We stumbled upon this restaurant in Vasto almost by accident during a trip, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! We ordered a platter and the pasta alla ventricina: both dishes were truly excellent, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The prices are absolutely in line with what's on offer. A special mention goes to the service: the waiters were fast, friendly, and attentive. The owner was extremely kind and attentive, which isn't always a given. Highly recommended if you're passing through and want to eat well in a welcoming atmosphere!

This was the first restaurant we visited in Vasto. A complete success! The food and service were wonderful. The tasting menu more than impressed us. The pasta was divine. 🇩🇪❤️🇮🇹

The staff was exceptional. They gave us a warm welcome. Service was fast, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They recommended some epic dishes and even some good wine. The bread was fantastic, homemade. They have a wide menu of both meat and fish. I had the scampi risotto with currants; I've never had a risotto this good. The girl who served us was incredibly kind and sweet. She even offered me a dessert; the berry cheesecake was divine. The place is intimate and rustic, very charming, and the price was super reasonable. We had a bottle of rosé, a glass of white wine, two fish-based first courses, appetizers, a sliced ​​steak, a dessert, and the arrosticini. We paid about €120 in total. There were three of us, so it was roughly €30 per person. I highly recommend it if you want to be treated with kindness and actually eat fresh, excellent dishes.

We ate at La Transumanza in Vasto and the experience was simply fantastic! A welcoming restaurant in the heart of the city, where you can experience all the authenticity of tradition. We truly appreciated the quality of the ingredients, all local and incredibly fresh. The staff was exquisite: friendly, attentive, and always smiling, making you feel right at home. And then the arrosticini... without a doubt the best we've ever eaten! Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. An absolutely worthy place: for us, it's a 10 out of 10 without hesitation. We'll definitely be back!

If I could add 10 stars, I would. Beautiful location, obsessive customer service from the staff, and especially the food. Excellent quality, the Vastese-style brodetto was excellent and very plentiful. Everything was great.

I accidentally stopped by on the way back. The arrosticini and appetizers were very good. As a Venetian, I also bought a bottle of wine and had a great time. My kids had the kids' menu, nothing special, tomato gnocchi and cutlet with potatoes!! But the value for money was better than McDonald's, so everything was fine. Most importantly, they were drawing the whole time, and I had a chance to chat with my wife. The price? Nothing exceptional, in line with tourist prices.

The food was excellent, everything was prepared by them, even the bread and desserts. The woman who welcomed and served us was very kind, attentive, and gave us excellent advice. We wanted to eat local products, and it was worth it! I hope to return...I highly recommend it! We returned after a year...it's still just as we remembered it! We'll be back as soon as we can!
