from the first moment. Sincere compliments to the owners, to the waiters who do an impeccable job (and I also really thank you for having a candle available that turned a corner and made my birthday special!) and above all to the chefs, true culinary artists. The structure is taken care of down to the smallest detail, with a perfect location and a truly unique touch: an underground cinema that makes the experience even more special. We will definitely return - a place that absolutely deserves to be experienced!

25/02/2025: Enchanting place divided into elegant caves, in one they broadcast a mini film on the history of Matera... A great impression for a romantic dinner. A variety of inviting revisited local dishes. With a complete meal, 2 of us ate. The waiters are competent and kind... Everything perfect
