06/04/2025: Enchanting place immersed in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy (Irsina) a stone's throw from the historic center. Friendly, friendly and helpful staff. High quality food and drinks, with very careful and careful artisanal preparation. Warm and welcoming environment with attached private room. Recommended are the pastiera in the variant of the Lucana recipe, the Foglia with Chantilly cream and pieces of cooked apple and the classic nuns' tit in all its flavours. On the savory side I recommend the toasts but the piadinas are also not to be underestimated. The toast is well prepared with the right mix of cheese and ham. Both sweet and savory, every little flavor of the ingredients is appreciated. Perhaps five stars will be exaggerated... But personally they are all worth it because it is rare to find friendliness, competence, quality and hospitality in one place.

13/05/2025: Mrs. Barbara welcomes us, very friendly, pleasant and passionate; the place is full of charm, created in a medieval environment and renovated with great taste and without saving. Our room had an entrance room with stove, sofa and kitchen, a staircase and there is a single bed and the bathroom. Another ladder and there is the double bed. It overlooks a very beautiful countryside from above

24/05/2025: The quality is average. It doesn't excel and the pizza has a dough that makes it too soft, sometimes rubbery, not easily digestible. The ingredients are good and fresh, also well preserved and the oil had no residues of old fried foods. Very good. The service is kind and friendly and the atmosphere is spartan, but well organized, tidy and clean. I will go back to try something else.

28/04/2025: Siamo giunti il 25 aprile in questo meraviglioso posto, la locanda di san Francesco,ad attenderci con calore gentilezza il signor Antonio il proprietario della struttura, ci siamo sentiti subito in famiglia, le camere pulite in ogni dettaglio,abbiamo usufruito del pacchetto, del escursione guidata eccellentemente sul fiume Leo esperienza ke non dimenticherò mai,ke dire del cibo, ottimo e' abbondante, curato da ogni dettaglio dai camerieri, sempre pronti, per ogni esigenza, con i loro sorrisi e la loro eleganza, siamo andati via ieri mattina non nego ke sotto i miei occhiali da sole nascondevo una lacrime,per aver lasciato questo posto ke spero si ritornare presto, e che mi manca già da morire,un grazie grande ancora a tutti voi e ci abbraccio ad uno ad uno, vi consiglio tutti vivamente di andare.❤️

23/04/2025: Abbiamo trascorso il week end di Pasqua e’ stata un’esperienza bellissima.Fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e professionalità da tutto lo staff sempre sorridente e disponibile.La era pulita, luminosa il letto comoda e la tranquillità del luogo ci hanno regalato un sonno rigenerante.La colazione…una vera coccola!Ricca ,varia,con prodotti freschissimi e anche qualche deliziosa sorpresa pasquale che abbiamo apprezzato. Anche il ristorante merita una menzione speciale:piatti gustosissimi e ben presentati.Nel prezzo erano comprese le gite guidate sul Pollino .Un grazie sincero a tutto il personale per aver reso la nostra Pasqua così speciale.torneremo sicuramente.

03/10/2024: I’ve ate at many Michelin star restaurants in various countries. The deserve a star for sure. Very creative presentations, the food was amazing, and the service was exactly how we liked. I highly recommend…as for the bad reviews, I would take them with a grain of salt, as many people have tampered expectations and attitudes.

02/06/2025: Delicious food, very fresh local products and what about the owner? Very kind and attentive. He opened his place only for two people, which is not a given ... I was undecided between two desserts, I ordered one but he kindly brought me a portion of the other one too!! Clean environment and top service!! What can I say? If only everyone was like him! 18/02/2025: After having strong difficulties trying to find a place to have dinner on a late Tuesday evening, we were welcomed here kindly by the owner, saving our night. We had great pizza, with the ingredients especially the salsiccia being very very good!!

18/05/2025: Restaurant with a wonderful view despite it being Sunday they were immediately ready to welcome us by giving us a place on the terrace polite staff friendly and fast excellent food full of traditions every time I go to the sassi of Matera it will be my fixed stop I recommend it compliments.
