20/09/2025: In my opinion, the best in the area. It has all the necessary amenities, but the restrooms need updating, but they're still clean. UPDATE 2023: We've been coming to this beach resort for many years because, in our opinion, it's one of the best in the area. However, there's significant room for improvement: 1) the bathrooms need updating; the €1 timed shower is scalding hot, and there's no way to regulate the water (blocked taps); 2) the changing area doesn't have a curtain, and if you decide to leave early, you'll get baked in the sun; 3) there's significant room for improvement in the food area. They also offer other options, but the quality is mediocre, the prices are in line, and the coffee is really poor. We really appreciated the smoking ban near the umbrellas; the wifi and overall cleanliness are good; parking is convenient, but it's a bit pricey at €8 per day, but still in line. 20/09/2025: Food: I've only had experience at the bar, but the schiacciata was good. I'm told the restaurant is good quality. Service: very good and above all discreet (in the sense of non-invasive). Atmosphere: very good and beautiful. Well-spaced umbrellas and, above all, a clientele of a certain level. No one yells or brings their own bread or lunch. And then a great idea: the border between the free beach area and the resort area is parallel to the shoreline (the first few meters near the water are free beach). For these reasons, the price for an umbrella and two loungers is (at least in September) €30. The parking lot is spacious and has a separate charge, proportional to the length of stay. The €30 fee includes use of the restroom and showers (cold water) reserved for paying guests.

26/01/2026: Nice, well-maintained restaurant. The meat is freshly cut at the adjoining butcher's shop. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I stumbled upon it by accident, but I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

24/02/2026: The pictures don't reflect reality. The pool is nice, but swimming ends at 7 and you have to wear a swimming cap, even for babies! The sunbeds are also paid for at the paid campsite pool.. a bicycle is mandatory, because the area is huge, at least 10-15 minutes to the beach.. On the 3rd day, our bicycle was stolen from the parking lot opposite the restaurant. A padlock is mandatory in a closed campsite. We have been camping for 7 years, nothing has ever gone missing, neither in Austria nor Slovenia. There is no toilet paper, soap anywhere, the cicadas are so loud that we often talk while shouting. We have no idea where the children's program is, there is minimal information. Oh and the worst thing is that the party goes on until dawn, so you can't relax until a quarter before 1 am. The music is blaring every night, even though we are far from the concert area. I don't recommend the campsite.

17/02/2026: There's no better burger. The toppings are always different, with new additions. For those who want or need to forgo bread, I recommend the burger patty or the sliced ​​steak. The fries, called "briciole" here, are real potatoes and not pre-cooked/frozen as they usually are. I recommend the baba tiramisu for dessert. It's our go-to place, and I highly recommend it. Well done!!!!

08/02/2026: My takeout order arrived earlier than expected. The food quality was impeccable, everything was made with care, dedication, and passion. I had exceptional pulled pork, a mix of flavors and fresh, high-quality ingredients, along with very balanced nuggets and unique artisanal chips. This finished off with a delicious cake. To accompany it all, I highly recommend a Riegele, with its aromatic flavor and just the right amount of alcohol. If you can, dine in; otherwise, the products are just as fabulous at home.

06/01/2026: Pizzeria-restaurant near the highway exit with good parking (we parked with two campers and there were plenty of cars). Nice and clean atmosphere, excellent service, and reasonable prices. Excellent.

09/11/2025: Arriving at 8:30 PM, we ordered an appetizer and two first courses. The tables next to us were being served as expected. The appetizer arrived. At 10:00 PM, having not heard anything about the first courses, I got up and went to ask about them. "Sorry, sorry, there was a mix-up," I was told. The two dishes finally arrived at 10:30 PM, quickly prepared, and it was obvious. We finished the first courses and the pizza we had requested. After 30 minutes, I got up again and asked if someone could take our order for two desserts. In the end, I got really impatient because I was scolded for getting up too many times to request non-existent service. It's Saturday and we do everything express. And this is just for my table? What does that mean? You don't go to restaurants on Saturdays and you have to ask if someone is passing by to order? It's beside the point to say we're not a 5-star restaurant. What does that mean? This is about respect. It was an evening that left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

25/02/2026: Back for the second time: exceptional, excellent value. The ragù pasta dishes are sublime, with truly large portions and tons of sauce. The "Grande Antipasto Toscano" is another choice worth making. Unfortunately, the fried mushrooms weren't available; they're not so tasty this year, so I'll say no again. BTW, I don't recommend the lamb because it was a bit tough. The desserts are good, mostly because they have a wide selection. The Mille Foie gras is unorthodox, the tiramisu is average, but the ladyfingers are too soggy. It's still worth coming here. Update two years later: Prices have risen, portions have shrunk (the appetizers are skimpy), and the execution of the dishes is, I'd say, inadequate. The gnudi are truly... not very popular in my opinion.

20/09/2025: Every time I go to Siena, I book at Michele's. I've been going there for five years now and have always had a great experience. I'll be down in Siena again in October and I'll book a table there. Excellent food, a large restaurant, suitable for large groups, polite staff, and Michele is a great character. The meat is truly excellent, as are the pasta dishes, a wide selection, and very tasty. I recommend it.

20/10/2025: We stayed there for two nights. We appreciated the beautiful and well-kept environment. In particular, the impeccable cleanliness and the size of the bathroom, which was above the average standards of other hotels. The location is ideal for traveling the Chianti road to San Gimignano, which is considered one of the most beautiful roads in Italy.

01/02/2026: I dined here a few months ago. Da Giovannino is a simple restaurant in the center of San Giovanni. The food is good, both traditional Tuscan dishes and pizzas and baked goods. Perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family in a comfortable atmosphere.
