27/09/2025: My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner, hoping to enjoy a good seafood dish. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. As soon as we sat down, we asked for spaghetti with clams, but were immediately told they weren't available. So, we ordered a mixed appetizer (€30) and two chitarrine allo scoglio (chitarrine with seafood). The appetizer, in our opinion, wasn't particularly rich: among the hot dishes, even the classic sautéed mussels were missing, and, of course, there were no clams. For €30, we certainly expected something more adequate. The biggest disappointment was the first courses: rather than "allo scoglio" (seafood), they seemed to simply have mussels and calamari, tasteless and repetitive compared to the appetizer. My dish also had a couple of shrimp, while my husband's didn't have any. We reported this to the staff, specifying that we didn't like the dishes, and they gave us a €3.50 discount. It's certainly not a matter of discounting: we left craving a delicious fish dinner, and we came home disappointed. Unfortunately, we won't be returning, and we're having a hard time understanding the glowing reviews we read before coming. I forgot, we asked for chili pepper, and it arrived already consumed by others who must have handled it. I have more to say and document, but I'll stop here.

15/09/2025: From 6:30 a.m. for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs all the way through to dinner. Everything was delicious. More than generous portions. Very friendly owners.

20/09/2025: I hate writing bad reviews, but this is noteworthy. Avoid the gnocchi with tomato sauce. Insipid. Pizza was way too salty and undercooked. But what really pushed me to write the bad review was watching the grill/pizza chef wipe his sweaty head with his hand and then continue to handle the food. No gloves, no handwashing. Sorry, but that is just gross. We have been to many places over tje past 4 days....I'd stay clear of this place if you're on holiday.

08/09/2025: Having stumbled upon lunch here by chance while visiting L'Aquila's historic center, we discovered a refined and tasty cuisine, made with local ingredients. At the end of the meal, the chef explained how he cooked the seemingly simple grilled chicken. The handmade pappardelle, topped with sheep's milk ricotta, Campostano sausage, and black truffle, were incredibly rich. The final treat, which alone deserves six stars, was the gentian ice cream. A true delight... The bill was the final pleasant surprise.

The owners are so nice and were very kind to a foreigner like me. I loved it so much I went back 2 days in a row. Pasta is fresh and local, and the lamb is unbelievable.

07/09/2025: The best meat I've ever eaten! Not just the tagliata, served with arugula and parmesan, but also the platter of amazing cured meats and cheeses, including exceptional prosciutto. The owners farm locally, so the animals are fed healthily and treated with respect; they're not sold wholesale, and it shows! The butcher shop is close to the restaurant. The owners are very hospitable and kind. Truly a discovery! If you're in the area, I definitely recommend a visit! The place isn't your typical tourist spot, and we really enjoyed it.

27/08/2025: The location is very charming, with a beautiful open view. The staff is friendly and always attentive to their customers. The arrosticini are absolutely the best I've ever eaten. When I want excellent Abruzzo food, I come here! Highly recommended.

The garden and outdoor area could be better maintained, given the spectacular view. The setting should do justice to everything else. "Youth" is definitely not the answer...

08/10/2025: It's like being in a fairytale! The rooms are furnished with every comfort, clean and very comfortable. Exquisite staff with excellent cuisine, based on local ingredients, and exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable staff. The pizza is always well-cooked and generously topped. The two owners are very attentive to their guests. Convenient parking.

17/09/2025: We've been to this delightful little restaurant several times as a family, so much so that I decided to celebrate my birthday here. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and meticulous. Everyone was very kind. I felt pampered and satisfied in every way. I absolutely recommend it.

14/09/2025: The restaurant has a large parking lot with outdoor space and children's area, I celebrated my daughter's birthday, the very fresh fish, friendly and kind staff, with an excellent and plentiful €35 menu.

This evening I had the best fish-based first course ever, a bean and fish soup with a dreamy crunchy crumble, not to mention the fried shrimp and calamari, and finally the cooked peaches in must. One of the best fish restaurants (but I also do meat) I've had the pleasure of eating at. I recommend it; it's hard to describe. The staff is absolutely friendly and professional.

16/09/2025: Totally hidden, and unless you're specifically looking for good restaurants off the beaten track, you wouldn't find it. Great service, good food, and the portions are absolutely enormous! Be sure to ask about the daily specials—they also had pasta with fresh porcini mushrooms. We'll be back!

01/09/2025: It's a wonderful discovery that deserves even more than five stars. Truly authentic dishes, smiles, and kindness in a warm and tastefully decorated environment. I tried the cacio e ove balls, excellent; I tried the fried farro pizza with lard, honey, and pine nuts, another specialty; followed by the ravioli with mushrooms and truffles and the chitarra with crispy bacon, each one better than the last. The flavors are distinct and perfectly complement each other, a harmony on the palate! Oh...the semifreddo...what can I say?!

16/10/2025: Nothing special. The beach promenade is pretty run-down, with holes, rust, and broken railings, temporarily repaired with a construction fence. The beach and the woods are littered with trash. Disgustingly lazy people!
