01/04/2026: Following the recommendations of the friendly and welcoming Peruvian waiter, I tried churrasco. The cooking level is adjusted to your liking, and it was exactly as I wanted. The baked potatoes served alongside were also delicious. For dessert, I tried budin de pan, but I wasn't very impressed. I would definitely recommend this place 👌

16/12/2025: We had a Florentine steak, a delight! I've never had such tender and flavorful meat, accompanied by baked potatoes and artichokes—nothing to say except that they were exquisite. Not to mention the desserts, delicious. Even though the place is small, we had our privacy. The owner was friendly and kind. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

26/11/2025: LUCIDO HAS ITS VALUE! (and its price) Dinner for 2 friends, wanting to relax, and excellent food: and we succeeded! ATMOSPHERE Welcoming, well-prepared, very intimate, with very few tables (maybe 5/7 in total, I think). Perfect for listening to the flavors rather than your neighbors (as often happens, unfortunately!). Small and quiet. FOOD Normal appetizers, at least the crostini, but good quantity. Truly EXCELLENT meat, and prepared with Exceptional Love. PURE RAW MATERIALS, DEDICATION, AND PREPARATION. FINISHING: DESSERTS + LIQUORS Good portion and presentation, average. Mixed liquor tastings: DIVINE Superior quality products, even in the spirits. Moreover, expertly explained to fully appreciate them. WINE The selection by the glass isn't huge, but that's fine. What I think could be improved are the prices per glass. €7, €8, and even €18 for a glass seem excessive for someone who wants to have just one glass! DETAILS TO KNOW (and appreciate) 1. Serve the (empty) plates by cleaning them elegantly beforehand; I've only seen that in movies. 2. A meat thermometer: Another Pro. 3. Letting the empty plate on which you serve the meat sit on the stone fireplace, so that it retains as much heat as possible, seemed exceptional to me. The "red" lamp is common, but "warming the plate" to avoid a thermal shock seems like a detail not appreciated by many. 4. For the first time in history, when I asked for just 1 glass of wine, they left the (unopened) bottle of the corresponding wine on the table so I could actually see what I was enjoying... It's never happened to me! I rarely drink just 1 glass, it's true! ; ) 5. Absolute transparency when choosing to pay in cash or with card: that is, no fuss or discounts. The price is there, period. And I think it's fair. SUMMARY: That's all that happened... And if you've read this far, I'm sure you'll come prepared. It seems clear to me that this isn't a place for birthday parties with large tables, or for young people wanting to party. But finally, it's a SPACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FEEL GOOD AND ENJOY THEIR QUALITY, WELL-PREPARED FOOD. Of course, with the associated prices, it's always good to be aware of that! ENJOY !

20/10/2025: Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

06/05/2026: Clearly, overpriced for what it is. The meat was nothing special, on par with a Buffalo Grill in France. I suppose you could call this restaurant a tourist trap. It's not bad, except for their utterly bland risotto, but it's not good either. There are much better options in Florence. Get out of the city center, away from the negative reviews of tourists, and find restaurants run by Italians, for Italians, that do justice to their cuisine.

28/05/2026: There are places you choose. And then there are places that choose you. Bisteccheria del Vaticano was a completely accidental discovery during a special day spent with our mother for her birthday in and around Forte dei Marmi... and it ended up becoming the most beautiful memory of the day. We're not locals, we didn't know the restaurant, and we went in almost by instinct. As soon as we arrived, however, we immediately sensed something rare: that authentic welcome that is increasingly difficult to find these days. Andrea and the entire staff made us feel truly welcomed, with a sincere, unpretentious kindness, built on attention, warmth, and professionalism. The quality of the food left us speechless. Exceptional meat, authentic flavors, carefully selected ingredients cooked with respect. Each dish exudes passion, experience, and love for this work. But what truly makes this place special is the soul that permeates within. We felt good. And when you leave a restaurant with that feeling of lighthearted happiness, it means you haven't just eaten well: you've had an experience. It'll be one of those places we'll recommend to all our friends and anyone who wants to discover something authentic in this area. We were truly delighted. Congratulations to Andrea and the entire staff. Places like this deserve to last forever.

11/06/2026: The restaurant is famous for its trucks, ample parking, showers, polite and professional staff, and traditional Tuscan cuisine, well-prepared and prepared with care. It's a shame about the very insistent and rude parking attendant who demands a tip. Tips should be earned, not asked for.

10/06/2026: I returned with pleasure, today they outdid themselves.....the truffle cutlet was a spectacle...and also the pappardelle and the tiramisu

15/06/2026: A beautiful place, definitely ideal for a group with children due to its open spaces. My experience is based on a lunch with several families, and I must say that perhaps because there were so many of us, the service was quite slow and I wasn't very enthusiastic about the menu, although everything was still enjoyable.

10/06/2026: Want to enjoy affordable and excellent food and drinks with a lovely view? Then this is the place to be! The wines are amazing and the monthly menu is highly recommended. More food than you can finish for a very reasonable price. We came back a few days later to pick up one of those delicious bottles of white wine. We wanted to experience that again.

18/05/2026: I had an excellent steak last night... but beyond the delicious food, I found myself in a familiar atmosphere, at a table with strangers who, through conversation, turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Fast service, super-friendly staff. In short...a true gem in Florence, far from the hyper-tourist hub of the city center, despite being a trattoria very close to the center. Thank you for the wonderful experience you gave me!

12/05/2026: Dinner with friends at Christmas, we ate some delicious Chianina tartare, and the Red steak, for those who like a marbled steak it is the best, the pairing with the wine was very successful, I recommend this steakhouse to everyone, knowledgeable and friendly staff

12/05/2026: Amazing Steakhouse Restaurant! We had dinner at this restaurant on Sunday evening. We were in Carrara for the Animosi Theater light show. We had a wonderful time. The waitress was very kind and patient. She explained the entire menu to us (they only use products selected from small producers that aren't usually found commercially) and also advised us on the wine selection. She was excellent and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is warm and informal. We'll definitely be back. It was a lovely surprise, thank you.
