22/05/2025: Hi, I often go to the old in other locations in Florence, I arrived here with my boyfriend and there were few tables with people and very dirty ones, all still to be cleared, but that's not really the point, the point is that I ordered a cheesecake and told the waiter that the placemat was obviously not needed, since it already costs a lot, and he still gave me the placemat that I didn't even dirty at all, obviously, he made me pay 2 euros for the cover charge, for what exactly? I'm a waitress too so I know it's really senseless, and I told him it wasn't necessary and he insisted. If it's company policy to put a cover charge on any order I apologize for my complaint. It's not two euros that will change your life, but I wanted to say this, then in the end when we paid we paid separately, divided in two so I didn't remember to say about the cover charge.

03/06/2025: Buon ristorante per pranzi e cene, buona cucina napoletana, antipasti e primi veramente buoni e porzioni abbondanti. Cucina sia di terra che di mare, il tutto molto buono. Da provare sicuramente.

01/06/2025: I have been coming to La Grande Rustichella for many years for certainty on every specialty... but from this evening I will not come anymore, the pizza is not Neapolitan and only Indian, staff without the spirit to satisfy customers. Without Mr. Francesco it is no longer the same.

10/05/2025: We came to this place only because it had gluten free dishes and the AIC brand. The sandwich for celiacs is terrible and the contents too. Also terrible roast potatoes, half raw. We pointed out that the glass where the child had already poured the coke was dirty with food residue stuck to it and they changed the glass but the coca-cola was now gone. Spent a lot and ate badly.

11/05/2025: Room OK after complaint, service cool, breakfast spartan and always too little available, egg dishes and fried bacon always cold.

08/05/2025: While the hotel is not in the old city center it is only a 400 m walk away on sidewalks beside the road. It’s nice to also have a bar and restaurant for breakfast and dinner on premise. Last night I had the Tuscan bean soup. Very traditionally made with soft white beans, fresh spinach and bread and drizzled with olive oil. Flavors subtle the way it was meant to be in an average home. The baked chicken with saffron topped with asparagus was just right. Moist and tender inside with al dente asparagus. A fine end to a day on via Francigena.

12/04/2025: Tuvimos una comida fantástica aquí hace 2 noches. No podría recomendarlo lo suficiente! Preciosa decoración y ambiente, gran vino local y deliciosa comida! El servicio fue fantástico, Eleonora era nuestra camarera y ella era tan amable y acogedor. Ella nos dio algunas grandes recomendaciones y maridaje de nuestro vino perfectamente con la comida. Tuvimos el compartidor de charcutería entre como entrada (que era enorme pero delicioso! ) , luego compartimos el queso azul y los raviolis de pera, seguido por la carne de res en rodajas con salsa de vino tinto que estaba tan tierna. ¡La mejor comida que hemos tenido en la Toscana hasta ahora!
