04/09/2025: We ate at this mountain restaurant located at 2,000 meters above the village of Alleghe. The view is breathtaking, but they don't need to do anything special to achieve this because nature has done its job very well, and it's not the most important issue in my opinion. The restaurant doesn't take reservations for outside dining unless you're in a group of at least 6 to 8 people, according to a phone conversation I had with an employee. When we arrived, we were greeted by young, smiling and pleasant waiters. This was a positive point that raised my rating from 2 to 3. We sat at a large table outside (there are only large tables for 8). To start our meal, we chose the cheese and charcuterie board with fried polenta. We had a Spritz and a red Dolomite beer. For the main courses, we chose a Viennese-style breaded escalope with polenta and paccheri with mushrooms and bacon. We drank a house wine. I'll start with the positives: The cheese and charcuterie board was good quality The meat was tender and lightly fried The beer was good The bread basket was okay What wasn't great at all: A paltry quantity for the cheese and charcuterie board at this price The pasta was stuck together and undercooked, a disgrace to be in Italy, the bacon wasn't even a whole slice, and the mushrooms were bland. And especially the plate, at this altitude when it's windy at 2,000 m, it gets cold in less than a minute. So, when it's undercooked and cold on top of that, I'll let you imagine the quality of the food. And it was served 5 minutes after receiving the meat platter. An oversight? So, do we cook pasta in a hurry or not? And as I always do, I ate the plate to be completely objective. Unacceptable and disappointing. The polenta was the same, a flat plate, so it became cold like the pasta. And above all, very salty. Just to humbly inform the cooks, pasta and polenta are served in soup plates, and in the case of a mountain restaurant, since they want to do "gastronomic style," in warm plates. The house wine was nothing special. At the end of the meal, I expressed my grievances to a waitress when she asked me if everything had gone well. She was kind enough to apologize, but since the problem wasn't hers, I asked her to see a manager. Apparently, there's no manager in this restaurant, since no one deigned to come to our table. Conclusion: The price of 75 euros is, in my opinion, overpriced for the overall quality. The panoramic view can't erase everything. In comparison, for twice the price, we ate at a gourmet Argentinian meat restaurant in Verona, with a starter of Pata Negra ham (double the size of our platter), 300g Black Angus beef fillets, high-quality wine, digestifs, and aperitifs. This, to me, demonstrates the glaring disparity between tourist spots where they take too much advantage of tourists, whether foreign or Italian. Tried once, but not twice.

03/08/2025: An Absolute Gem – Fresh, Scenic, and Unforgettable! This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure. The views alone are worth the visit. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients, and their homemade cheeses are simply divine, especially the creamy goat cheese made right there on the farm from their own goats. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, made even better by the incredible staff. They were beyond accommodating, going out of their way to cater to our group’s needs and making sure every allergy was handled with care. No request was too big or small. They genuinely wanted us to have the perfect experience. Being on the farm surrounded by animals made it all the more magical. It’s not just a meal here, it’s an experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.

Blessed with a clear day and perfect temperatures, the icing on the cake is having the honor of meeting Mr. Aurelio. In fact, he prefers Aurelio. ❤️

09/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria with generous, tasty, and reasonably priced pizza. Fast, friendly service. Parking available. Regular, whole wheat, soy, and Neapolitan pizza dough available.

03/11/2025: Delicious pizza Craving pizza, to eat in or take out. Cooked in a wood-fired oven, delicious. In my opinion, the best pizza in the Sedico area. Price: €8.50 for a Capricciosa.

05/11/2025: I give it a 1 because I tried to stop for lunch twice on August 9th and 17th, but both times, after waiting more than 20 minutes, no one came to take our orders, even though we tried to attract their attention.

30/10/2025: We discovered this place as tourists on our motorbike. The approach is already incredible and absolutely worth seeing. Then we chatted with the owner, and he told us where the meat, the electricity, and everything else comes from. Absolutely fantastic and worth a visit every year when we're in the area. The view is simply breathtaking.

30/11/2025: Lunch with several friends. Everyone, to be precise, was thrilled with the food and the service. Excellent menu, reasonable price.

23/09/2025: Fixed menu dinner (€35: 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, dessert, wine, coffee, and water). I could almost consider myself full with the appetizers alone. Everything was excellent; it's a shame I didn't have an even bigger stomach! The trout in saor was sublime. We'll definitely return to try something else. Reservations recommended due to limited seating. Ample free parking.

10/11/2025: Last Sunday we were lucky enough to find the last available table for lunch at this delightful agriturismo. The atmosphere is warm, family-friendly, and relaxing. The view is breathtaking. The food is excellent. Delicious, home-cooked food. The staff is friendly and smiling. My family and I were truly delighted to have discovered this wonderful place. 06/10/2025: My experience is limited to the restaurant, and from this point of view, it's been very positive. Excellent dishes, home cooking, and very helpful staff. I recommend it. Keep in mind that the road leading to it, while very picturesque, is very narrow in the last stretch, and inexperienced drivers may have difficulty navigating oncoming traffic.

24/10/2025: The place clearly doesn't need my review, but after visiting twice in one day, I felt motivated to speak. I am not a pizza expert or judge, but standing outside with a plate of half eaten slices, I mumbled "This is the best Pizza I have ever eaten". Perhaps not a good example of an Italian pizza, but coming from the US and having eaten a fair amount of pizza in my 50 years, it is amazing and I don't believe you will find better in this fine country. Grab a slice. It's worth it. And you will be thinking about it the rest of the day and find yourself back there later that day(ordering two or three). Cortina is a beautiful town, but this pizza will be the thing that stands out in my memory. Just go.

03/11/2025: We spent our autumn break in Vinigo, a beautiful village above Peaio. Since it was also a holiday for me, a regular cook, we were thrilled to find such a well-run little restaurant nearby with such delicious cuisine! We enjoyed not only pizza and pasta, but also typical northern Italian dishes! And we did so almost every evening! We were also served by an exceptionally attentive and friendly lady! All in all, it was a truly wonderful experience to eat there at such a reasonable price in such a welcoming, family-run atmosphere!
