26/01/2026: I highly recommend Bar Centrale!!! Excellent breakfast both mornings of my stay in Penne. Very kind, professional, and empathetic staff. Fast and well-prepared service. Constantly clean and hygienic. Good value for money. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

29/11/2025: New management at Penne's historic Bar Centrale. The changes Dante, the new manager, is making are already evident. But I'm sure the best is yet to come. In the meantime...applause!

04/09/2025: Nice restaurant I went to eat the pecorino cheese called Callare, delicious. I recommend it to everyone. Plus, the maltagliati with chickpeas and pancetta was excellent.

21/01/2026: I don't like giving negative reviews, but this place definitely deserves it. Two of us arrived; my partner can't eat tomato, but we thought, "Won't that be a problem, given the wide selection on the menu?" Once we'd made our choice, to our surprise, we were told they'd only be making 4 or 5 dishes from the entire menu that day. So, it wasn't possible to make two ravioli—one with tomato and one with mushrooms—since they already had the sauces ready, boiling 10 ravioli together and then seasoning them differently would probably have been too much effort for them. In any case, both the ravioli and the gnocchi arrived after 5 minutes, undercooked because they were still raw and cold inside, and the sauce was completely separate from the pasta. Within 15 minutes, we were at the cash register, and since no one was there anyway, the rude owner even teased us, saying "See you next time." A totally negative experience, one to forget.

31/10/2025: Unfortunately I can't give zero stars but I would. Poor service and employees.

28/10/2025: Much worse. At 10 pm they start taking everything off your table even if you haven't finished. I was finishing the last rolls while everyone else had their plates and glasses taken away with wine still inside. I paid for the wine off the menu. You have to leave by 10:30 pm even if you haven't finished. The waiters look at you suspiciously and are in a hurry. I don't recommend it and I won't be going back.

31/08/2025: Very good pizza. Well-cooked and crispy. It's a shame the edges were a bit burnt. The place has a good layout, but the service is definitely not up to par. The prices, in my opinion, are high considering it's located in Roccamorice, especially the desserts.

03/07/2025: Ho dato 5 stelle per la pizza, ma.....Mi sono fermata per prendere una pizza (non è la prima volta) perché da napoletana doc e anche celiaca non è facile per me trovare una pizza veramente, ma veramente buona!!! Giusta altezza, cottura, condimento, perfetta, direi!!! E allora perché quel "ma"???? Per il prezzo, veramente esagerato per me!! Pagare una pizza da asporto, senza sevizio, senza sedersi al tavolo, senza bevande, 13 € mi sembra follia. "E aumentato tutto", dicono....ma gli stipendi e le pensioni, no!!!! Certo non è colpa del titolare , ma penso che si possa venire anche incontro alle persone! Anche perché Roccamorice è bellissima, ma non credo sia frequentata da milionari, o almeno io non lo sono. Quindi un pò un boccone amaro.....

19/02/2026: We went to this place after dinner to celebrate and only asked for something to snack on with our drinks. The receipt, in fact, states "aperitivo tanto per..." (just for..."), so we were served taralli and pretzels, which we thought was absolutely correct. The problem is that the waiter added three portions of fries and one arancini each to our order, without us asking for them. When the fries arrived, I immediately went to tell him not to bring anything else, because we were there for an after-dinner drink, NOT FOR DINNER, but I was told that the arancini would arrive anyway because they were already cooking. I stated that we didn't want them, but was told they couldn't remove them from the order. When paying, the receipt clearly stated "3 arancini" and "3 fries," dishes we never ordered! When I explained the situation, I was told that this is what "tasting" means to them and that perhaps the waiter should have mentioned it earlier. I find this behavior unfair and lacking transparency: it's unacceptable to be charged for dishes you didn't request or agree to. A negative experience that ruined what was supposed to be a festive evening.

08/02/2026: The best urban trattoria within a 20 km radius of Pescara's city center, just a 10-minute walk from Piazza Muzii. For €25, we left feeling completely stuffed after a delectable array of typical Abruzzo appetizers (pallotte + cascigni & fagioli + sensational fried dishes), a trio of pizzas (the potato one was heartwarming), and more than adequate house wines and desserts. I tried the meat at my neighbor's restaurant but wasn't entirely impressed, so that's fine. Thanks to our host Ylenia for leading us to this oasis of unexpected culinary delights.

02/02/2026: A lovely little place in the center where you can enjoy simple, delicious traditional food. I happened upon it on a set menu, but I'll definitely be back to try some of the other delicacies. I've attached photos of the dinner.
