The dish I will cherish forever is the risotto with truffle, salted caramel, and Amaro Lucano cream: a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and aromatic, an explosion of flavor that I would unhesitatingly call the best dish I've ever eaten in my life. Making everything even more special was Donato's kindness and impeccable attention in the dining room, making you feel like you were at the center of a complete sensory experience. Through the glass separating the kitchen from the dining room, I glimpsed a close-knit team, smiling, orderly, and impeccably clean: silence, precision, harmony—almost a dance that contributed to the truly magical atmosphere. The restaurant, carved into the Matera tuff rock, is an architectural spectacle: intimate, elegant, and authentic. Every detail exudes passion and respect for the land that hosts it. Donato's wine selection is an exciting journey through Basilicata and Europe, with perfect pairings that enhance each dish, showcasing the finest ingredients and creativity. An experience to be relived and re-lived many times in a lifetime, because in places like this, time stands still, and taste becomes pure emotion. We'll definitely be back!

04/10/2025: What a treasure in Matera. Beautiful delicious food, pretty setting, friendly and attentive service. Great value, too. Loved the wine pairings and the concept of being able to assemble your own tasting menu. Chef is in the kitchen himself. The Michelin star is well deserved.

Not everyone remembers small details about preferences and tastes, fulfilling my request before I even ask... kudos to barmaid Carmela for her kindness and professionalism. 25/07/2025: An absolutely wonderful experience – it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. We stayed here for 2 nights in July for summer holiday, and were completely enchanted by the surroundings. The cozy farmhouse overlooks endless wheat fields, which had just been harvested when we arrived. The golden landscape stretched out to the horizon – peaceful, dreamy, and simply stunning. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, beautifully presented and full of variety. It was the perfect start to the day, enjoyed in a calm and charming countryside setting. The host was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They gave us great recommendations for hidden gems around Matera that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Everything about this place brought a sense of peace and warmth – the kind of countryside experience we absolutely love and will never forget.

20/06/2025: Un très bel endroit au milieu de la campagne du Basilicate et à quelques kilomètres de Matera. Accueil parfait, et en français. Une chambre très confortable et le lendemain, un petit déjeuner superbe, avec les produits de la ferme et venant aussi des alentours. À recommander absolument

13/01/2026: I went there alone for a business dinner. Overall, everything was good. Friendliness was paramount. I had a mixed roast with salad; I expected different dishes, but overall, it was good.

31/12/2025: I dined in passing without a reservation and they were very helpful in finding me a table. We were a group of seven and all the dishes we ordered were satisfying. A special mention goes to the first courses, which were truly excellent and deserve a full thumbs up.

30/12/2025: Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. I really enjoyed the risotto, and the waitress's wine recommendation was excellent.

13/01/2026: An absolute guarantee for divinely good food in the Potenza area. Fair prices for the quality ingredients carefully prepared in the kitchen. A concise menu that allows for a wide range of options, from meat to fish, including local and international cheeses. Among the appetizers, the egg with bacon and truffle deserves a special mention and stimulates the hypothalamus beyond belief. Hats off! The wine list is excellent. Chef Misuriello is like a fine wine, he only gets better with age... ad maiora!

04/01/2026: We had lunch at this delightful restaurant two days ago. There were five of us, including two little girls. We were greeted by a very helpful and kind young lady, and we were delighted, from the appetizer to the main course, with exquisite dishes full of flavor and beautiful to look at. We were very happy and will return next time we pass through Potenza.

29/12/2025: A paradise of top-quality meat. You choose your specialties at the counter and everything is cooked to order according to your taste. From fillet to sweetbreads, from Romagna bocconcini to spicy sausages and salami, not to mention the appetizers of traditional cheeses accompanied by exquisite lemon-infused extra virgin olive oil: everything is truly excellent. And the prices are almost unbelievably exceptional!

01/01/2026: At this restaurant, the mutton skewers (and more) and the meat are truly excellent. The sandwiches, first courses, and appetizers and side dishes (I recommend the Twister potatoes) are also very good. The desserts are unique and worth it; they're like soft nougat. The only flaw is the service; it's a mess when it's crowded.
