Located on the iconic Corso Manthonè, this gem stands out for its refined and innovative take on classic Abruzzese dishes.okok During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring the Coniglio dei Prati di Tivo, a beautifully tender rabbit dish with fresh herbs that take you straight to the heart of the Abruzzo countryside. The Falsomagro di Vitello Stracotto was another standout — a slow-cooked veal roulade that’s perfectly balanced with a rich, flavorful sauce, offering a true taste of tradition. The Pallotte di Ricotta di Pecora — sheep ricotta meatballs — were heavenly, delicate, and full of flavor, making them a must-try for anyone fond of authentic regional dishes. In addition to these delights, the Tartare Beef prepared at the table is another exceptional dish that showcases the restaurant's attention to detail and fresh ingredients. The Sublime Frittatina, an omelette made with fresh garden herbs and goat cheese, was another highlight that I highly recommend. 03/06/2025: I am reviewing after my second visit. I tasted both the daily special and the choice from the menu; on both occasions I appreciated an excellent choice of products and good preparation of the dishes. In the era of clownish cutting boards that you see around I say to you: go and try "la fellata" and then you will tell me. And if you like to play you will order with a smile the "maccaroni alla borbonica" only to then be amazed and immediately try to remake them at home. Small but not confusing environment (at lunchtime there are usually calm employees on their lunch break, in the evening a couple of children would be enough to "liven up" the evening). Bathroom in order. Attentive, fast and friendly service. And to finish and define the comment I say that the quality/price ratio is good, especially in relation to the general price increase that you see around; my 5 stars therefore derive from the perfect fit between what you expect from this type of place and what you actually find.

03/05/2025: a friend from the area had told me about it and at the first opportunity, going to Luigi Ulisse in his estate to get some nice bottles of wine to give to friends, I wanted to go, the location is enchanting, a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, between 2 fantastic trabocchi, shame about the entrance from the street, a little hidden and in bad shape, but when you're inside you forget about it The menu is rich and the choice is varied with excellent dishes, I would have taken a nice bottle of Ulisse, but they were on delivery and I had some local Cerasuolo brought to me_Valentino Cantine Mucci The squid in its water intrigues me right away and I have them brought to me, you have to wait for the cooking time, because it's all express, great professionalism and the result of the wait is truly excellent, the squid melts in your mouth and the filling is delicious, fantastic raw material and you can't help but make the slipper with the crusty bread they brought you, even if you then dip the other one too so as not to leave any of that fantastic broth I wanted a sauté of mussels but he tells me that he will bring it to me as a second course and so I ask him to recommend a first course: Fusilloro “Verrigni” with asparagus and scampi, very, very good Then the mussels arrive, which at that point you will have replaced with a sea bass skewer, but the order had already gone and I was a little disappointed, the only flaw, not being able to change a dish on the go would have been avoided, too bad! The Vallevò mussel stew, however, was good with a little peeled tomato which released a nice sauce, but garlic, which I hate, is not brought to the table, you remove it before bringing the dish, I don't like to taste it in the fish, seeing it makes me uncomfortable, that's fine! I make up for it with the dessert, I don't think I saw them in the QR code and the lady on duty tells me about them, a good dessert with chocolate and almond brittle, very good Then coffee and off you go I'd like to go back with friends, next time!!

07/04/2025: Nice all-wooden restaurant located on a hill, genuine typical cuisine, varied and abundant starters. Very tasty first courses with mushrooms and asparagus. Good local red wine. Good value for money, we paid 120 euros for 4 of us eating from A to Z. After dessert they offered us 4 bottles of various liqueurs to taste at the table (limoncello, fragolino etc.) I recommend to everyone! Okay

03/05/2025: La genuinità dell'accoglienza coniugata con una altissima qualità del cibo. Tutte le volte che veniamo al Baco rimaniamo normalmente super soddisfatti. Le pietanze sono INNANZITUTTO ECCELLENTI, dal punto di vista del gusto e dell'accoppiamento dei sapori, e poi se serve sono ANCHE BELLE nelle PRESENTAZIONI. Il tutto in una atmosfera quasi familiare, un locale bellissimo in un parco verde, a due passi dalla città. Se vuoi mangiare pesce crudo e eccellenti ostriche a L’Aquila...consiglio fortemente IL BACO DA SETA!

17/05/2025: Vedendo il punteggio di recensione su TripAdvisor, non capivo perché fosse così basso poi siamo stati a mangiare alla collina del Cavaliere ed ho capito che chi fa le recensioni su TripAdvisor non e' attendibile. Locale semplice ma funzionale e carino, cibo TANTO, porzioni esageratamente abbondanti e prezzi BASSI. Qualità? OTTIMA......cosa rimane da dire? La cortesia? La ragazza che ci ha serviti, Angela, e' stata cortese, simpatica e professionale. Forse e' il primo locale dove anche 5 stelle sono poche. Sarà un luogo dove tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglierò a tutti.

03/06/2025: Must try! Too bad we only tried it on the last day... we were disappointed by other much more expensive restaurants where they didn't know how to cook the raw material. Here we spent €35 for a fish lunch for two with water and focaccia included. The food is really delicious with very generous portions! Not to mention the staff, really kind and smiling, which trust me, is absolutely not a given! Highly recommended, I plan to return on my next vacation!

Locale pulito. Prezzi assolutamente onesti per la qualità offerta che spesso è migliore dei ristoranti! Diciamo che non è una “semplice gastronomia” !! Grazieeee di esistereeee 🥰
