30/12/2025: I went to D-Food in Lavello and I have to say it was an incredible experience. I tried the Murtadell burgers and also the Mac N'sacc: truly 10/10. The meat and flavors were super balanced, everything was perfectly made, and the quality was evident at first bite. The fries were also really, really good: crispy, flavorful, and perfect with the burgers. I'm from Germany, and honestly, there are very few burger shops that can match this level. Everything was truly super, super, super delicious. I'll definitely be back—highly recommended!

08/02/2026: Came for a nice dinner at 8pm and we were met outside by a nice waiter with a wonderful mustache! He brought us inside and we were given a nice table for 2. Amazing cave-like atmosphere. We had 3 people taking care of us. A beautiful lady (could be owner) explained the wines and we order a nice dry red from her recommendation. Another waiter opened and poured our vino and it was perfect. Then our mustached friend took our order. Started with a nice buffalo margarita pizza - cooked to perfection and delicious! Main course - papparadelle (a bit more narrow than usual) ai fungi porcini- amazing and tasty!!! Also had chittarra ai ricci spaghetti (square) with fresh clams and a sauce that was out of this world!! Finished off with a nice pistachio gelato! All in all a first class A-rated experience!! Molte Bene!! Gratzie!!!!!

26/01/2026: In Pisticci, you have no choice: either here or a packed lunch. Luckily, the only restaurant in Pisticci is also a delicious one, impeccably managed, in an elegant, historic building in the heart of this wonderful white city in Basilicata. The intriguing menu was completely satisfying. The dishes are memorable and worth returning for: grilled pecorino cheese and bean and fennel soup. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: We were a group of 8 people this weekend for the festival in Spinoso, both for lunch and dinner, a beautiful place with lots of greenery, a welcoming place, truly excellent service, the lady who served us was very kind and accommodating in many situations, we returned for dinner because the cuisine is truly excellent, there is an embarrassment of choice between starters, first and second courses, everything delicious, we will definitely be back.

11/10/2025: Super! A beautiful place, surrounded by the mountains of the Agri Valley. Excellent quality food, the meat melts in your mouth. Everything is fresh and perfectly cooked. The prices are very fair and the portions are generous. We were served quite quickly even though it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. Satisfied...I'll definitely be back 🤩

20/01/2026: First time here. Truly excellent, completely different from the average all-you-can-eat sushi you'll find. The filling is generous, the quality of the ingredients is truly excellent, and the texture is remarkable. The creativity and flavors are truly superior; the various ingredients stand out beautifully yet blend seamlessly together without overpowering or distorting each other. I highly recommend it! Orders for two (price per one)

02/12/2025: The pizzas are excellent, as are the various menus. Prices are very reasonable. It's a shame that on some pre-holiday evenings there's a bit of a wait. But you know: where there are lots of people, the food is good and the price is low.

20/02/2026: A truly excellent restaurant; excellent food, fast service, and a truly friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful, well-appointed setting. The pizza is delicious, and you can taste the excellent dough and evenly cooked food. Both the first and second courses are excellent and plentiful, including those featuring exquisite porcini mushrooms and truffles. The homemade desserts are also delicious, and Pizzo Calabro ice cream is available. Prices are definitely reasonable. The staff, starting with the owners, were always available even when I arrived quite late for work.

25/02/2026: A local-friendly trattoria despite being in a very touristy area. We had a fantastic meal and the service was friendly. The tiramisu didn't seem homemade and it wasn't the best we've ever had. I would definitely go back because the pasta was spectacular. Super tasty.

21/02/2026: Typical, home-style cooking. We ate wonderfully! The bread meatballs were wonderful, not to mention the orecchiette with turnip greens and crusco peppers. I'd return to Matera just to eat here again!

The coffee was excellent and the service was nice and helpful. It is an ideal place to take a short break and enjoy the real Italian atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting.

From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. I would return without hesitation. 🍝🌿✨

We were made to feel so welcome by Stefania who went above and beyond to look after us even though our stay was in the low season. We had a very comfortable room but the highlight was the evening meal which was the most delicious local produce cooked to perfection. An experience and a stay that we will cherish always. 15/02/2026: The location is simply fantastic. The restaurant is an old farmhouse steeped in history, which the sweet waitress passionately shared with us. Today, it's an agriturismo with authentic charm, furnished by the owner Antonio with unique pieces from the past that make the atmosphere even more evocative. Upon entering, you're greeted by a splendid Moto Guzzi Falcone, a bicycle suspended from the ceiling, and an ancient wine press that recounts the traditions of times gone by. At the checkout, there's a precious collection of vintage cameras: you immediately sense the owner's passion for photography. The dining room confirms this: the walls are adorned with numerous framed artistic photographs, photographs of animals and landscapes captured in wonderful moments, capable of moving and transporting the eye. With such a refined atmosphere, the cuisine couldn't be less impressive. We enjoyed traditional dishes, such as "Lu Pan cuott," alongside more innovative options. Each dish was flavorful and balanced: the flavors never overpowered, but blended harmoniously, allowing us to appreciate each individual ingredient. The staff was incredibly courteous and professional. The owner, with great kindness, introduced us to a dish not yet on the menu: ravioli filled with "cutturiedd" mutton, accompanied by a creamy caciocavallo cheese and cruschi peppers that were simply out of this world. An explosion of authentic and well-balanced flavors. The quality-price ratio was excellent: we couldn't have asked for better. We'll definitely be back to try "Lu cuttudiedd" as well.
