30/01/2026: We ordered pizza and salad, both very bad. The menu outside didn't match what was inside. The waiter saved the day; he was very attentive. The food was awful, but that was our fault for ordering pizza here.

24/01/2026: Very good grilled meat, top-notch Argentinean red wine, I'd say. It's a small, charming place in the heart of Florence. The service is excellent, very friendly and helpful. There's a party atmosphere and music, and after dinner you can even have a drink, just like in a pub. It's lovely, I'll be back.

11/03/2026: this place was amazing! best dessert we’ve ever had- the affogato! our server alex was so kind to us and had exceptional service that really boosted our experience in this restaurant and city. he mentioned all the desserts are handmade by the chef and even offered us free limoncello at the end of our meal!

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

16/12/2025: We had a Florentine steak, a delight! I've never had such tender and flavorful meat, accompanied by baked potatoes and artichokes—nothing to say except that they were exquisite. Not to mention the desserts, delicious. Even though the place is small, we had our privacy. The owner was friendly and kind. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

26/11/2025: LUCIDO HAS ITS VALUE! (and its price) Dinner for 2 friends, wanting to relax, and excellent food: and we succeeded! ATMOSPHERE Welcoming, well-prepared, very intimate, with very few tables (maybe 5/7 in total, I think). Perfect for listening to the flavors rather than your neighbors (as often happens, unfortunately!). Small and quiet. FOOD Normal appetizers, at least the crostini, but good quantity. Truly EXCELLENT meat, and prepared with Exceptional Love. PURE RAW MATERIALS, DEDICATION, AND PREPARATION. FINISHING: DESSERTS + LIQUORS Good portion and presentation, average. Mixed liquor tastings: DIVINE Superior quality products, even in the spirits. Moreover, expertly explained to fully appreciate them. WINE The selection by the glass isn't huge, but that's fine. What I think could be improved are the prices per glass. €7, €8, and even €18 for a glass seem excessive for someone who wants to have just one glass! DETAILS TO KNOW (and appreciate) 1. Serve the (empty) plates by cleaning them elegantly beforehand; I've only seen that in movies. 2. A meat thermometer: Another Pro. 3. Letting the empty plate on which you serve the meat sit on the stone fireplace, so that it retains as much heat as possible, seemed exceptional to me. The "red" lamp is common, but "warming the plate" to avoid a thermal shock seems like a detail not appreciated by many. 4. For the first time in history, when I asked for just 1 glass of wine, they left the (unopened) bottle of the corresponding wine on the table so I could actually see what I was enjoying... It's never happened to me! I rarely drink just 1 glass, it's true! ; ) 5. Absolute transparency when choosing to pay in cash or with card: that is, no fuss or discounts. The price is there, period. And I think it's fair. SUMMARY: That's all that happened... And if you've read this far, I'm sure you'll come prepared. It seems clear to me that this isn't a place for birthday parties with large tables, or for young people wanting to party. But finally, it's a SPACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FEEL GOOD AND ENJOY THEIR QUALITY, WELL-PREPARED FOOD. Of course, with the associated prices, it's always good to be aware of that! ENJOY !

02/01/2026: Terrible experience on December 26, 2025.... terrible welcome, terrible service (we ordered a cheese board and they put it on the table without even explaining which type of cheese was which, nor the matching jams 🤦🏻‍♀️). The pici with garlic were terrible, the sauce was pale, and the pasta was almost overcooked. We finished dinner and no one asked us if we wanted dessert (which I wouldn't have ordered anyway, given the service, etc.). When it came time to pay, all the waiters had disappeared to chat among themselves in the kitchen. I had to call them by going in where I shouldn't have been. Only the location is worth it. Everything else is terrible!

I have to say that everything is delicious, starting with the appetizer with various excellent cured meats and equally delicious cheeses!! The handmade tortelli are very tasty, the filling is delicate and pairs perfectly with an excellent ragù! The truffle fillet we ate was an explosion of flavors, the meat melts in your mouth and your taste buds thank you! Dishes are carefully prepared! 25/01/2026: First time here, the bruschetta was delicious, the fillet steak was out of this world, the meat melted in your mouth, the desserts were very good, the price was fair. There was a bit of a wait between each door, but there were three large tables to serve, and I can't blame them for that. I'll be back

03/03/2026: An exceptional celebration of beef! Your host, Dario, delivers entertainment along with his skill and passion for a well cooked meal from start to finish. The set menu lunch is an experience a foodie should experience at least once in their lifetime. Definitely worth the out of the way trip to his hometown. TIP: Parking lot is on the left before you get into the city and had a back door entrance into the restaurant. No parking on the street or close to the front of the restaurant.
