We had lunch today and had a wonderful time. The location was lovely, the food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Simona.

Spectacular food, friendly waiters, and fast service.
The suckling pig and cube roll with scamorza and pear were both better than the last. The pacchero with beef and hazelnuts was also very good.
We'll definitely be back.

To escape the daily grind, we had lunch out. We chose Caluae because it was just passing through our destination. I was struck by the introduction to their menu, which explains the establishment's origins and management—a lovely detail. I found the place to be clean, which is important, with simple yet elegant tablecloths. The service was very attentive and orderly. The choice of dishes: a mixed cured meats appetizer, a sliced steak, a plate of tortelli stuffed with meat and topped with truffle, a side of potatoes preserved in ash with crusco peppers, a delicious mille-feuille pasta with cream and berries, and a red fruit cheesecake.
The food was very good; the only flaw was the portions, a bit small. As the sign at the entrance says, BEYOND TRADITION, you can feel the tradition and also understand that a lot of thought goes into what they prepare.
