03/03/2026: An exceptional celebration of beef! Your host, Dario, delivers entertainment along with his skill and passion for a well cooked meal from start to finish. The set menu lunch is an experience a foodie should experience at least once in their lifetime. Definitely worth the out of the way trip to his hometown. TIP: Parking lot is on the left before you get into the city and had a back door entrance into the restaurant. No parking on the street or close to the front of the restaurant.

14/12/2025: Really nice place... the food neither good nor bad... we took the set menu of meat and vegetarian... I expected more from what I had heard... the vegetarian lasagna was good!

20/02/2026: We're still talking about this meal. We were welcomed with the best sangria I've ever had (we ordered a whole liter with dinner). Do yourself a favor and order the trio of empanadas appetizer. We had 2 different cuts of steak and both were incredible. Make sure you add Don Juan to your Milan visit.

18/02/2026: A truly perfect Valentine's Day dinner at Don Juan. The atmosphere was romantic and welcoming, and the staff was kind and attentive. We were greeted with excellent sangria before being escorted to our table by the manager, who also recommended an excellent Argentine wine. The empanadas were delicious as an appetizer, and for the main course, the lomo entero was exceptional: tender and flavorful. To finish, a dulce de leche dessert and an interesting yerba mate liqueur. Highly recommended for a special evening, we'll definitely be back!

22/02/2026: Excellent burgers, which however do not give you the feeling of fast food, but more of a home-made food, the meat and the ribs are also good, we spent 2, 22 euros each with a burger, a bottle of water, a fried chicken appetizer and a cheesecake so I would also say good value for money.

22/01/2026: Everything was delicious; the meat was cooked to perfection, so tasty you could cut it with a breadstick, and the bombette were amazing. The side dishes were delicious, the place was clean and quaint, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Try it and believe it.

12/02/2026: We visited Giacuda Braceria in Palo del Colle and had a truly excellent experience. We started with a selection of spectacular raw fish: the freshest beef carpaccio topped with arugula, parmesan shavings, and a drizzle of olive oil that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. Tender and superior quality. The pancetta served with warm crostini was also excellent, a simple yet perfectly executed combination. We then moved on to the grill... and that's where it really takes things to the next level. Mixed cuts masterfully cooked, juicy, tender meat with that light crust that only a well-done grill can provide. Precise cooking, intense flavor, and top-quality ingredients. A side dish of roasted potatoes, golden on the outside and soft on the inside, well-seasoned and not at all greasy. The involtini were also worthy of applause, flavorful and well-balanced. Welcoming place, warm atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. Absolutely fair value for what you get. For those who love authentic grilled meat in the area, this is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

11/03/2026: What a wonderful place to eat at the outdoor tables while gazing out the window at the stunning surrounding landscape. As they indicate, it's not a restaurant, but their offerings include a wide variety of dishes to please all palates. The charming interior is decorated with jerseys, sports items, and photos, making it clear that it's a popular spot for athletes. An inn for large groups and families.

04/03/2026: I went for lunch for work without checking the standard (which is medium-high) first, but they were courteous and attentive in treating me appropriately. It's a charming place and the food is excellent.

02/03/2026: We visited the place upon recommendation and since we came in the late evening from the south, driving by some steep roads, we were very sceptic about what to expect. But once we entered the trattoria, all the doubts simply vanished. The service was great, the food was exceptional and we left the place with "underpromise and overdeliver" written all over our smiles. Definitely a place to visit again!

14/02/2026: What can I say... super good pizza! 😍 The food at Pizzeria La Capricciosa in Donnas is truly delicious: light dough and super fresh ingredients. You can really taste the quality! The place is welcoming and the staff is incredibly friendly, they make you feel right at home. Fast service and fair prices. I'll definitely be back, highly recommended! 🍕✨

09/03/2026: We had booked at La Capannina, but apparently the trip included a surprise stop. We arrived, were greeted with a mimosa for Women's Day (a much appreciated gesture, it must be said) and were shown to a table on the terrace. All was well... until, when it came time to order, we discovered we were sitting at the restaurant next door, La Tramonteria. We mentioned this to the waiter, who calmly explained that "it's the same management" and that we could also order dishes from the other restaurant. A rather... flexible concept of culinary boundaries. From there, the real gastronomic experience begins, so to speak. I ordered a cockerel alla diavola with a side of mixed vegetables: the zucchini arrived decidedly sour, the eggplant completely raw, and... the potatoes disappeared into thin air. I had to ask for them; they were probably taking a scenic tour of the kitchen. Meanwhile, my sister received a skewer that to call rare would be a compliment: completely raw. It was brought back to the kitchen not once, not twice, but three times. Finally, it returns to the table... still on the same skewer, but with a few pieces of meat mysteriously missing along the way. Perhaps evaporated. In short, you walk in thinking you're going to one restaurant and end up at another, order a dish, and they deliver a "creative" version of it. A decidedly unusual experience. On a positive note: at least they didn't charge us for the skewer. On a less positive note: they tried to charge €20 for the chicken instead of the indicated €15. Perhaps it, too, was on a tour between the two restaurants and its price went up in the meantime. What can I say... a curious, almost adventurous experience. But if you book at one place, be prepared for the possibility of dining at the other.
