We returned to Carmine's for a family dinner and, as always, we were reassured that this place is a must-try for those seeking excellent seafood. Their consistency in the quality of their ingredients and service is admirable. The experience started off great with the two house mixed appetizers. It's a beautifully structured menu, offering a series of hot and cold tastings where the ingredients take center stage. Dishes are clean in flavor, never overpowered by excessive seasoning, ranging from the delicacy of local seafood to more delicious traditional seafood dishes, all served with perfect timing. The freshness of the fish is evident in every bite. The highlight of the evening were the first courses, all executed with remarkable technical precision. For our little girl, we ordered gnocchi with scampi in tomato sauce: the pasta had the perfect consistency, and the rich, creamy sauce was perfectly balanced for a child's tastes, so much so that she swiped it all up in no time. The marinara risotto was a real surprise, impeccably creamed, with perfectly separated grains and an intense aroma of the sea. The spaghetti with clams was also top-notch: pasta decidedly al dente, bound together by a perfect emulsion, flavorful and without a trace of sand. We finished by sharing a mixed Adriatic fry between three: dry, crispy, and very light. To drink, we had a half liter of house white wine, chilled and delicious throughout the dinner. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, and the staff stands out for their professionalism, never stiff, with an old-fashioned attention to detail, even for the children. The bill was absolutely fair for the quality of the dinner. We always come back and continue to recommend it.

I was impressed by the attention to detail, starting with the dark ceramic container with the personalized inscription that keeps the arrosticini warm. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the presentation of the dishes is truly meticulous. 27/03/2026: Spurred on by the excellent reviews, we went here for a couples lunch. The staff is friendly but not always responsive... Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience... even though the sushi was good, ordering with a tablet that freezes every minute isn't pleasant, especially given the limited time to order. Furthermore, you can only order a certain number of dishes at a time. I don't think we'll be back.

18/03/2026: All-you-can-eat fare is well above average, with tasty, simple, and well-prepared sushi. The rolls and sashimi are really good. The interior space may be a bit small, but otherwise, a very positive experience. We'll definitely be back.

The convenience of the ample parking was evident from the moment we arrived. The dining experience was excellent from start to finish, with authentic, well-prepared dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. In short, a restaurant that offers top-notch quality at a fair price. 🟢 THE STANDOUT: The cacio e ova (cheese and egg) meatballs are delicious, and I recommend them. The ravioli with ricotta (80% sheep's milk, 20% cow's milk) are perfect. The rabbit was also very good and well-cooked. I also thought the arrosticini were well-made, but we didn't try them. 🟡 THE ATMOSPHERE: A welcoming place with meticulous attention to detail; the bathrooms were also worthy of note, as they were very clean. 🤵 THE SERVICE: Attentive, courteous, and always available service. They make you feel cared for without ever being intrusive. 💰 VALUE FOR MONEY: Excellent. We paid just €52 total for what we ate: the bill was more than fair and proportionate to the excellent quality offered. 🔧 ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: Honestly, there's nothing to complain about; the experience was impeccable in every way. 📌 OVERALL: An excellent confirmation of authentic Abruzzo cuisine in Abbateggio. You'll hardly find this quality at other gelato shops... Fresh ingredients, fair prices, and customer service, not to mention the CREAM, which is homemade and you can taste it because it's out of this world! Even the simple flavors like Yogurt or Lemon are completely different from anywhere else. The quality and craftsmanship are evident. The gelatos are flawless in every way: flavor, appearance, and texture. They're simply perfect! The ladies at the counter are incredibly kind, attentive to service and cleanliness. A special mention goes to Giorgio, who is brilliant at creating your gelato cone. He truly deserves an A+, a super nice guy! If you don't trust my words, go try this gelato shop for yourself.
