02/05/2026: A beautiful place, suitable for a trattoria/restaurant due to the quality of the service and food. Mrs. Luisa is very professional, friendly, and honest. The only downside is on Saturdays, when the place turns into a bar with loud music that not only interferes with communication with the staff but also with each other.

From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. The professional service matches the expertly prepared dishes served. There's a strong focus on regional recipes and local products; the area is renowned for its cured meats. 17/05/2026: Antonella, Gino, and Filomena were incredibly welcoming, kind, and affectionate. Gino was also an excellent tour guide, while the housekeepers pampered us with typical local delicacies. When you come to this bar, you're buying a story, not just a drink or a dish. Definitely worth stopping by!

The quality-price ratio was right and then for those like me who come from CS... finding the Moka drink is the best... I won't even talk about the location because there is nothing else to add other than just saying that it is located in the Pollino park among a thousand beauties and even more.

02/05/2026: A pleasant discovery. I stopped here a few days ago for lunch during my Basilicata coast-to-coast hike. The owner, Giusy, made me feel at home in a beautiful location with a lovely view of the hills. P.S. By the way, it's incredible. I didn't know that years ago my father visited her restaurant and hosted him in her apartment after a concert with Alberto Cantone there in Rotondella, back in 2009, I think. Thanks, Giusy. By the way, we have the same last name!

First courses: if an experiment didn't work out, I'd opt for a simpler, tastier dish. The same goes for the second courses. For desserts, they need much more creativity and freshness. Decent

A concise menu that allows for a wide range of options, from meat to fish, including local and international cheeses. Among the appetizers, the egg with bacon and truffle deserves a special mention and stimulates the hypothalamus beyond belief. Hats off! The wine list is excellent. Chef Misuriello is like a fine wine, he only gets better with age... ad maiora!
