10/01/2025: The reviews attributed to this pizzeria are highly misleading. Let's go in order: - small pizza, very burnt edge and thin, dry dough, as if it were a biscuit. The worst pizza I've ever eaten in my life. Luckily it's cheap; - unlike normal pizzerias where you go to have a smile and a chat, here you have to speak in a low voice because "you try to keep the volume low". In fact, the waiter reprimanded us with these words after hearing laughter coming from our table. Incredible, we were almost screaming. Obviously, it ruined the atmosphere of conviviality with which we had headed there; - old rooms, an area of ​​the room that is practically dark. Distressing, although this is the minor problem. In a nutshell, we went once to try, never again. A little tip: have a laugh that's good for your heart.

24/02/2025: Walking around the historic center of Verona we noticed the entrance to this Wine & Food restaurant. Intrigued, we enter and are greeted by the staff who very kindly let us sit at the table. I really liked the arrangement of the tables which allows you to talk and eat while having an adequate distance for your privacy. I found the decor to be in good taste and above all the possibility of pouring the wine to your own taste and liking. We ordered an appetizer with polenta and cured meats, very good and two first courses, all really pleasant. Quiet place with friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it to you. Thank you.

21/03/2025: I went because it was rated gluten free: it’s more sensitive to food allergies. They did substitute a gluten free pasta to my meal. I started with a small tasting serving of delicious potato soup. I then had beef tartare served in a half-cut lengthwise bone. All in a bed of tasty arugula. Next I had a seafood carbonara with an amazing egg foam dispensed at the table. For dessert the house offered me sorbet in three delicious, natural flavors. The wait staff was wonderful and treated me like a king. I highly recommend Vecio Macello
