14/05/2025: I had been missing for a few years but I was amazed to find the same welcome and cordiality. Vincenzo, the owner, is always available and courteous and always puts us at ease. The restaurant is clean and well organized. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. It is a restaurant that I recommend!

09/05/2025: The hotel is about a few hundred meters from the very center, on the access road, very quiet and nice. The rooms are nice, clean, quite large and equipped, a small minus is the "dummy" fridge, but otherwise it's great. The lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. The breakfasts are very tasty, Italian style. A hotel restaurant with a large selection at affordable prices. The hotel itself is very good in terms of price/quality ratio. I wholeheartedly recommend it. I will definitely come back on my next trips. Thank you

27/04/2025: Cozy hotel. Not very modern due to the carpet everywhere but clean rooms. Courtesy set including slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste and sewing set! Abundant breakfast and above all everything done by them. They cater to celiacs with packaged products. The owner gifts customers with a pack of her delicious biscuits. Advised!

28/05/2025: We celebrated our wedding in this extraordinary location a few days ago after choosing Sala Ermica for its strategic position along the Basento valley and the positive opinions collected from other spouses and we couldn't have made a better choice: from the large room equipped with every comfort, to the garden with olive trees in bloom, to the covered winter garden, every corner contributed to enriching and making the day unique. Not to mention the excellent quality of the lunch we enjoyed together with our guests. A sincere thank you goes to Anna, the owner who supported us and put up with us in all our requests, even the most meticulous; to the maître d' Walter who pampered us throughout the event, to Vincenzo at the reception, to the chef Rocco Morgese and to all the staff. Anna pays attention to every detail and everything becomes a spectacle for the eyes and the palate. Hers is a complete package that goes from an excellent set-up to the cake table to the entertainment that makes the day unforgettable so the customer does not have to worry about anything else! The food is excellent and the waiting staff meets every need with courtesy and maximum professionalism. Really well done, compliments!

12/04/2025: Siamo stati a cena con amici. Che dire...pesce ottimo dagli antipasti ai secondi non ho trovato alcun difetto, materie prime di livello e preparate a regola d'arte. Buona la carta dei vini. Prezzo finale assolutamente competitivo. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto è il parcheggio all'esterno, un po piccolino. Giudizio complessivo comunque resta alto.

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos un menú degustación de 5 platos con maridaje de vinos y la comida y el servicio fue de los mejores que hemos disfrutado en cualquier parte del mundo. Francesco y Anna nos miraban muy bien. Francesco es uno de los propietarios y un sumiller y proporcionó información detallada sobre los vinos locales de Apulia y Basiliciata, así como recomendaciones para experiencias gastronómicas excelentes en otras ciudades de Apulia. El vino blanco y los dos tintos Aglianico eran excelentes! El restaurante se encuentra en el casco antiguo de Matera con una espectacular terraza y vistas. Para la buena comida Michelin, el precio era muy razonable y lo recomendaría encarecidamente.

30/04/2025: Do it. Get the tasting menu. Its really fun. It wasnt the BEST tasting menu i’ve had but the presentation made up for it. The explanations of the dishes were exquisite but when I would taste them, they kinda tasted regular EXCEPT the scallop tartare. That was magnifique. Service is an 11/10, makes you feel like aristocracy. Its also cute inside and the attention to cuttlery is a nice touch.

14/04/2025: Torniamo di frequente in questo ristorante partendo appositamente da Potenza. Ultima vista il 14 aprile. La qualità degli alimenti è sempre all'altezza delle aspettative. Lo chef tratta con sapienza le ricette della tradizione locale. Il locale è accogliente e ben posizionato in un un ambiente verde ben curato. Una particolare menzione merita il servizio curato dal sig. Rocco che si connota per garbo e signorile professionalità. Numerosi gli ospiti abitue' (garanzia di soddisfazione).

13/04/2025: Siamo capitati per caso durante un giro on the road. Ottima cucina. Fusilli, ravioli con funghi porcini, filetto al vino: una delizia, e chiaramente, quello non manca mai , agnello alla satrianese, il tutto sotto la supervisione del simpaticissimo Rocco.
