15/02/2026: Returning to Dal Pagano is always a pleasure. It's not the first time we've been here, and each time you can sense a constant search for goodness and tradition done right. We loved the cheeses, the rintrociolo and ravioli, the grilled lamb, and the mutton alla callara: all authentic and carefully prepared dishes. The desserts are excellent, especially the fig parfait with San Pasquale. The friendliness and professionalism are impeccable. A trattoria that passionately showcases the local area.

11/03/2026: On our way back from Puglia, we stopped for dinner. What a surprise!!! Excellent meal. The hot appetizer was top-notch, the first courses were delicious, and the meat, needless to say! The service was top-notch, and everything went perfectly! The only small drawback was that the place was packed, making it a bit noisy... Well done, guys. Highly recommended!!!!

06/01/2026: The pizzeria is located in the heart of the countryside in Frisa, in a peaceful and pleasant setting. The potatoes and pizzas are truly excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. It's a place I look forward to returning to every time I'm in the area. The welcome is warm and the atmosphere friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

06/03/2026: Location that already upon entering makes you feel in a welcoming place, unique and intriguing. The maitre d' very kind and suuuupeeerrr nice, we were welcomed very well.. starting with the very delicious and fresh raw appetizer and then tasting the spaghetti with black garlic of incredible goodness "that overwhelming flavor remained in my memory" and then finishing with the fish soup cooked with tomato puree very good but it didn't intrigue me as much as the rest.. mandarin sorbet fresh and different from the usual.. I expected more choice of desserts and perhaps lighter among the choices apart from the sorbets they all seemed too heavy to finish a meal.. a tip, I missed the wet wipes to clean my hands, I don't know if they were available but there were no offers.. anyway it remains an excellent place and I hope to return soon!!

22/02/2026: A must-try restaurant, open for years. I really enjoy the cuisine, typical of the Abruzzo coast with plenty of seafood. However, it seems to me that the menu hasn't changed much in years (my last visit was over 10 years ago), but I'm not entirely sure. That being said, the dishes were excellent, from the antipasti (an assortment of raw and then cooked fish) to the desserts (apple strudel with vanilla ice cream), not forgetting the primi and secondi. The wine list offers a nice variety of local and international wines at prices to suit all budgets. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

07/03/2026: We had lunch at La Torre di Pretoro and it was truly an excellent experience. The restaurant is set in a charming setting, with splendid brick vaults and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the meal even more enjoyable. An authentic place where you can experience the full essence of Abruzzo tradition. There were five of us, and we were all very satisfied. Among the appetizers, the cacio e ovo (cheese and egg) balls stood out, truly extraordinary: soft, flavorful, and immersed in a rich, flavorful sauce that perfectly enhances the flavor of the cheese. One of the most delicious traditional Abruzzo dishes. I chose the gnocchi alla ventricina, simply exceptional: soft and well-made gnocchi, with a flavorful sauce that adds character and an intense, typical local flavor. The nettle ravioli were also very special, appreciated for their delicate flavor and the authentic flavor of the fresh pasta. The service was kind and attentive, and the restaurant's intimate, characteristic atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. La Torre di Pretoro is definitely a restaurant worth recommending to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine in a truly charming setting. ⭐ Absolutely recommended! 🍝

In addition to preparing excellent and plentiful hot and cold appetizers, the lady always delights us with homemade first courses, like ricotta ravioli, which are my favorite. And what can I say...the prices are definitely lower than the average restaurant around. Everything is excellent.

03/03/2026: We were six comrades, former Carabinieri Auxiliary Cadets, who after 40 years met for a reunion in front of the "Rebeggiani" Carabinieri Barracks in Chieti Scalo. While strolling on the evening of the 27th, we noticed this restaurant and chose to dine there. It was an exceptional gastronomic experience. We tried the Abruzzo arrosticini, grilled lamb, pappardelle with mushrooms and truffles, and much more. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the place was welcoming, truly a comfort zone. Excellent value for money. Congratulations

03/02/2026: Even though you have to travel a bit to get to the restaurant, it's definitely worth it. Impeccable service: fast, friendly, helpful, and above all, very professional. The restaurant is modern yet classic, yet very welcoming. Excellent food, from the appetizers to the pizzas, the arrosticini, the tagliata, and the desserts, which are truly excellent. Overall, remarkable value for money. I'll conclude by saying that I've been here several times and they've never disappointed me. A wonderful place, keep up the good work!

Excellent meat and quality pizzas served in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Attentive service. Reasonable waiting times. Suitable for couples, families, or groups of friends.
