12/03/2026: We stopped here for lunch and were greeted warmly. We only wanted something light and the hostess smiled and said, "Absolutely, Aperitivo!" We looked over the menu and were invited to come to the counter to select the meat for our spiedini. The atmosphere is very casual, but this place offers some very serious steaks! Loved the decor and the service was exceptional.

07/03/2026: An extraordinary experience! We followed the good reviews and reserved a table via WhatsApp what was super easy. But as we came in off-season it wasn’t needed as we had the whole restaurant all for ourselves. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Menu was available printed without pictures or online with pictures. After a quick chat with the chef we decided to go for a princess cut, the salad with like 1.000.000 possibilities to create and potatoes. Getting the meat served was some of a kind and you have to experience it on yourself. One star less it is was somehow weird to go next door into another restaurant which was part of the group to pay. Still a great place!!

03/07/2026: An unforgettable evening in the heart of Rome. Everything, from the quality of the meat served on clean white plates to the meticulously presented desserts, was impeccable. The dessert I ordered was decorated with extreme care: a slice of fresh strawberry, two segments of dried orange, and a fragrant cinnamon stick. It's rare to find such attention to detail in such a centrally located restaurant. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

16/12/2025: We had a Florentine steak, a delight! I've never had such tender and flavorful meat, accompanied by baked potatoes and artichokes—nothing to say except that they were exquisite. Not to mention the desserts, delicious. Even though the place is small, we had our privacy. The owner was friendly and kind. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

26/11/2025: LUCIDO HAS ITS VALUE! (and its price) Dinner for 2 friends, wanting to relax, and excellent food: and we succeeded! ATMOSPHERE Welcoming, well-prepared, very intimate, with very few tables (maybe 5/7 in total, I think). Perfect for listening to the flavors rather than your neighbors (as often happens, unfortunately!). Small and quiet. FOOD Normal appetizers, at least the crostini, but good quantity. Truly EXCELLENT meat, and prepared with Exceptional Love. PURE RAW MATERIALS, DEDICATION, AND PREPARATION. FINISHING: DESSERTS + LIQUORS Good portion and presentation, average. Mixed liquor tastings: DIVINE Superior quality products, even in the spirits. Moreover, expertly explained to fully appreciate them. WINE The selection by the glass isn't huge, but that's fine. What I think could be improved are the prices per glass. €7, €8, and even €18 for a glass seem excessive for someone who wants to have just one glass! DETAILS TO KNOW (and appreciate) 1. Serve the (empty) plates by cleaning them elegantly beforehand; I've only seen that in movies. 2. A meat thermometer: Another Pro. 3. Letting the empty plate on which you serve the meat sit on the stone fireplace, so that it retains as much heat as possible, seemed exceptional to me. The "red" lamp is common, but "warming the plate" to avoid a thermal shock seems like a detail not appreciated by many. 4. For the first time in history, when I asked for just 1 glass of wine, they left the (unopened) bottle of the corresponding wine on the table so I could actually see what I was enjoying... It's never happened to me! I rarely drink just 1 glass, it's true! ; ) 5. Absolute transparency when choosing to pay in cash or with card: that is, no fuss or discounts. The price is there, period. And I think it's fair. SUMMARY: That's all that happened... And if you've read this far, I'm sure you'll come prepared. It seems clear to me that this isn't a place for birthday parties with large tables, or for young people wanting to party. But finally, it's a SPACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FEEL GOOD AND ENJOY THEIR QUALITY, WELL-PREPARED FOOD. Of course, with the associated prices, it's always good to be aware of that! ENJOY !

I'm taking away from this weekend in Cortona beautiful memories, flavors, and images, including this place. I can't help but mention the ladies in the dining room. 15/07/2026: Very nice lovely traditional Italian restaurant. The service is extremely friendly and quite fast. The food is very good, of high quality and well presented. The price of the food is very reasonable.

28/03/2026: Honest review: FLORENTINE STEAK SHOULD NOT BE SERVED PRE-CUT. Even though they brought us a grill to keep the dish warm, it was COLD. This happens because it's cut before being served at the table. Consequently, it loses juices and heat, and the "experience" doesn't reflect the quality (if there is any...). The chef should know these things... We ordered the Piedmontese Ox menu, and I quite liked the rest, but I can't say the same about the Florentine steak... it's a premium cut, and you have to be careful how it's served. Also, be careful with the bill: when paying with the POS, the gentleman with gray/white hair entered a certain amount first (the payment didn't go through the first time) and then, on the second attempt, entered the correct amount. I only noticed it afterwards, but I don't think it was a mistake... The prices are fair, but the details that make the difference need to be fixed. Would I go back? Unfortunately, not...

Bisteccheria del Vaticano was a completely accidental discovery during a special day spent with our mother for her birthday in and around Forte dei Marmi... and it ended up becoming the most beautiful memory of the day. We're not locals, we didn't know the restaurant, and we went in almost by instinct. As soon as we arrived, however, we immediately sensed something rare: that authentic welcome that is increasingly difficult to find these days. Andrea and the entire staff made us feel truly welcomed, with a sincere, unpretentious kindness, built on attention, warmth, and professionalism. The quality of the food left us speechless. Exceptional meat, authentic flavors, carefully selected ingredients cooked with respect. Each dish exudes passion, experience, and love for this work. But what truly makes this place special is the soul that permeates within. We felt good. And when you leave a restaurant with that feeling of lighthearted happiness, it means you haven't just eaten well: you've had an experience. It'll be one of those places we'll recommend to all our friends and anyone who wants to discover something authentic in this area. We were truly delighted. Congratulations to Andrea and the entire staff. Places like this deserve to last forever.

11/06/2026: The restaurant is famous for its trucks, ample parking, showers, polite and professional staff, and traditional Tuscan cuisine, well-prepared and prepared with care. It's a shame about the very insistent and rude parking attendant who demands a tip. Tips should be earned, not asked for.
