26/10/2024: I'm sorry dear Mr. Angelo, but this time it was a real disappointment... I have come several times during my holidays on Elba for 15 years now, on the evening of August 15th, 5 of us spent 330.00 euros for three VEGETABLE appetizers, two sliced ​​meats, a squid, two fish (them alone cost almost 140.00 euros...) a bottle of "cheaper" wine and four coffees... a real exaggeration, there are certainly locations much more suggestive, on the sea, with excellent cuisine and lower prices... it pains me to say it but it was my last time at Pilade. Good continuation.

23/02/2025: I admit, we found it by chance and due to an inconvenience that occurred on the street we were well past the lunch deadline but they welcomed us with enthusiasm without problems. Staff made up of women only, kind, helpful and fast! Exceptional Norcino starter, Mugellani Tortelli with Ragù and Rosemary Tagliata! Everything really good!

22/02/2025: Simple environment, but it is a tavern and rightly so. Ample parking and many covered parking. I took a "grilled steak"... perfect cooking, excellent quality of the very tender and tasty meat; the house wine is decent; exceptional quality/price ratio; tavern service, but everyone is kind and smiling. Little smoke and a lot of roast.

04/03/2025: Everything was excellent, the table was a little small for such large dishes!! Well cooked food and 'fast' but impeccable service, in the evening unfortunately even if we don't declare it, the double shift looms

10/03/2025: If it was a regular restaurant without the expectation due to its name, I would have given three stars out of five, but the disappointment was profound. Although the atmosphere was good, nice people and relaxed ambiance, the meat quality was not even close to any elevated standard. Probably at a level of cheap supermarket un-matured stock. I really do not understand the excitement about this restaurant apart of the nice marketing stance. Not only that the cuts were poor, they were not accurate and correctly cut. I do not suppose it’s due to luck of knowledge, but rather luck of respect. It was very sad for us, as we came half way across the globe to be there.

06/01/2025: We booked for one night but extended our stay for the next night without delay! Excellent location in the Maremma valleys, good air, excellent and fresh food for both breakfast and dinner, affordable prices for non-pretentious customers who love to enjoy life in simplicity and naturalness. Nice atmosphere, fireplace always lit in the restaurant area and welcoming and easy-going staff especially the very kind Fosco and the young colleague not to mention the very nice owner Luca! A unique and unforgettable, we will definitely return because for us the human side of the stay is everything.

05/11/2024: My boyfriend and I spent an evening for dinner (02/11/24) in this farmhouse and we left fully satisfied. Abundant and very good dishes, and the staff were friendly and nice. The only flaw: a few bedbugs flying around the tables. I recommend it to everyone!

10/10/2024: Abbiamo scperto questo posto grazie a una conversazione fatta all'isola D' Elba con un conoscente. Mio marito amante della Fiorentina abbiamo deciso di fare una tappa a San Vincenzo e cenare al Relais della Fiorentina. Mai scelta fu più azzecata. Carne di alta qualità. vedere cucinare la fiorentina è uno spettacolo chi la cucina ha una vera passione. Il sevizio impeccabile del papà e i dolci della mamma ottimi. Tant'è che ci siamo andati anche la sera dopo. Peccato che abitiamo lontani.. Un posto che consigliamo vivamente..

26/01/2025: I had lunch on a trip up north. Very convenient due to its location close to the motorway, it is less than a kilometer from the exit. The pappardelle perhaps a little dry, but the meat, I think it's been years since I ate such tasty meat. Slightly high costs, but not too much. First courses around 15 euros and meat at 20 euros and up. Lovely place, punctual service and very friendly staff. The only thing is to pay attention to the times. Things are fresh so if you arrive after 1pm you risk not finding products, but what's left is still delicious.

23/01/2025: We stopped for lunch, during a business trip, 2km from the Monte San Savino exit on the A1, excellent food, fair prices, very quick service and cuisine. Recommended for anyone who is in these parts.
