Maybe my expectations were too high. I can't say I ate badly, but I didn't have an unforgettable experience either. The skewers were so-so. The meat (Prussian beef) was good, but nothing spectacular. Arrosticini (20), Florentine steak of Prussian beef (800g including bone) and side dish, a bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (from €35): €160 for two. Not even at the Carnicero in Milan... Something's wrong!

Sunday lunch for four; the quality of the meat (sashi beef) was excellent, perfectly cooked; we ordered seconds. The side dishes were also excellent (though there was room for improvement). The dessert was good. We didn't try the first courses. The staff was courteous and efficient. Prices were high but consistent with the quality of the product and service. It's a shame about the room where we sat—without windows or a view. See you next time.

I’ve been coming to Zio for years and I have to say this has been the very best. The chef is touched by the God Chef. Yes, it is a destination restaurant and not easy to find and located in not the best of Abruzzo, but make this your top destination. It is quite simply a WOW culinary experience. Thank you Uncle (Zio). ❤️

If you're a meat lover, this place is a real gem! I tried the Prussian beef: simply exceptional, incredibly tender, perfectly aged, and with an extraordinary flavor. The price is €8 per 100g, absolutely justified by the quality. The staff is highly professional and attentive to every detail, making guests feel truly pampered. A culinary experience not to be missed!

Excellent! Dinner for two on Sunday evening; we booked for the afternoon. The place immediately exudes a wonderful grill restaurant atmosphere. We ordered the tartare mix to try a bit of everything, and the sauces are incredible. The staff recommended which meat to choose based on our tastes, and they were spot on. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender. We'll definitely be back.

03/12/2025: December 3, 2025 We had dinner at this place, discovered by chance while looking for a good place to eat arrosticini in Pescara (we're local), but we wanted to try something new. It would be pointless to simply compliment it, because we've never eaten so well. The mixed bruschetta was truly exceptional: lard, ventricina, sausage, tomato and basil, capocollo... We also ate handmade arrosticini with liver and onion. I can only say that I didn't take any initial photos because we were so indulging in all that deliciousness. For dessert, we chose a deconstructed lemon cheesecake and a tiramisu, slightly revisited by them but extremely delicious. The cheesecake cream was very light, tasty, simple, and impressive! I highly recommend the place. We'll be back soon, and thank you so much for this wonderful culinary experience.
