28/06/2025: Essere accolti da amici in un ambiente informale ma professionale non ha prezzo. Piatti tipici della tradizione Lucana rielaborati in modo sapiente dallo chef. Porzioni abbondanti ma curate fin nei minimi dettagli. Condimenti naturali ed assenza di addensanti, basta la maestria di chi cucina per creare le giuste combinazioni tra sapore, densità, consistenza e visibilità della portata. Siamo capitati per caso in questo locale dopo aver letto qualche recensione ma sicuramente sarà il nostro punto di riferimento a Monticchio,ci ritorneremo con piacere e con la certezza di essere accolti come in famiglia. In cerca di refrigerio dalla calura estiva (insopportabile in città) abbiamo visitato dei posti incantevoli: oltre la bellezza dei laghi abbiamo avuto modo di visitare il monastero di San Michele; posto incantevole che domina i laghi sottostanti in cui si specchia. P.S. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente!

12/07/2025: The host recommended us to this tavern, which is only 1 minute away from our residence. The price is very cheap, and it seems like a place where locals would eat. The type of food is a bit like a canteen, but it is already prepared and you can get it directly after ordering; it is not like a restaurant where you order and slowly make the food. The taste is still okay. If you want to pursue a better value for money option, if you want to go to a more refined restaurant, this is not it.

02/07/2025: Siamo stati alla Latteria dietro consiglio e…gran consiglio!! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Taglieri, spaghetti san giovannino, guanciale di vitello, tagliata, formaggio alla piastra. Tutto buonissimo. Se andate a Matera alla Latteria non sbagliate.

04/08/2025: La nostra permanenza è durata poco,ma abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere accolti e coccolati da Rossana e Antonio...personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo con noi e con la nostra bambina... abbiamo cenato,pernottato e fatto colazione...tutti prodotti tipici e homemade....la cena dall'antipasto al dolce fino all'amaro è stato un viaggio tra i sapori della Basilicata e la colazione ci ha fatto sentire a casa con una carrellata di ciambelle crostate plumcake da leccarsi i baffi... consigliatissimo!

27/07/2025: Siamo ormai reduci della "Locanda di San Francesco" siamo stati tante volte, sia in gruppo ma anche soli, ogni volta è sempre un avventura straordinaria. Il posto è bellissimo, pulito, profumato e ordinato, si mangia divinamente bene con prodotti tipici locali di alta qualità, si riposa serenamente, con un panorama mozzafiato e una brezza piacevolissima, e un silenzio travolgente..... Il proprietario Antonio, sempre attento e disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza del cliente, così come tutto il suo staff...... Consiglio una visita dopo aver svolto le molteplici attività che si possono fare in zona quali acqua trekking, rafting, river tubing..... Ecc... Ecc..... Volendo trovare un difetto proprio non c'è 😅

11/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso in questa masseria dopo una visita a pisticci. Piatti e accoglienza impeccabile. Siamo stati accolti anche da una volpe in giardino. Consigliatissimo, ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

27/04/2025: Questo posto è perfetto per rilassarsi e godere di ottimo cibo . Personale cordiale e disponibile . Il servizio impeccabile. La struttura è aperta solo nei weekend. Peccato non avere disponibilità per le camere in questo periodo.

24/06/2025: Lovely place, truly a refreshment. Sandwich with sausage and melted provola cheese with ice cold beer. I can still taste it now. Only flaw.. It opens too late and closes too early. For those who go on excursions, there is no possibility of refreshment in the late return journey. Nature at 360 degrees

10/06/2025: Couple dinner for a special event. We chose to dine at this restaurant… a true taste experience. Beautiful, well-kept and clean place, exquisite staff and open kitchen. We chose a tasting menu, with some variations given my state of pregnancy… everything excellent and abundant. I recommend it and we will definitely be back!!!! Many compliments!!

27/04/2025: Opera d’arte Oltre al cocktail creato dal barman e ispirato alle opere di Dorian Gray, ecco un’altra opera d’arte uscita dalla cucina di Enza. Provare per credere, prima una delizia per gli occhi e poi una delizia per il palato. Complimenti alla Chef Enza Crucinio e a tutto il suo staff!!

21/07/2025: Excellent food, dimly lit and unwelcoming location. Good selection of salads, overall quite comprehensive menu. I would have given the service a 5 if they hadn't messed up our takeout order: We put together our €8.90 salad from our cell phone with our choice of ingredients, specifying that we wanted salmon and cruschi peppers. When we got home, we were surprised to open the packages and find a plain salad WITHOUT ANY SALMON OR CRUSCHI PEPPERS... of a lower commercial value. Luckily we ordered and the menu was put together from our cell phone; a serious and unprofessional mistake. I didn't have time to return, but I'll definitely point it out, as I'll have the chance if I ever return.

14/06/2025: already from the outside this place inspires a lot of trust and in fact upon entering you can perceive the familiarity and kindness of the owner. every dish on the menu is extremely inviting and I would have liked to try practically everything but everything I tasted exceeded expectations. here the pistachio is truly and fully felt. I recommend this place not only for the food itself but also for the environment and the treatment that you don't find everywhere🫶🏻

12/07/2025: Very nice place, and the staff is always attentive and friendly. But the highlight is, of course, the meat: delicious, tender, and plentiful. Excellent value for money. I recommend it to everyone and will be back soon.
