Blind Beach In Ortona

We happened tu stumble into this hiden quaint retreat by chance. The atmosphere was instantly comforting and the light filled dining room was airy with a lazy outlook into the Adriatic sea. We where pleasantly surprised. Every dish was intriguing and had a twist that added flavour and depth to each serving. From the anchovies with lemon and chilli jam to the octopus and bocconcini skewers just to mention a few. The paccheri are their signature dish and they are to die for. The whole experience was simply divine and we shall be returning on regular base.

A very pleasant surprise. This was the title of our evening at Blind Beach. You immediately knew you'd found the right place this time. An enchanting location by the sea. A beautiful atmosphere with a great pianist who creates memories. Sara approaches customers with a courteous, never intrusive manner, and gives truly excellent advice with all her passion for her work. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and prominently displayed, but not skimpy as is often the case. My family and I lingered long before leaving because we were truly overcome with an incredible sense of pleasure. Equally pleasant was the bill, truly surprising for everything this place offered us. Highly recommended!!

Very friendly owners and we had tasty food. Some very original good quality appetizers and other dishes. Clean restroom. We like the location, this is one of the last places when you exit Franca Villa al Mare in the direction of Ortona. We’ll be back for sure.

Great experience! We tried both the pizza and the fish and were really pleased. The grilled octopus was tender and well-cooked, the tuna tartare was fresh and excellent. Kudos also to the kitchen for preparing a simple pasta dish with fresh tomato sauce for the kids, which was truly delicious and well-received. The friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and the seaside location make everything even more beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

A beautiful beach restaurant, serving fresh seafood prepared with care and creativity. Pizzas are also on the menu. We loved the relaxing and romantic atmosphere, with soft lighting and live piano music in the background. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who attentively looked after us throughout the dinner. It's truly a gem!

A truly positive experience! Ample parking, friendly staff, and quick service. The location is stunning, practically on the seafront: with a secluded beach, consisting of just three rows of umbrellas, you truly feel like you're dining just steps from the water. We started with a delicious cuttlefish and oyster steak, as fresh as raw fish, followed by fried anchovies and sautéed mussels, both excellent. The linguine with scampi sauce was the highlight: an explosion of flavors. The Cestato wine, recommended by the owner, was also excellent, and proved to be a truly perfect choice. The sorbet was also very good. We also greatly appreciated a gesture of great customer care: after ordering a first course from the menu for our daughter, the owner personally came to the table to tell us that, since it was a dish with rather unusual flavors, it might not be suitable for her. She then offered to prepare a simpler first course, specially made for her, which was truly appreciated. Such care and sensitivity make all the difference. Prices are absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients and the service. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return!
