14/01/2025: I'm torn about the review of this hotel. It certainly wasn't the best on our Alpe-Adria tour... and there weren't any more options in Chiusaforte... but the combination of the owner's warmth and the quality of the breakfast and dinner was simply fantastic...

14/04/2025: Really good value. Not the best I’ve had but it was fast and tasty. Kind service. Clean. They have horse steak and beef. Got the horse steak and beef tartare. Both solid but probably 7-8/10 for taste due to technique and seasoning. Sides were tasty.

13/04/2025: An excellent idea for those who decide to eat a hot dish on the fly, very good and with a very organized service! Low prices! It's a shame not to be able to choose everything that their meat display offers and consume it on the spot!

06/03/2025: Enoteca del Lazio con i miei capi e un fornitore. Pochi tavoli ma tutti pieni: la specialità è la carne, e qui abbiamo potuto effettivamente goderci una sana dose di ferro e proteine. Io in particolare ho preso un filetto Uruguay davvero tenero con sopra sale rosa dell'Himalaya. Sono stato anche fortunato per il contorno, patate alla contadina con la buccia e fritte davvero gustosissime, tra l'altro molto abbondanti. Un calice di vino rosso consigliato dal sommelier. Per concludere un dolcetto, io il tartufo al pistacchio, non male ma le cheesecake, tipo quella al caramello salato preso dal mio capo. Prezzo totale 31€ a testa! Che dire, consigliatissimo!

26/03/2025: I stopped for lunch a few days ago and I have to say I was treated very well considering the time I arrived which was almost 2pm. They served me quickly and I would say the food was good quality.

14/03/2025: My girlfriend and I went to lunch today around 2pm, we were welcomed and sat near the fireplace, on a rainy day. We start with 2 appetizers, Chianina meatballs and parmigiana. I'll tell you right away that the meatball sauce drove me crazy! You could feel that it had been cooked for hours, inside it gave off a completely typical flavor of the homemade sauce made by grandmothers in the 90s, not to mention the fried meatball, and that inside it had a lot of flavor of quality meat!. The parmigiana melted in the mouth, we took 2 appetizers which already made us understand the quality of the chosen restaurant. 2 first courses: mixed pasta, potatoes and provola, linguine with Porcini mushrooms and black truffle (my girlfriend would have preferred the risotto with Porcini mushrooms, but they couldn't do it, it was a dish suitable for 2 people, too bad) The potatoes and provola were one of the best I've ever eaten, creamy and tasty. I didn't try the linguine but my girlfriend devoured it and in the meantime she kept telling me how good it was! Undecided between dessert and tartare, we chose the latter and I was fully satisfied, fresh, with a sweet note of lemon, which didn't spoil anything but rather highlighted the freshness of the dish itself, simple but top quality! I recommend this restaurant to everyone, trust me it deserves it, look at the photos!

15/02/2025: Literally attacked by the waiter who, as soon as we sat down, started filling us with food, so much so that we started to think it was a fixed menu restaurant, but it wasn't at all. We paid for everything and how, meat sold by the pound not weighed in front of the customer. A chaotic place full of children, it was recommended to us and we were disappointed. The three stars go for the Decent quality of food and for the Waitress help attentive to service.

15/03/2025: The quality of the meat and every other product is of a high standard, the service is excellent, the only problem is that the place is too noisy.

23/03/2025: The owner should always show the cut of meat BEFORE serving it. Even if it wasn't Fiorentina, they wouldn't leave the kitchen already cut. The risk? That there is no fillet. The plating is certainly very attractive but: 1) if I order a Florentine steak and it arrives already cut as if it were a steak, I have no way of confirming whether the fillet is there or not. Of course, the meat around the bone is present but I don't know if it really comes from that cut or not. I attach photos. 3) the total amount for the table was not communicated to us but only the cost of 50 euros per person. Not very serious, I won't be back unfortunately

23/03/2025: Il titolare dovrebbe sempre far vedere il taglio di carne PRIMA di servirlo. Se anche non fosse la Fiorentina, non si fa uscire dalla cucina già tagliata. Il rischio? Che non ci sia il filetto. Impiattamento sicuramente molto accattivante ma: 1) se ordino una fiorentina e mi arriva già tagliata come se fosse appunto una tagliata, io non ho alcun modo di confermare se il filetto c’è o non c’è (al gusto non mi è parso). Certo, la carne intorno all’osso è presente ma non so se venga davvero da quel taglio o no. Allego foto. 2) il totale del tavolo non ci è stato comunicato ma solo il costo di 50 euro a persona. Poca serietà, non tornerò purtroppo

21/03/2025: I don't know why I haven't left a review before, but the guys really deserve 5 stars. I've been coming here for years and the quality is always excellent, every dinner is impeccable. Even tonight with my family we spent a wonderful evening thanks to the atmosphere and the amazing food that never disappoints! A hidden certainty in the middle of the pine forest!

05/03/2025: Returning from the visit to Castello di Bard we stopped in this restaurant for lunch. The place appears tidy and clean but the furnishings are those of an eighties pub and would need to be modernised. We ate an excellent platter of cured meats and cheese, a plate of gorgonzola gnocchi, as good as the Valdostana to follow. The waitress was friendly, the bill was normal.

24/02/2025: Went at the end of February 2025 on a Saturday evening, nice pizzeria and place, friendly and kind managers. Truly exceptional fondue pizza, if I have to find one criticism, the over 45 minute wait for 4 pizzas was a bit too long, given that the place was not excessively full. But the taste of the pizza made the wait worth it. And excellent choice of records on display 😉
