The food is very good, typical of Abruzzo. I ate typical dishes such as sheep's milk stew called "pecorino al callaro" and "sagne al ragù" with 3 types of meat, it's very good, and the saffron ricotta ravioli are also very good, go and try them.

During a motorcycle ride, we stopped for lunch because Google Maps showed the restaurant near the source of the Green River, and it had a good rating. I can confirm that it was a pleasant experience, with quality dishes served by friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend the experience.

Trattoria with a capital T!!! Vrache di mulo...the local dish...exceptional!!! The tortelli with saffron are excellent. The appetizer is quality cured meats and cheeses. Generous portions and very fair prices... Congratulations...very good!!!

There were only two restaurants in Palombaro when we visited. Both are amazing. Pagano sets you up with tradition dishes and sets the culinary table for Palombaro. Both restaurants make incredible dishes but Pagano is a tradition restaurant whereas Restaurant da Elise is more personable. Both make great food and have excellent ambiance.

It's our last day of vacation and we found this place with only one flaw... IT'S 450KM FROM HOME!!! But it was worth coming this far. I'LL "SHOW" YOU my "discovery." You go for me and let me know if I'm exaggerating. 😉🔝🔝
