Very convenient on the road.

Small but historic restaurant in Meta, on the main street, in front of the Piazza del Mulino, with a few tables inside, but some also outside.
The girl who serves the tables, Michela, is very kind.
All the products are genuine, because they are 0 km.
The chef is great.
The first courses are good, the appetizers (abundant), the CAPRICCIO appetizer is excellent, which consists of some pieces of pizza dough (diavolitti), rocket, green olives, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella.
The fried fish with calamari and cod is exquisite.
The house wine is decent.
Among the first courses, I recommend fusilli with walnut pesto and sausages.
Fair prices (modest)

There were two of us and we ate there without a reservation. The service was truly exceptionally friendly. We had pickled fish and fritto misto. Both were very good.

Their menu is very simple and the prices are very affordable (considering the area where the restaurant is located, where wherever you go, they'll extort you for even breathing in their establishments).
Despite the restaurant's simple appearance, the food was exquisite! There were four of us and we all ordered different things, and everything was delicious and, above all, high-quality!
The waitress, Michela, is very kind, cheerful, and very sweet. Excellent service.
This place exceeded all our expectations. Bravo!

Very local and welcoming place. They had the best tomatoes in caprese during our 2 week stay in the South of Italy. We enjoyed this Italian taverna twice without any regret. No englisch speaking staff but this was not a problem at all.
