All their food was so good! Server was super nice and friendly. Salmon tartar with red onion was really delicious. Rigatoni with scampi was VERY good and we wanted to lick the plate lol

We frequent this restaurant regularly for Sunday lunch, but our last experience was disappointing due to the unprofessionalism of the wait staff. In particular, we noticed a complete lack of enthusiasm and attention from one employee (perhaps on probation?). In such a welcoming place, this lack of enthusiasm is truly out of place. I suggest the owner evaluate the staff more carefully, as the current service doesn't meet the standard we're used to.

Good evening. I'd like to share our experience at this restaurant during Valentine's Day lunch. We arrived around 1:20 PM and left after 3:30 PM. The appetizers were very slow... a shrimp tail appetizer that had to be searched for amidst half a kilo of cherry tomatoes and arugula, a sauté of mussels (very small) and clams with an extremely salty broth that had us drinking water all afternoon, and an octopus appetizer that was just okay. We then ordered two first courses, one with shrimp and the other with clams, which were good, two glasses of wine, two sorbets, and two coffees, which were later served at the counter because they didn't arrive at the table even though the place was empty. During the meal, we asked three different waiters for bread, which arrived when we had almost finished the dish at the table. The bill was €95, a bit steep as well. I thought it would live up to the Positano name. We entered enthusiastically and left a little perplexed... I'm sorry. I hope the owner doesn't take offense, but also uses the less than five-star reviews to improve the service and cuisine. This is the opinion of someone who has spent 20 years in the restaurant business.

Stopped by for a business lunch. The place is certainly beautiful and pleasant, but the food is nothing special. Spaghetti with clams was completely unrelated and cold. The mussel sauté was average. I always give it a second chance.

When we were there in November, the taverna was closed. However, you can stay overnight for free. The beach is great.

Ristorante Positano is one of those places that, every time you return, reminds you why you love authentic seafood. Located on the Pescara seafront, the restaurant enjoys a prime location, with a direct view of the Adriatic and an atmosphere that combines elegance and familiarity: the sound of the waves in the background, the aroma of fresh fish, and attentive, smiling service.
The attention to detail is evident from the first moment. The dining room is bright, tastefully furnished without being overly pretentious, and reflects the typical Amalfi Coast flavor that the restaurant's name evokes. The table setting is neat, simple yet refined, and the staff moves naturally and courteously, always ready to offer advice and make guests feel at ease, offering precise directions on dishes, and always attentive and punctual service.
The cuisine remains the restaurant's true strength. Everything is prepared with quality ingredients and a perfect balance between tradition and flavor. From the seafood crudités, always fresh and carefully presented, to the first courses like spaghetti with clams or seafood chitarra pasta, not to mention the scampi-based dishes like mezza manica and spaghettone—dishes that taste like the real sea, without overpowering anything with unnecessary sauces. The second courses are also worth a mention: the grilled fish is impeccable, as is the fried fish, cooked just right to preserve tenderness and enhance the raw ingredients.
The service is quick, coordinated, and courteous. The staff maintains a familiar yet professional tone, making guests feel welcomed, not simply served. It's clear that there's passion and consistency here: each visit confirms the previous one, without a drop in quality or attention.
The quality-price ratio is fair, especially considering the location and the freshness of the ingredients. The well-constructed wine list also offers choices to complement every dish, with a predominance of labels from Abruzzo and Campania, perfect for pairing with seafood.
In short: Ristorante Positano is a must-visit for those seeking a genuine, consistent, and high-quality seafood experience in Pescara. It's rare to find places that maintain the same level of quality and friendliness over time, but here it happens. A place to keep in mind, and above all, one to return to.

A dinner with friends that impressed me with its delicacies and good wine. The owner, Francoise, was always there for the occasion, a true leader for her staff. I highly recommend it.
