Excellent food, very friendly service, highly recommended

This restaurant gave me a unique and memorable experience, with a mix of both positives and a few drawbacks. Let’s start with the atmosphere. Despite being located in the busy city of Venice, the restaurant offers a calm, quiet, and very traditional setting. It truly feels like an old, classic Italian restaurant, which creates a very pleasant and relaxing vibe. Regarding the food, I ordered lasagna, and it was excellent, very flavorful and clearly prepared with a high level of skill. However, we also ordered a seafood shell pasta, and unfortunately, the pasta was undercooked and quite hard. We double-checked it ourselves before saying anything, and it was clearly not cooked properly compared to other pasta dishes we’ve had. This situation had both a negative and a positive side. The downside was that the staff did not acknowledge that the pasta was undercooked and instead explained it as the style of Italian pasta, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, they replaced the dish without any issue, and the second pasta was perfectly cooked and enjoyable. I also tried their beer, which was good and fairly standard. In terms of pricing, it’s similar to other restaurants in Venice. As expected, Venice in general tends to be a bit more expensive compared to other Italian cities. Overall, despite the small issue, the atmosphere and the quality of some dishes make this place worth trying.

By far the best pizza and Aperol we've had anywhere in Europe. A real hidden gem. We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and highly recommend it. Be sure to ask for the pizza menu at your table.

Food is delicious - typical Venetian and felt like a home cooked meal. Family run restaurant and the men working here were SO sweet! I had paccheri with scallops and zucchini and house white wine - so good!

Fantastic dinner in Venice - stumbled in on our first night in town. Our waiter, Demitri was brilliant - great with the kids. The food was fab as was the atmosphere. We absolutely would come again.
