Excellent food. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant manager, Mrs. Liliana, if I'm not mistaken.

Visit the historic center of Lanciano and then stop for lunch at "Ai Vecchi Sapori," an ancient and welcoming restaurant. The staff were very helpful and kind, and recommended: Bruschetta with homemade bread and local olive oil; for the first course, rintrocilo with ragù made with three types of meat; for the second course, cacio e ovë balls with a side of cabbage, anchovies, polenta, and ferfellone (dried pepper); coffee and tart; and finally, a liqueur. Everything was truly delicious, exquisite flavors, and generous portions. It's never nice to discuss prices, but in this case, it's a must. 2 people, total €44.00 Recommended 💪🫶

The time-honored flavors of traditional Italian culinary recipes shine through in a welcoming atmosphere that allows guests to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience. The chefs are friendly and always readily available. My personal impression is that the combination of flavors they create in the kitchen—one appealing to the body and the other to the mind—is truly exquisite. Thank you for your kind attention.

An excellent restaurant where we ate fresh food, made with local ingredients, and cooked to perfection. A very welcoming, harmonious atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. We'll be back many times!

A stop on our trip led us to discover this truly characteristic and unique restaurant in Lanciano. We enjoyed Abruzzo appetizers with flavors we no longer taste, followed by a first course featuring a truly delicious handmade Abruzzo pasta called Rintrocilo. The wine paired excellently with everything else. We even managed to get a sample of this wine to taste at home. The presence of the truly friendly and amiable restaurant manager was also very helpful.

Excellent food in a quaint local setting. The service leaves much to be desired, with very long wait times because the very friendly chef has to take care of everything: taking orders, managing the dining room despite the presence of a waiter, and cooking. The restaurant is not suitable for children when fully booked, despite the limited seating (6/7) due to the limited waiting time.

A quaint restaurant in the heart of the historic center, serving well-prepared traditional Abruzzo cuisine, including homemade pasta and generous portions that evoke the flavors of yesteryear. The atmosphere is rustic yet welcoming, and the staff is often very friendly and helpful, carefully recommending typical local dishes.

The first courses were excellent: gnocchi with borage and ricotta, cod mezzelune (half-moons) and guinea fowl tortelli. Everyone was very friendly and the place was lovely. The prices were fair.
