15/12/2024: We had the company Christmas lunch here at the Colonne. We ate very well, the staff is really friendly and the price is more than fair. I highly recommend!

05/11/2024: Sincere restaurant. I was for dinner on Saturday evening, and we decided to have a light starter of raw ham, fried pasta and stracchino. Then tordelli from Lucca and finally sliced ​​with lard. House wine and bitters offered. In the end €25 each and we were fine. As I said at the beginning, it is a concrete restaurant, more for eating out than romantic dinners. Average product quality.

19/08/2024: Recommended by a friend, it was immediately an excellent experience, Michele and his staff proved to be friendly and helpful, finding us a free table despite the late opening hours on the day of the Palio. Very rich menu including land dishes, pizza and cuts of meat of different varieties, we started with a platter of typical products of unique goodness, first courses always very abundant in the dishes and to finish a perfectly cooked cut of beef, all accompanied by a house red wine. A round of applause to the head nurse and the staff including Michele for their availability and professionalism. Competitive prices for the quality of the food and the service, certainly not one of those restaurants "for tourists" but on the contrary a typical place where you can eat really well and receive professional service, we will certainly return.

19/08/2024: 10 minute wait, Without a soul that deigned to reveal itself. Empty place, chef who pretended not to see us and the waitress who had the courage to say that they were full and we couldn't eat dinner. Terrible on all points of view including the insistence of parking

09/07/2024: Delicious pizza in both versions they offer: soft with a high and thin edge Pisan style. Young and very fast service. Very nice atmosphere, like an old workshop, furnished with very interesting recycled pieces. The owner Diego is very nice 😊

30/08/2024: OK experience. No more, no less. Did a 45 minute drive to get there, and I wouldn’t do it again since food is good almost anywhere in Italy. Had a fun apero moment in front of the restaurant. Dinner followed, and we were disappointed to see that the meal is pretty much ONLY meat. Servers go around with plates of meat, and simply drop some pieces in your plates without explaining what it is. It was good, but lacked seasoning. After eating meat for 1 hour and a half, the meal finishes with a plain baked potato 🙃. There is a simple olive oil cake served for dessert which was simple but good. Cool thing is that good wine and water is included. Overall, it is not worth the hype. Only go if you’re a huge meat lover.

29/08/2024: Fabulous experience! Magnificent atmosphere, precise and attentive service! The offer is excellent, the food is divine, the detractors are just envious. Mr. Cecchini is a character of unparalleled depth, just shaking his hand and exchanging a few words during the aperitif he offers is worth the price of the evening!

17/11/2024: Trovato un tavolo all’ultimo minuto, abbiamo deciso di fare tappa in questo ristorante, annesso a un albergo. Locale ben curato, anche se invaso da scatoloni di bottiglie di vino impilate un po’ ovunque. Abbiamo ordinato ravioli e delle verdure bollite, che purtroppo erano finite. La signora, molto gentile, ci ha proposto in alternativa delle verdure alla griglia con accompagnamento di panigacci. Volevamo rimanere leggeri perché in procinto di affrontare il Cerreto e siamo perfettamente riusciti nell’intento: i ravioli - buoni, per carità - erano in pratica solo un assaggio, così come le verdure alla griglia: la porzione che hanno portato, accompagnata da un panigaccio a testa, sarebbe risultata scarsa anche per una. La mia dietologa ringrazia.

17/11/2024: Locale storico nel centro di Aulla, facente parte di un albergo a 2 stelle. Concettualmente, essendo di un complesso 2 stelle ci si immagina un ambiente modesto. Invece il ristorante è molto curato e con una apparecchiatura elegante. I prezzi non sono assolutamente da 2 stelle! Abbiamo preso in 4, una cotoletta con patate fritte, una porzione Panigacci bolliti (tre con tre sughi diversi: parmigiano, pesto e sugo ai funghi con pomodoro). Ambedue i piatti buoni. Insieme due tagliolini ai funghi porcini ( a piatto ci sarà stato circa 50gr di pasta) buonissimi per carità ma è inutile costi 12€ se figura mezza porzione. Per secondo abbiamo preso due porzioni di panigacci con formaggi e salumi… questi mi sembrano avere un prezzo esagerato dato che a 16€ a porzione hai qualche Panigaccio con due vassoini di affettato (tra l altro non decantato come avevo letto) e due assaggi di gorgonzola e stracchino. Capisco che sia il prodotto tipico di zona ma mi sembra che si calchi un po’ la mano… intravisto i costi dei filetti… proibitivi (25-30€) e della bistecca (6/kg). Infine tre palline di gelato e crema coi frutti di bosco. In tutto 115€… TROPPO!

28/08/2024: Für eine Bar überaus zu empfehlen. Die Pizzen sind frisch und extrem lecker! Alle! Die Karte ist klein aber fein. Die Ceccina war frisch und köstlich. Ebenso ist das Personal sehr jung und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

25/06/2024: Abbiamo preso puzza vegetariana con crudo e pane arabo. Quantità molto abbondante impasto sinceramente non mi è piaciuto si sbriciola e sa di poco ingredienti della pizza e pane arabo buoni, peccato per l'impasto,poi si fredda subito.

15/10/2024: Family vacation. Very clean accommodation, cleanliness and order can actually be seen and breathed throughout the village, from the public toilets to the gardens. There are many attractions, many included in the price, soccer fields, basketball, beach volleyball, archery, MB routes for children, in short, you can't get bored. We had a very good time at the Il Tosco restaurant, we tried the grill which I personally didn't appreciate (but the guys did). It's a really big village and if you're not a big walker, cycling is a must. We measured the real distance between our house and the beach, 2.4km (the 800 meters declared are only the last piece), but the trains do an excellent job (it would have been nice to have them available until 9.30/10pm :00, at least all of August). Wasps at the bar, hundreds of them: they suck them up with the vacuum cleaner but they get into the desserts and fly all around the breakfast/snack area, we didn't dare take anything except a quick coffee. This also happens at the refreshment point before the beach. At the beach you can use an automatic pump to inflate practically everything, which is much appreciated. Large and clean beach, well-spaced umbrellas, lifeguards present and active. Very present surveillance service, especially in the evening, appreciated. Small pool, I approve paid entry. As much as I didn't like the animation, I would say it was very good, not intrusive. Guys full of energy, always smiling and eager to do. I only attended one evening and I can't comment further, but I saw them in action and I appreciated, for example, the consistency in continuing to rehearse in the afternoon. Last but not least, the sunset over the sea is worth the trip. If there were trains available after the spectacle of nature that we witness every day, it would be perfect. A really great village where you can find and try everything, the quality/price ratio is high. The sea's painful side: nothing like what is just further north. There is always the suspension that doesn't allow you to see anything, not even on the shore. Really a shame.

14/10/2024: The size of the charming village immersed in a beautiful pine forest is truly impressive, full of comforts and recreational activities, swimming pool, entertainment, a beautiful, well-equipped beach, walking paths, the possibility of renting bicycles, an outdoor cinema and many other things. Very welcoming. and kind.
