03/11/2024: Macelleria che alla sera diviene ristorante utilizzando i propri prodotti. Piatti molto gustosi, tipici dell’attività e della zona. Carta dei vini interessante. La titolare, con il marito, esprime in grande amore per il proprio lavoro. Locale molto curato e ben frequentato, prezzi corretti. Un’idea del genere in una grande città avrebbe un successo strepitoso.

04/04/2025: A mixed experience. This restaurant is tucked away on a lovely canal and clearly aims to offer a refined, slow-cooked take on traditional Italian cuisine. The setting is charming, and it seems to cater to a more “foodie” crowd, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and a fresh take on traditional italian. However, for us, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. While the service was professional, it really lacked any warmth, and the atmosphere felt more formal than inviting. The food was fresh and of good quality but didn’t quite deliver on flavour. For example I ordered the Vitelli Tonnato for my main dish and was surprised when it arrived as a plate of cold thinly sliced veal with dollops of anchovy sauce served on an entree size plate with nothing else .. for €26 it was a bit disappointing.. and underwhelming. At €120 for two appetisers, two small mains, and three glasses of wine, it was the most expensive meal we had in Venice—and not, in our view, the best value. While others may appreciate its more curated approach, it wasn’t quite the right fit for us.

19/03/2025: Location: Very central and easily accessible. Environment: Elegant and welcoming, perfect for creating a relaxing and refined atmosphere. Menu: Although not extensive, it offers a very varied selection, capable of satisfying different palates and preferences. Quality of food: Excellent, with dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and balanced portions. Service: Trained, courteous staff always attentive to customer needs. Prices: Medium-high, but absolutely adequate for the quality offered. Overall, a great experience and I will happily return.

23/03/2025: Beautiful setting, very kind staff, good food. Of course we couldn't miss the bigoli, recommended with amatriciana and duck ragù. The Meringata, from a very famous pastry shop in the area, is amazing.

22/03/2025: Neither good nor bad, 6/7. The quality of the food is related to what you spend, relatively little, including wine (but house wine). Friendly service, but tell the waiters that it's a good thing to smile every now and then 😉 (Too many tables crowded, but unfortunately it's common practice now)

27/03/2025: I have been frequenting this place for years and I must say that it stands out for the quality of both the drinking and the eating. The location is very original unlike the many tourist bars in this location, the cocktail proposals are never banal and the staff is always smiling and courteous. Absolutely recommended for an aperitif or an evening drink with friends For those interested, I would like to point out that it is very close to the seafront promenade

10/03/2025: Second time we went there and I must say excellent Excellent food, you can really feel that it is all homemade and with fresh ingredients The guys were super welcoming, a very polite and nice young guy welcomed us and another expert guy told us many curiosities about the gin they produce. Impossible to go there without taking home biscuits and a bottle of gin. Really good. We wait for the ice cream shop to open because from tasting it it seems unmissable.

21/04/2025: Se avete prenotato in questo posto vi consiglio di stare a digiuno dal giorno prima. Abbiamo preso il menu' che era composto da: antipasti - tagliere di salumi, giardiniera, verdure, polenta con i funghi, polenta abbrustolita. E già sarebbe bastato come cena completa. Arrivano i primi ed erano tre piatti da dividere a coppia, il problema che erano veramente abbondanti. Arriva il secondo problema, inizia a diventare veramente tanto il cibo. Per fortuna ti portano il sorbetto così sgrassa un pochino. ed ecco i secondi, altri tre piatti belli abbondanti. Non siamo riusciti a finire tutto, gentilmente lo staff chiede se volevamo portarlo via, ebbene si si evitano sprechi. Dolce e caffè per finire. Beh sicuro quando torno in zona ci torno volentieri. Staff, cibo, conto tutto super. Per tutto quel cibo abbiamo speso solo 35€ a testa.

18/04/2025: Zijn hier met ons 4 komen eten, ze hebben ons omver geblazen met enorm lekker eten!! Zeer goede keuken en personeel zeer vriendelijk. 1 woord ervoor het mooie Italië waar we voor gekomen zijn!

07/04/2025: Este lugar es increíble para los fanáticos de los mariscos, pero yo no soy uno de ellos! Aun así, el ambiente del restaurante era tan grande, que decidí darle una oportunidad. Tengo chuletas de cordero, y estaban sorprendentemente deliciosas. Lo mejor de todo es que su guarnición de patata era increíble – ¡incluso pedí otra! El personal era muy agradable y hablaba inglés bien.

28/03/2025: Increíble marisco, vino, ambiente y servicio. Estábamos un poco escépticos porque está muy cerca de San Marco y la zona turística ocupada, pero tuvimos una comida absolutamente maravillosa aquí, mientras que en Venecia. Muy recomendable!
