This was my first time at this restaurant. The staff is very polite and friendly. The food is commendable for its quality, but in my humble opinion, it lacks that extra "push" to enhance and make the dishes unique. The passion is lacking, which in the kitchen makes up for the sacrifices and dedication.

Attracted by the good reviews and the promising menu, we came for dinner, but were unpleasantly disappointed. The first courses, which looked very interesting on paper, were actually tasteless, with a thin sauce and little fish seasoning, which made their prices unjustified. On the plus side, the mixed grill was a good overall value, and the waitress was kind and professional.

What can I say? A wonderful experience with very professional wait staff and a 5-star welcome. I found and chose this place on vacation in Chieti after reading the great reviews after an afternoon trip to Ortona. I recommend the shrimp appetizer, a sensational array of hot and cold flavors. The crudité appetizer, chosen by my daughter, was also excellent. The menu offers a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Congratulations!

We had lunch at Il Gambero Restaurant in Ortona and were truly satisfied. The fish was incredibly fresh, the dishes were carefully prepared, and the portions were generous. The quality/price ratio was also excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic seafood. We'll definitely be back!

An elegant restaurant with a vintage feel. The food was delicious, with generous portions, but what struck us most was the kindness and passion of the waiter who accompanied us throughout the dinner.

I went there last night with my family, it's our favorite restaurant. Chef William and his staff are fantastic people, they put passion, heart, and commitment into everything they do.
