24/08/2025: Today we finally ate at this restaurant. It's very difficult to find a table because it's always packed. Beautiful location near the sea. The staff is very friendly. The food is good quality and well-prepared. Lunch was seafood-based. I especially recommend the seafood paccheri. We had a variety of appetizers and two first courses. The portions were so generous that we couldn't finish the second course. I recommend trying this restaurant. Book at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

10/11/2025: Hidden gem outside the tourist part of Matera. Great pizza, very friendly staff, typical familly owned business place we love to go. They dont speak English but the menu is in English so no problem. Dont expect a francy restaurant but if you want good pizza and nice place to spend the evening this is it. Price of a normal pizza is 9 Euro and 18 for the big one. We also received free desert and a local drink. We will be back on our next Matera trip

20/10/2025: A somewhat dated restaurant not far from the historic center of the famous city of Matera. Good pizza with quality ingredients, acceptable service (all disposable equipment used), and the place could use a renovation. Average price for the service offered.

27/06/2025: 🍻 Nice pub, great experience! We were in the outside area, very pleasant to spend a quiet evening. Even inside the atmosphere is welcoming, but there aren't many seats - inside or outside - so it's best to book to avoid running out. 🍺 The beers are really good, with an interesting selection. 🍹 The cocktails are well made, simple but well-prepared. 🍽️ The food is excellent, with tasty and well-thought-out dishes. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. A place where you feel good, perfect for an evening with friends. I'll be happy to come back!

24/11/2025: Lunch on a Sunday. We expected better from such a renowned restaurant. The paccheri were very salty, the strascinati with burnt cruschi. The other courses were nothing special. Appetizer, first course, and dessert for two, €70.

23/11/2025: Excellent hospitality, the owners Mimmo and his wife, who is also the chef, are unique. You feel at home, pampered and advised on everything—the cuisine, itineraries, and local customs—as if you were a lifelong friend. The cleanliness and order of the property and the rooms are impeccable. The bedroom with ensuite bathroom is bright, with every comfort you could need, well-furnished and airy, and offers an unforgettable view of the garden. The guest parking is very large and well-maintained; I was on a motorbike, and they let me park my vehicle in a private, covered area, something few do. The outdoor spaces are well-maintained and clean, and the vast gardens offer unique views. The food is indescribable; you absolutely have to try it: homemade pasta made by the wife and her son, using local products of their own production, exquisite guanciale, delicious desserts made by the son, and it deserves its stars because when you eat, you feel like you're in heaven. The service is attentive and perfect. What more can I say? Come and try it, you'll be amazed. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Sergio

02/11/2025: We stayed here for a weekend and didn't have a great experience. The rooms had cobwebs, cockroaches, and even the towels weren't changed. The breakfast was poor, with toast and a couple of cakes. We had lunch at the hotel and found the prices excessive for the facilities and food. The room prices are exorbitant for the amenities offered.

22/09/2025: Four days of complete relaxation, immersed in nature. The spacious room was equipped with every comfort. The owners were attentive. What can I say...absolutely recommended.

26/09/2025: Everything is top 😍 the Lucanian carbonara is excellent, absolutely a must try if you come to this place, the potatoes and cruschi and the battered cod are delicious and also the local red wine... the place is very welcoming and typical, the waitress Anna, an Argentine girl transplanted to Lagopesole, is absolutely kind, always with a smile, patient and prepared in explaining all the dishes... an experience to absolutely try again, highly recommended.

The place is welcoming, clean, and offers a wide selection of sweet and savory treats. The coffee is amazing. They roast coffees for every palate. I highly recommend them!!! Excessive prices for the quality served. In short, absolutely not to be missed. The only good thing was the wine, but why don't they produce it?
