The food was okay, nice Chianti wine. Rather pricey for what you get. But it's a shame that we also had to pay extra for the table outside where we only sat for 1 minute.

What can I say...for what we spent I expected better, the truffle meat was good but the black truffle (the cheapest one) was dusted... the steak was not cooked like I've seen done elsewhere... the side dish was 4 baked potatoes (cold) the service was very kind... in the end for a starter and steak almost 80 euros per person seems excessive to me...

A very nice steakhouse in the center of San Miniato Alto, offering a variety of menu options. We opted for the "medium carnivore" menu, with a delicious cured meats appetizer and a trio of equally delicious tartares. Desserts, including service charge and water, were all for €29!

A great find. The place is small and well-maintained, with welcoming staff. The menu offers several reasonably priced options. I tried the €39 set menu with appetizers (the prosciutto was delicious) and steak. The fact that I left with a full stomach is a clear sign that I had a great time and would return.

Moving, in a word.
Carnivorous menu, three different but very high-quality tartares + a steak that was pure poetry of taste.
Honorable mention for the background music: Aerosmith - Thin Lizzy - Dire Streets - Jethro Tull - The Boss - The Who to name a few, in short, a delight.

An evening spent with friends at an intimate and welcoming restaurant in the historic center of San Miniato. We opted for a menu featuring a trio of steak tartares, each more exquisite than the last. After a brilliant start, we moved on to the main course: two enormous steaks, cooked rare but not too rare, flavorful and tender. The meal was accompanied by baked potatoes and beans, as well as two bottles of wine. A dessert to finish, a full belly, and a high spirits... All this comes at a cost, not excessive, but definitely worth considering.
