06/04/2024: Excellent pizza! High quality method of baking and done simply and right. Staff were friendly - only shame is the mandatory cover charge.

05/04/2024: Excellent quality, homemade food, a well-kept and modern atmosphere. All staff very friendly. We had to wait a bit to be seated because we were a large group and didn't make a reservation.

31/03/2024: I was there last October while we were at the Equestrian Center in Arezzo, we ate very well at an excellent price, complete with a surprise, organized by my daughter with the dining room staff, of a slice of cake with a candle on top, given that it was my birthday. Very nice rustic atmosphere. If we return to the area, we will happily return.

24/03/2024: We spent over 30 days in Italy in 3 visits and without question, this was my favorite restaurant. Even though English was not spoken here, we enjoyed the food and the staff! I will return one day.

24/12/2023: Make a reservation here, because there are only 8 tables! And don't be fooled by the outside. Because once inside, you will be greeted by the sweetest and friendliest people in this restaurant. They serve certified meat from the Tuscan Chianina breed (Florence region). The fantastic T-bone (Bistecca) is also available in other and cheaper varieties. Order 1 large one of 1kg for 2 people and, after your inspection, it will be prepared on the BBQ in the middle of the restaurant. Fantastic! Please note, the price is a bit higher. But totally worth it. Because this is the best steak I have eaten in Tuscany!!! Tip: You can park directly next to the building, at the back.

03/10/2023: As a starter we had three types of tartare which were really very good. For the main course we had the steak with truffle honey. I ordered mine medium and it arrived quite bloody and very cold. Unfortunately it's a shame for €40. Tasted good, it was something new. For dessert I had a tangerine sorbet which was incredibly tasty and refreshing! The waiting time is very long. On average we waited 30-45 minutes. The service was very friendly and speaks good English.

20/10/2023: The service is very friendly and quick. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food. The tartare without any taste, without any seasoning or sauce. The meat dry and tasteless. Only the side vegetables were very tasty. It might be difficult for vegetarians to find something on the menu.

01/04/2024: The place was recommended to us by the hotel and I must say that it was an excellent choice. We had two mixed grills of meat with a side of potatoes, a divided creme brulee, half a liter of house wine and 2 Tuscan bitters. Everything was very good, the meat was of excellent quality and the creme brulee was also really good. The only flaw was that they made us sit in an almost external room and let's say that the temperature was a little chilly but nothing special

10/03/2024: I have no words to describe the size of this place. You eat super well and you are welcomed like family, what more could you want? Super generous portions and excellent quality Something that is no longer taken for granted. We ate fish-based, and I tell you that we felt and tasted the sea at the table... here the great refinement of the raw material is evident... Super clean place with parking available. Would I go back? If I lived there I wouldn't cook anymore and I would let them pamper me every day.

05/05/2024: We were there for lunch around 1:30 p.m. There are dishes from the kitchen, pizza only in the evening. Food good. The service was nice and helpful. Delicious lamb. Local wine too. There is parking for 3 cars. There is a toilet with a beautiful view of the Val d'Orcia.

04/05/2024: Pizza number 6 on the menu has zucchini on it without asking. Too wet and 1 of the 3 pizzas has blackened edges on 50%. We are asked the perfunctory question of whether everything is okay as we quickly walk past. Without interest in the answer, she didn't listen. For the dessert (quality: wholesale), 3 plates are placed on the table and the lady loudly explains which dessert is which. In short: we just have to put the right dessert in front of us. The lady seems alone and too busy, but that is no excuse. Extremely disappointing that we had the worst restaurant experience of 4 Italy holidays here. It didn't cost much money, but it did cost stars.

19/03/2024: I have been to eat here several times, as a couple, with friends or even with children and grandparents. The place is full of things, both inside and outside, so it may not be a problem. The service is very fast, the menu is limited and makes the task of the waiters easier, some simple appetizers, chicken and chips, normal or spicy, alternatively two hamburger options. Usually the cockerel is tasty and good. Tonight mine was raw, even if it was hot, the only parts I could eat were the breast and the wings, the thighs and thighs were raw, they even leaked pink liquid onto the plate. Not bad, of the three dishes ordered only mine was like this and for once it fits. Even the desserts are simple like the rest of the menu. This is also reflected in the bill which does not give negative surprises, on the contrary, it encourages us to return, which is what we regularly do.

18/11/2023: We stayed for two nights in this beautiful inn, that's what it is, inn, where we had a wonderful time. The service is done by young, very kind and polite people. Excellent internal restaurant. I highly recommend and will definitely return

14/11/2023: Easily accessible place because it is located on the main road that leads to the Camaldoli Hermitage, convenient due to the proximity of free parking (just a short walk away) and......for me it was a real surprise. And located next to another place where they still do dunks and where I have always been but, the Locanda dei Baroni exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The restaurant has a rustic/classic style with a warm and welcoming atmosphere also thanks to those who work there. The staff is very kind, patient and accommodating, always smiling. There are 3 rooms with tables for lunch/snack or dinner... one as soon as you enter, one on a mezzanine (very suggestive) and a room in a room next door, all well kept, cared for and clean. Obviously here it is worth taking the Schiacciata which is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, not very high, easily digestible and...with plenty of filling as it should be.
