26/06/2025: Family-run pizzeria, very good pizzas, I recommend the Pescarese but be careful with the chilli pepper because it's really a fire-eating pizza, in winter it's great but in summer I start to sweat, just ask to put less than expected 🤣

22/09/2025: Big portion size. Value for money was great. Tasty, but unfortunately my spaghetti alle vongole was so salty it was almost not eatable.

05/09/2025: 3-star environment, super family atmosphere, the stars should double... Cristiano and his family, along with their Haitian collaborators, make you feel better than a standard family... You have to try it again and again... Not to mention the yellow gold (olive oil/DOC/DOPG) Don't worry, we speak Abruzzese... For those who want it. For those who don't, it's =• I confirm... Cristiano and family... simply genuine! You have to try it!

25/10/2025: August 2024, I book with TheFork. We go to the restaurant and sit in a tiny outdoor gazebo; if we moved our chairs, we would have fallen to the floor. They didn't have enough pizzas—I think four, for the six of us. My pizza (which they kindly offered me) had yellow cherry tomatoes; it looked like one of those frozen pizzas from the worst discount stores. The rest of the food left much to be desired. I'm leaving a negative review on TheFork, which I should delete as "no show up." I noticed it by chance a short while ago. Too bad I have payment tracking, having paid by debit card. Awful experience.

25/10/2025: The restaurant is small, intimate, clean, and tidy, a bit cramped and unsuitable for large tables, but better suited for 2-4 diners. Jacopo is an excellent chef who offers flavorful and harmonious dishes, based on fresh, high-quality ingredients, and prepared to order. This has the advantage of always ensuring tasty, well-cooked food, but the downside is that it requires longer-than-average wait times, especially when the restaurant is crowded (we're talking about a dozen seats, maximum). Therefore, I recommend visiting Lucaneria only when you're not in a hurry, but rather consider this an opportunity to enjoy the cuisine in peace. Moving on to ratings and reviews, we tried: pappardelle with white ragù and mushrooms, rating: 9- (I would have preferred a slightly thinner pasta shape when there's no tomato sauce, but still really good); guancia al vino rosso, rating: 9.5 (excellent); Baked pork ribs, 8.5 (the heat was a tad too high for browning, but the meat was tender and flavorful). We'll definitely be back, but we won't rush it.

07/10/2025: They reopened after Concezio's passing. His wife is still in the kitchen. A new menu has been created, offering two fixed-course options of meat and cod, in addition to the same à la carte dishes. The atmosphere has remained the same as before. The cod menu was chosen. The appetizers didn't taste like cod, while the sagne and chickpeas in white sauce and linguine with tomato sauce were just okay. The cod and peppers, with roasted peppers and sweet peppers from Altino, were excellent. I'll be back for the goat.

30/09/2025: A family atmosphere, a cabin surrounded by greenery, and a large fireplace always lit to provide warmth and comfort (...necessary for cooking), make this trattoria unique. Traditional home-cooked cuisine. Matteo, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Concezio, is a young, well-mannered, attentive man who truly knows how to tempt his guests. Typical Abruzzo food, homemade pasta, grilled meats. Everything is very good, although the real specialty is the cod-based cuisine (linguine with cod sauce, cod & potatoes, roasted cod). Excellent!

18/08/2025: I was very surprised by the location, which is beautiful. The service is high quality. The dishes are delicious. You can see that they put a lot of effort into the ingredients. I ate really well. A restaurant unlike any other in the area. I will definitely return.

31/05/2025: We were on holiday in Abruzzo, we were looking for a place on the way back from the hermitage and we came across this one. I would say it was a pleasant surprise, we ordered purple potato gnocchi, cod cream and sweet pepper powder and a roast lamb with potatoes, artichoke and mint and finally their strong dessert. We left very satisfied and also full. Abundant and gourmet dishes. I wish them the success they deserve I highly recommend 😋

12/10/2025: This bar is very popular with workers, builders, law enforcement, and people just passing by, and who knows why, 90% of them are men...! 🤔🤔 The atmosphere is clean and decent, with the usual breakfast pastries, but I have no idea if there's any food available.

21/06/2025: For a gas station it's an ok restaurant. For a restaurant, it's... a gas station. But you can catch your breath, eat something and drink something. Or, simply, have a coffee.

15/03/2025: Horrifying experience to say the least. Before writing my review I must make a necessary premise, we took a risk by taking the pizza..... Let's start with the appetizer, mixed fried food, made up of chips, nuggets, and other appetizers, very well the level of frying was decent, it's a shame that the nuggets were completely raw inside......but this could be a pure accident, now comes the good part. We dare to order two margherita pizzas and a NICO pizza. Perfect, 15 minutes after the starter arrived the pizzas arrived, unfortunately. Frozen supermarket pizzas, served on an IKEA plastic tray, with baking paper attached! I don't remember reading on the menu that the pizzas were frozen.... it could also be my fault, but I wouldn't swear to it! Pizzas are probably not their strong point, probably also mixed fried food, but it is certain that I will never go back, and I strongly advise against the experience. Very bad.

24/08/2025: Group of about 20 adults. Beautiful location, easy to get to both inside and out, nice looking business. Fixed menu, the same for other groups as well. Appetizers were always missing a portion; after we had to adjust and ask several times, they finally brought the portions all at once. The tagliatelle were good, but a forkful or so per person. Ravioli were the same, but with a very fatty sauce. The mixed roast meat wasn't the best. Overall, the food was poor, but some of the dishes were good. The price was EXCESSIVE, compared to the food, €40 per person.

19/08/2025: Summer Sunday with friends...very nice location, recently renovated and enlarged with some final works still to be done...shame about the thousands of wasps that were flying and moving around the edge of the pool, I would even say quite dangerous in case of allergies to stings...sufficient lunch outside
