16/09/2025: It was recommended to us by the receptionist at our hotel. Great place, in the top 3 of our stay in Veneto.

14/09/2025: Sunday lunch at this restaurant offering gluten-free options. The restaurant is bright and well-decorated, with young, friendly staff. The appetizer of eggplant tagliatelle with shrimp and confit cherry tomatoes was a great start, a beautifully presented and tasty dish. Next up was buffalo ricotta ravioli with a delicate and very pleasant flavor. The meal concluded with a crème brûlée with fresh berries, a truly exceptional preparation. Prices are moderately high, but it's worth it. Recommended.

03/09/2025: They brought me the wrong starter. After a while, they brought me half a portion. It was 2-3 spoonfuls. You can see it in the photo. This means for foreigners, all the dishes are half portions. Strange! For all the other customers, the dishes are large. Instead, everything was clean and the food was good. Fast and friendly service.

26/07/2025: We've been going to Tavernetta for several years, and I can confirm that each visit is a different and satisfying experience. The chef has an incredible knack for pairings, and the quality of the ingredients is truly top-notch, complemented by their excellent wines. I can't recommend this place highly enough, including a few photos of a delicious seafood lunch. Thanks, as always, to the entire staff; they are exceptionally attentive and kind.

24/06/2025: .. warm and welcoming environment, like being in a family.. the chef is very friendly and has a real talent and genuine passion for his work.. a wise search for ingredients and unique combinations make every lunch/dinner a unique and special culinary experience. Highly recommended

30/08/2025: Family pizza party, a very nice and welcoming place, with all the young and very kind staff. Excellent pizzas made with quality ingredients, and a very pleasant welcome aperitif. A little out of the way but easy to get to, with average prices. I also saw the restaurant service at other tables, with very inviting dishes like spaghetti allo scoglio and others. Definitely worth returning.

28/08/2025: Very clean and well-maintained pizzeria, with beautiful lighting that can be seen from the outside, from the street, and which immediately catches your attention. Excellent pizza and fast service despite it being quite crowded. I had calamari with confit cherry tomatoes, delicious! But I also tried my companion's pizza, and it had a delicious crust. Very friendly and helpful staff. Average prices. I highly recommend this place! We will be back.

13/08/2025: Unbeatable value for money. I had dinner with the house fish appetizer (boiled) and three other fish appetizers for five of us to share. We were already full. Plus, the sea bass...that alone was enough for the abundance of both pasta and shellfish. Clean, fast service, trattoria-like yet refined atmosphere, you feel at home, and it was packed...there must be a reason 😊TOP

05/09/2025: Pietro was our server and provided the most excellent service. The food was exceptional and truly authentic. The house made gnocchi took me back to my Italian roots sitting in my grandmas kitchen. My husband had the seafood pasta and agreed some of the best he’s had. The atmosphere was quaint and pride is taken in this restaurant. A must while in Venice!

01/10/2025: A very simple place, very kind and helpful staff, and quick service. The food was good (we had risotto al tastasale, risotto al pontel di isoli, risotto with frogs, and bogoni with polenta), all very good. Perhaps a little pricey for what we ate. But the quality and the way they prepared the ingredients are second to none.

29/09/2025: Found by chance, this place deserves a detailed review. Meticulous attention to detail and a large room perfect for celebrating baptisms, birthdays, small ceremonies, and business dinners. Suitable for any occasion, it also has a smaller room, and there's even a room for small conferences. Highly recommended. Typical local and national dishes.

10/09/2025: I found Locanda al Convento simply by poking around on Google maps looking for something close to the Venice airport since we would be returning a rental car and flying out the next morning. I still can't believe how lucky I was to stumble on this place. Dario is a great host, friendly and helpful. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The setting is peaceful and quiet. It was a night off for his restaurant, but Dario was more than helpful in suggesting some local dining options, and went so far as to make the dinner reservation for us. Dario must be a local favorite because the people at the restaurant knew who he is, and they treated us well, and the food was delicious. We like cats and there were at least three very friendly outdoor cats that made us welcome. We would definitely stay here again, and would try to schedule it for Wednesday - Sunday when his restaurant is open.
