14/04/2026: Pizzeria near the Pescara hospital. It's primarily a takeout restaurant, but there are tables available for dine-in. The pizzas and panzerotti are delicious. They also offer set menus. You can have a good lunch or dinner for a small fee.

20/02/2026: Food, service, quality and price totally aligned

19/02/2026: We went to this place after dinner to celebrate and only asked for something to snack on with our drinks. The receipt, in fact, states "aperitivo tanto per..." (just for..."), so we were served taralli and pretzels, which we thought was absolutely correct. The problem is that the waiter added three portions of fries and one arancini each to our order, without us asking for them. When the fries arrived, I immediately went to tell him not to bring anything else, because we were there for an after-dinner drink, NOT FOR DINNER, but I was told that the arancini would arrive anyway because they were already cooking. I stated that we didn't want them, but was told they couldn't remove them from the order. When paying, the receipt clearly stated "3 arancini" and "3 fries," dishes we never ordered! When I explained the situation, I was told that this is what "tasting" means to them and that perhaps the waiter should have mentioned it earlier. I find this behavior unfair and lacking transparency: it's unacceptable to be charged for dishes you didn't request or agree to. A negative experience that ruined what was supposed to be a festive evening.

07/04/2026: A down-to-earth place, but a bit unwelcoming. The meat dishes were good, the crostini were imaginative, but the condiments arrived cold—a shame! I was asked to have the tagliata cooked (obviously, I replied "blood"), but it arrived well done... the arrosticini, on the other hand, were good and well received. The tomatoes served with the meat were delicious.

06/01/2026: Everything was beautiful and super cozy. I had kindly asked for a dessert in the room because it was my boyfriend's birthday, and they obliged. 😍 The only thing I'm saying is that the double bed, with two single beds pushed together, is a bit uncomfortable; one of them ends up in the middle of the bed if it moves too much. 😂 I'd add a Smart TV, but otherwise, everything was beautiful. The mountain view was wonderful, it was a shame to leave.

01/01/2026: The hotel is in a great location, and although it's truly dated—especially the rooms—it has everything you need. The staff, especially the owner, is very friendly and helpful. There are a few things we didn't like: * Two nights for two with breakfast and New Year's Eve dinner cost a whopping €650 (quite a lot for a 3-star hotel), but the sauna and Turkish bath are available for a fee (€30 per person!). * Even on January 1st, you have to vacate your room by 10:30 (no flexibility for those who attended the New Year's Eve dinner). * At New Year's Eve dinner, some dishes arrived cold, which is understandable with so many people, but still a shame.

26/06/2026: Very nice place, but we made the mistake of buying this realistic fruit, which happened to be the only one without a price displayed... €6 a piece! Definitely overpriced for what was on offer.

25/04/2026: I went to this bar with some friends to hang out. The staff is friendly and attentive to customer requests. The wait time was minimal, and the place was well-kept and clean. We had really good coffees, delicious waffles, and pancakes 😋 We'll definitely be back!

08/04/2026: Recommended! Exceptional bar. The place is well-located and has a small outdoor terrace, half covered and half open. The waiter, who is also the owner, was friendly and helpful. The cappuccino and cappuccino were excellent. We were also offered some equally delicious pastries from the small bakery. Fair value for money. Excellent work!

19/05/2026: The pizzas are excellent, as is the rest. They were welcoming and positive throughout the evening. Reasonable prices and good service. If you're in the area, definitely book! 100%!

06/07/2026: I'll start by saying that the staff was super helpful, but we ordered food and the menu written on the blackboard in the center of the restaurant had a price listed, but when we went to pay they significantly increased the prices for the courses, and honestly, I was disappointed.

03/07/2026: Unfortunately, it's impossible to give less than one star, otherwise I would. Terrible place, dirty and sloppy. The outdoor sofas where we sat for an aperitif were not only extremely uncomfortable but also full of sand. The small table/ottoman that they supposedly used to hold food and drinks was full of sand and ants and had two large dirt stains. Terrible, unprepared, and rude waiters. When we asked for the available aperitifs, they not only didn't know what to say but were even mocking us. We can't comment on the food; we didn't have time to order anything because we got up and left. We've never been to such a run-down place on the Pescara Riviera in years. Luckily, a few hundred meters toward the center, we found a beach club with a completely different style of pool where we enjoyed a fantastic aperitif. Never again will we go to this place, not even for dinner!

10/04/2026: An extremely negative experience, both from a liability and hospitality perspective. I placed an order through Deliveroo that was never delivered. After a very long wait, the rider began providing contradictory information, claiming that the order had been picked up by another courier. When I contacted the restaurant directly, they confirmed that the order had already been delivered to a rider some time ago. At this point, one would expect a minimum level of responsible management of the situation. Instead, the restaurant chose not to take concrete action, simply asking me to cancel the order—an unfair request, as it would have shifted the responsibility onto me as the customer (as confirmed by Deliveroo over the phone). The request was also made in a rude tone... "Now I'll tell you how it works..." What? They've created a new form of hospitality, and I didn't know it... Rudeness? From a liability standpoint, it's clear that the restaurant still has a role in ensuring that the order is correctly handed over to the delivery driver and that the customer isn't left without a solution. From a hospitality standpoint, the experience was even worse: no real assistance, and while I was trying to resolve the issue between them, the driver, and Deliveroo, they closed the restaurant, leaving me without dinner. Service like this demonstrates not only a lack of organization, but above all a complete lack of customer service. Thank you so much for trying to clarify how Deliveroo worked. Next time, though, let's make sure you study more carefully. :)

28/03/2026: Visited this place for lunch. Nice setting. Good food. They also offer alternatives to sushi. Everything is fusion-inspired, different from the usual rolls.

28/06/2026: This is an Italian pizza I want to eat again. Not only the staff but also the customers are friendly to foreigners. The prices are affordable, and the pizzas are made by a pizza master. If I travel to Milan again, I definitely want to visit again. Next time, I’m going to eat two pizzas.

19/04/2026: We chose this restaurant to celebrate our son's baptism last Sunday. The dishes were truly delicious, carefully prepared, and enjoyed by all our guests, making the experience a positive one from a culinary perspective. The charming location, too, is a strong point of the restaurant. Unfortunately, however, the service didn't live up to expectations. The staff proved unprofessional: the dishes were served rather brusquely, almost slammed on the table, and especially some of the girls seemed annoyed and bothered by our simple requests. It's truly a shame, because the quality of the food deserves adequate service. With more attention to the customer, the experience would have been decidedly better. This review is intended to be constructive and help improve the service, because the place deserves it.

17/04/2026: I chose Casa del Gelso for my graduation party and was completely satisfied. Great professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Everything was impeccably organized. Highly recommended!
