22/07/2025: We visited Da Mario's restaurant on the recommendation of our guesthouse. The small terrace in the courtyard immediately appealed to us. There's an English menu. The staff themselves don't speak English, which made communication a bit difficult. The food was delicious and we were very satisfied. Therefore, we can't understand some of the negative reviews.

02/07/2025: The restaurant is worth it for the food: very good meat, well cooked and brought on a grill that keeps it warm. The environment and service are spartan but it doesn't matter

20/08/2025: We arrived at 1:30 PM with a reservation specifically for outside dining, but they wanted to seat us inside without air conditioning (I should point out it's August), saying they couldn't accommodate everyone! As soon as we sat down, they told us there was a bit of a wait because all the tables had arrived at once... as if lunch wasn't taking place at that time! The appetizers arrived at 2:50 PM, and not all at once, so some were eating while others were watching. We asked for wine, and the waitress put it on the table and left it there without opening it, only to open it again 15 minutes later. The first courses arrived at 3:30 PM, obviously not all at once. I had asked for a fusilli with guanciale, datterino tomatoes, and tarallo, and it arrived with speck. The reply was that they had run out of guanciale and the chef had added speck to the recipe on his own initiative without telling us. Another diner received an unpleasant addition of cuttlefish sac and shrimp intestines in his squid ink gnocchi. We asked for a bottle of water, and after 30 minutes the waitress arrived and asked if we preferred it still or sparkling. The very young waitress, perhaps newly hired, had no idea how this job was done. We left the table at 4:10 PM, paying more than €40 per person, with a substantial discount of €2.90 for six people. A Neapolitan trattoria that's Neapolitan only in name, but nothing like true Neapolitan cuisine! Absolutely to be avoided.

19/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant, excellent pizza and food! The location and atmosphere would be super nice, but unfortunately we ended up at a different table than the one we agreed on the phone. Long wait for food... Excellent food, but you should increase the staff in August!

02/05/2025: Direi tutto ottimo,il padrone di casa ti spiega bene cosa c'è da mangiare, la carne e ottima la zuppa e fenomenale il tagliere di formaggio e salumi ottimi! Molto simpatici come tutti i toscani! Torneremo a mangiare i primi !!! Avevamo 3 chihuahua e ci hanno accolti senza problemi....

02/05/2025: Posto rustico e intimo.Personale che tiene cura al cliente.Cucina...davvero buona dall' antipasto al dolce.Carne di ottima qualità.Titolare simpaticissimo,insomma,un posto a conduzione famigliare e si percepisce dall'ambiente alla cucina.Consigliatissimo.

28/08/2025: My party of five expected an upscale dining experience with our 7:30 reservation. Instead, it was clear from the start this is not a high-end restaurant. The waitress asked for our food order immediately after we sat down. We told her we’d like to start with drinks, which is the normal flow at any proper restaurant. When we asked about cocktails, the Sommelier appeared and acted as though he couldn’t understand the simple question “Do you have gin or vodka?” His response was curt, dismissive, and he walked away. The waitress then returned again to push for a food order, still without offering wine or drinks. There was no manager in sight. The place was nearly empty, yet the staff seemed determined to rush us out rather than serve us. We stood up, paid for our water, and left. We ended up at Gilda, which I highly recommend—just bring a sufficient credit card ;)

27/08/2025: The Aria Steakhouse was very bad. The food was small, and they didn't bring what we expected, but it was still added to the bill. This restaurant is a rip-off.
