09/03/2026: Last night, we were looking for a late-night restaurant in the Isola area and stopped in front of La Peppa. Apulian cuisine, 90% meat-based, specializes in bombette (a type of pasta) made in a thousand variations. My brother and father had the house mixed platter, my mother had the orecchiette with turnip greens, and I had the cream of fava beans with turnip greens. My dish was good and plentiful (despite it being an appetizer), we all left quite satisfied, and the price was reasonable.

I decided to go there with my friends because Antonio, the owner, besides being undeniably charming, made a courageous choice. As an entrepreneur, I know that success in work, as in life, is the result of the sum of all the decisions we make. He chose to open this beautiful restaurant, because it is also beautiful, in Casal di Principe, which unfortunately, despite the many good people who live there, still doesn't enjoy a good reputation. UNFORTUNATELY. He chose to set up his small business there and not in Aversa, which commercially beats Casale 100 to 1. And he succeeded with honor. The other Antonio, the chef, treated me to the best eggplant parmigiana of my life, served by Nicla, a waitress of rare elegance, discretion, and helpfulness, but never intrusive. Choosing the right staff is crucial to the success of a business, and Antonio, the boss, has also succeeded in this. Courage is a quality I appreciate, beyond the excellent meat and sandwiches we had the pleasure of eating. Keep up the good work, my friends! The restaurant is located on the central Viale Colombo in Foggia, a densely populated area. Always very busy. Reservations are recommended. 18/02/2026: The burger was good, but not excellent. We had requested medium, but it arrived overcooked, making it a bit difficult to swallow. The dish was accompanied by rustic fries and some really good sauces. For our appetizer, we had tartare, which was very good, although a bit small in quantity. The service was friendly, especially thanks to the blond guy with the tattoos, who was willing to welcome us even though we'd called just half an hour before 10:00 PM. We have nothing to complain about the service.
