We stayed in Bologna for a few days and decided to visit this restaurant twice! The food, service and atmosphere were faultless. I highly recommend the soufflé and the tiramisu!

We returned to this restaurant after a good experience in 2024. We asked the staff, since it was set outside with a heater on. The waiter said yes, but inside they refused because there were only a few people on hand. There were only three of us, but that wasn't a problem.
We had an appetizer of tigelle and parmesan, both excellent, and then waited an hour for the tortellini in broth. There were remnants of other pasta underneath, bucatini, which aren't even on the menu, and the capon broth was really very salty.
Not tasty, but salty.
I was annoyed when we said no to dessert, but we asked for coffees, which never arrived, and after another long wait, we went to the bar to have ours.
Unfortunately, being in business, I know the customer isn't always right, on the contrary, but there are some precautions that ensure a place isn't an end in itself, but a place worth revisiting.
The first time it was like that, this time we were definitely not encouraged to return.

A very centrally located restaurant, easy to get to, with a lovely, quiet, and welcoming atmosphere. The tortellini with parmesan cream are AMAZING, and the cotoletta alla bolognese is also worthy of praise. The desserts are equally outstanding. The price is proportionate to the quality of the cuisine.
The perfect place to leave Bologna with a wonderful memory, especially a culinary one. 🤩

I had really high expectations for this restaurant, and I was somewhat disappointed. Starting with the positives: the tortellini in broth were delicious, and I really appreciated the liquor list, which had a carefully selected selection unlike any other in this price range. I didn't, however, particularly enjoy the cotoletta alla bolognese; it was very tasty on the outside, but the meat inside was a bit dry. The service was a bit stilted, but not without its glitches (nothing major, in any case). I found the price to be fair for the quality of the ingredients and the location, but a bit high for my experience.

We absolutely loved this restaurant, so much so that we ate there twice during our five-night stay in Bologna. Every single member of their wait staff was warm and personable. The interior is lively but still romantic. The food was brilliant. On or first dinner, we had the roasted rabbit, and it was one of our favorite meals of all time. The rabbit itself was perfectly prepared, but the accompanying side dishes were equally fantastic. The pickled vegetables were a surprising treat. Our second dinner was also wonderful, and we were touched that our server took the time to share some restaurant recommendations for Torino, the next stop on our trip. We loved Bologna, and this will be our first stop on any return visit.

The place is very well-kept, the food is good and high-quality. The service was also excellent, attentive and friendly.

We had lunch at Vicolo Colombina and were truly impressed. In Bologna, it's hard to stand out, especially when it comes to traditional cuisine, but this restaurant managed to leave us speechless.
The quality of the food is exceptional: every dish was carefully crafted, authentic, yet surprising. The balance and harmony of flavors were evident in every course, with well-defined flavors that complemented each other without ever overpowering each other. You could sense the attention, technique, and great sensitivity in the kitchen.
Special praise goes to the staff, who made the experience even more memorable. Vittoria in particular, young but incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and passionate. She served us with professionalism and warmth, making us feel at home and truly pampered, not only in terms of taste but also in the atmosphere. We sincerely believe she has a great future ahead of her.
Compliments also to the chef, young but already endowed with enormous talent and personality, capable of respecting tradition without making it obvious.
An experience we will cherish forever. We will definitely return.
