10/04/2026: It might be hit and miss. Our food was not good. Irish stew and veal tourine. Seemed to be the same dish upside down, same meat and the potatoes seemed like instant. No flavor gravy.

The chef stops by for the obligatory small talk but shows no genuine attention or interest in the customer. So, that can be omitted. The service is experienced but tip-driven. We ate the set menu with wine pairings. We enjoyed the dishes; each one is memorable. The other guests were also tourists; that is the business model. This restaurant is highly recommended.

17/03/2026: Perfect dinner! They gave us the option of choosing two different tasting menus (which isn't usually possible), allowing us to sample almost every dish on the menu. The vegetarian menu was top-notch, not a compromise for those who don't eat meat or fish. I dream about the spaghetti with roasted garlic and truffle cream! I was worried it would be a "difficult" cuisine, too complex to appreciate even for less experienced palates, but instead it was a great discovery. Last but not least, you can tell the management is female, thanks to the many small but precious details that made me appreciate this experience even more. Thank you! Try it, you won't regret it.

The location is super convenient, especially if you’re visiting the nearby attractions. The place has a relaxed, casual vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. The pizza was very tasty with a nice thin crust, and the pasta was fresh and full of flavor. Service was friendly and quick, even though it was quite busy. Prices are reasonable for the area, which is always a plus in Rome. Overall, a solid spot if you’re looking for good food without overcomplicating things. Would definitely come back.

I'll start with the positives: the staff is very fast and all the waiters are extremely courteous. The view is truly beautiful. From the elevated position, you can see the lake. The terrace is spacious and they allow you to eat outside as soon as the temperatures are acceptable, which isn't always a given. The prices are fair and the menu is varied. We only tried the pizza, which, honestly, I didn't like. I found it bland; the tomato and mozzarella weren't anything special, but the oregano was delicious. I've certainly had worse, but also better. I'd recommend trying the rest of the menu; some dishes looked inviting. Prices are in CHF, but if you pay by card, the charge is in euros, obviously with an exchange rate markup. The clientele is made up of many smokers, who, oblivious to the tables next to them, light up one cigarette after another. I understand that it's outside, but given the space, maybe they could set aside one area for smokers and another for children or non-smokers.

We spoke several times by phone to plan the menu and cake selection. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly, once again with extreme kindness and helpfulness. The lunch, which included appetizers, first courses, and second courses, was superb, beautifully presented, and delicious and authentic. The cake, created by the restaurant's chef, was also up to par with the rest of the menu: delicious and light. The elegant and refined location is surrounded by a citrus grove, which provides a stunning backdrop; everything is perfect. I highly recommend it, both for a special occasion and for a relaxing lunch or dinner!

I was skeptical, so to make my daughter happy, I ordered it. Well, we've been celiac for over a decade, and we've realized that until now, all we've been given is rubbish (I travel a lot and to many parts of Italy). The dough is leavened divinely. Soft yet crispy in the right places. Excellent toppings. I hope to return to Messina soon with my son (who also has celiac disease) to make him eat it!!! We spent a whole day here with my family and would definitely love to return for more. The food was a feast for the eyes and the palate; everything was carefully prepared, using high-quality ingredients, and above all, a combination of flavors that will take you on a journey. The appetizer of artichoke, artichoke cream, and parmesan cream was my favorite, but all the other dishes were truly delicious. The day was made perfect thanks to Giada's impeccable service: kind, attentive, and always available with a smile!

12/04/2026: I only used the spa: although it was very aesthetic and the staff were extremely friendly, I found the experience to be truly negative, as even the changing rooms were overcrowded and made the space feel claustrophobic. The spa is small, and there were far too many of us sharing the emotional showers, whirlpool (located only in one corner of the pool), and sauna. Furthermore, the courtesy kit with terrycloth slippers is definitely not practical for that environment. The relaxation area with herbal tea room on the upper floor could use some improvement, as the selection is truly minimal and the herbal teas seemed tasteless (I specifically chose one with ginger), and there were also several bedbugs keeping us company (we are in the countryside, after all). What can I say? It's an experience I wouldn't repeat, even though the location is very beautiful overall.

The best moment came at the end of the evening, when the staff organized a wonderful surprise for the birthday girl who was turning 18.
