21/02/2026: Excellent pizzas but I do not recommend reservations. I was notified in the afternoon and it was 30 minutes late. They were not even notified with the phone number and time left if it wasn't for me who called several times I could have died. Nothing to say and I counter-exchange with his mistake or technical staff. Only a formal apology for those who arrived by phone after I have been going to stock up for years. It will be the last time. I know that my drop is like a drop in the ocean. In the meantime, I want to make my drop heard. I recommend it and it was also on a Friday, not even on a Saturday.

28/06/2026: I traveled in Italy for three weeks, and this was the most delicious meal I had there. They use incredibly fresh seafood sourced from the region, and the staff are so friendly!! I don't usually write reviews, but I am writing this because this restaurant suits Korean palates so perfectly, and I hope it becomes even more famous. In particular, the shrimp salad features a special wine-based sauce that is truly legendary. I highly recommend it!!!

27/07/2026: We ate at this restaurant yesterday, and an unpleasant waitress gave us disapproving looks. I hope it wasn't because we're not Italian. Otherwise, the food was served quickly. We ordered cheeseburgers. The waitress didn't ask us how we wanted our meat cooked.

28/12/2025: So I have very few five star reviews that I've been able to award and I think this was perhaps the easiest five star I've given, and in addition, this is one of only five that I've marked as a favourite for myself. Unconstructively, I have absolutely no notes, the food, the atmosphere, the music, the service was all fantastic. I'm only sad that I don't live nearby. As a brief note on the food; several of the dishes dilived a beautifully robust smoked and charred flavour, but amazingly never overpowered or distracted from the dish and served only to compliment it!

19/08/2026: The food is always good, the place is always clean and tidy. I've been eating here for 8 years now, but this evening one of the waiters, the "head waiter," was rude and impolite, and completely incapable of doing his job. After 8 years of eating here, I've never had any problems. I've always been treated very well and always satisfied with the service and the excellent food. Today, I told the waiter not to mix the gluten-free and gluten-free sushi. He replied, "They're on the same plate, but they're separate." What manners are they? If he doesn't understand a customer's discomfort or problem, or their intolerances, and above all, doesn't know how to listen and respond politely to a customer, then this job isn't for him. I'm sorry for this review, it's a shame because the owner is a wonderful person, but today I'm pissed off.

03/03/2026: Let me start by saying that we've been customers for a long time, and I'm even more indignant about how we were treated on Sunday morning. We ordered a gluten-free baguette, which was half-cooked and not re-ripened like other times. We pointed this out to the waitress at the outside tables, who, annoyed, took it away, saying, "I'll change it for you." She never came back, continued serving all the tables that arrived after us, and didn't even serve us anything, not even our coffees. After 20 minutes, we gave up and left FOREVER.

15/08/2026: We had dinner for two. The staff was friendly and very professional. The wine they recommended was fabulous and paired perfectly with the dishes. Please note that they don't accept off-menu requests to ensure the high quality of the dishes. Excellent seafood restaurant with very interesting options.

10/08/2026: This restaurant has been perceived like a casual dinning place. Very nice and polite service, everything looked developed with a strict attention to details, small portions comparing with other restaurants in Pescara but very nice plating and super tastefull. This is not recommended if you are heavely hungry but this is a place to be if you want to try the experience - fresh and tastefull fish and sea food.

16/02/2026: I was passing by and asked for information, and they recommended this restaurant. We had fish for lunch, which was incredibly fresh. We also had appetizers, which were also seafood-based. A very good, and especially chilled, white wine paired perfectly with the food. The atmosphere was very comfortable, but the only flaw was the lack of a menu, which is truly unfortunate. In the absence of this, however, credit must be given to the waitress, the only one in the entire room. She served about 40 people by herself, and she recommended and described the best dishes in great detail with professionalism and composure. Practically better than the menu, because without her we would never have been able to make an informed choice. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

07/08/2026: I went there on Saturday for dinner with friends and I'll never go back. The appetizers were worse than the last, the risotto was the worst I've ever had. The mussels were just sautéed in water, not even a drop of oil. Those who leave five-star reviews are obviously people who know absolutely nothing about cooking and restaurants.

02/08/2026: It didn't satisfy our palates. Very basic; only the cuttlefish and potatoes were good, the rest was very disappointing.

06/05/2026: We had a truly enjoyable dinner at Casamatta. The food was excellent, with meticulous attention to flavor and presentation, well-thought-out dishes and quality ingredients. Special praise goes to the service, especially to the young woman who served us: she was extremely kind, attentive, and professional. She advised us with great expertise, suggesting the right choices and making small adjustments that made the dinner even more enjoyable. The decor of the restaurant was also very beautiful: thoughtful and welcoming, with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. I also really appreciated the attention to detail, even in the choice of ceramic plates, which were truly unique and perfectly in keeping with the restaurant's style. An absolutely positive experience, highly recommended and definitely worth repeating.

02/05/2026: We made an online reservation for lunch on a holiday, which we'd planned well in advance. Two hours before lunch, we received a cancellation message. As a result, we had to frantically search for a place on the holiday: there was no room anywhere, the whole day went awry, and in the end, we didn't have lunch because the best places were fully booked. As it turned out, the restaurant was closed that day, while its beachside location was open. I have to be honest: if lunch here costs 100–150 euros per person, like in the best restaurants in the capital, this is an unacceptable level of service and customer care. We've been to this restaurant many times, the food is good, but street food service is absolutely out of line with these prices.

19/04/2026: We chose this restaurant to celebrate our son's baptism last Sunday. The dishes were truly delicious, carefully prepared, and enjoyed by all our guests, making the experience a positive one from a culinary perspective. The charming location, too, is a strong point of the restaurant. Unfortunately, however, the service didn't live up to expectations. The staff proved unprofessional: the dishes were served rather brusquely, almost slammed on the table, and especially some of the girls seemed annoyed and bothered by our simple requests. It's truly a shame, because the quality of the food deserves adequate service. With more attention to the customer, the experience would have been decidedly better. This review is intended to be constructive and help improve the service, because the place deserves it.

17/04/2026: I chose Casa del Gelso for my graduation party and was completely satisfied. Great professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Everything was impeccably organized. Highly recommended!
