La Corona di Ferro In Lanciano

A historic restaurant in the center of Lanciano. Excellent dishes, rooted in tradition, using local ingredients. The presentation leaves nothing to chance. We returned for the third time today for Easter. A welcome canapé included a tartlet and a fiadone; egg and asparagus with truffle and a cauliflower mousse; cheek tortello with pecorino and guanciale; and mutton revisited as a arrosticini with seasonal vegetables. Everything was impeccable. To top it all off, an apricot Colomba cake with chocolate ice cream satisfied our sweet tooth. As we were about to leave and settle the bill, the maître d' gifted us a homemade apricot Colomba cake, just like the one we enjoyed at the end of lunch; we'll share it with friends on Easter Monday. The chef was present this time as well and received our compliments. Recommended with reservations.

Tried the €55 menu and it was excellent. Portions were not overwhelming and unusually well composed for an Italian restaurant.

An elegant restaurant in the historic center with excellent cuisine, carefully crafted dishes using quality ingredients, seafood specialties, and creative dishes that stand out. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, and the staff is friendly and professional, with a good wine selection. On the downside, there can be a wait between courses when the restaurant is busy, and some dishes (such as the raw fish) can be a bit pricey for the quantity. Overall, a very positive experience and recommended for a special dinner or occasion.

Welcoming place, impeccable cuisine. I went for lunch on Sunday, the service was unobtrusive and friendly, the dishes were not only beautiful to look at but also delicious. Highly recommended.

Fantastic cuisine! All of our à la carte dishes were sensational, and the portions were also really generous! The wine was perfect and the service was super friendly! And all at an affordable, almost cheap price!!! Perfect! Compliments!!!
