15/10/2025: Delicious pizza! Let me vely service, the lady gave us great and confident recommendations with pizza. We enjoyed the food service and atmosphere. We got recommended to come here buy a local and we defiantly recommend it ourselves.

28/08/2025: Delicious pizza 😍 I love the one with creamy potatoes and sausage! Nice place... unfortunately, however, the last time I was there they made us sit outside. We ate and then asked for something else but they made it clear to us in a very unkind way that it wasn't possible as they had to seat other people waiting (a family)... they had probably booked but had forgotten.... We didn't like this behavior at all... in fact, we won't be back again! The only shame is that we liked the pizza... As for the rest, we will definitely find better elsewhere!

Essence Restaurant, under the guidance of chef Enza Crucinio, is an experience that goes beyond simple cuisine: it is a meeting of elegance, authenticity, and passion. The menu fully reflects the restaurant's name: each dish is designed to enhance the essence of the ingredients, with technique and great sensitivity. Among the dishes we sampled, the "Uovo in giallo" (Yellow Egg) was memorable: creamy pumpkin soup, gorgonzola, crispy bread, hazelnuts, and a soft-centered egg that created an intense and enveloping harmony of flavors. We also had the opportunity to savor several first courses, each with its own distinct character, prepared with care and respect for tradition, but always with a personal touch: flavorful dishes that excite without artifice. To conclude the experience, the "Occhio del Drago" (Dragon's Eye) dessert: a perfect combination of the rusticity of Matera bread, the delicacy of sweet ricotta, and the richness of chocolate. A finale that leaves a lasting impression, like the entire meal. The service is highly professional and attentive, the wine list is well-curated, and the atmosphere is welcoming and refined. 02/09/2025: The biggest drawback I have is that it's quite hot inside (we went in September, so it'll be even worse in the summer), and they only have a small fan. We had risotto and spaghetti carbonara, which were very good, although what we liked most was the cheesecake; it was spectacular.

08/06/2025: The focaccia slice was really good, there are many flavors to choose from. 48-hour slow-rising dough. Very good. Staff a little slow to understand customer needs such as other focaccias to make or air conditioning.... Anyway, I recommend it if you don't have huge service expectations
