That evening, we went to a restaurant called Osteria Metti, which I found through Google Maps based on its rating, about 20 minutes from the hotel, to celebrate my birthday. We arrived without a reservation and were luckier than we deserved — there was only one table left in the restaurant.
The atmosphere was magical, the view was beautiful, the service was outstanding, and the food was wow. For our starter, we had truffle pasta, possibly the best we have ever eaten. For the main course, we had an entrecôte steak, 500 grams, and beef fillet. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. We drank an Aperol Spritz and a glass of red wine. The bill came to €110, which was fair by any standard.

I've been to Metti's several times now; the food is outstanding, the service exceptional. Unfortunately, it's always fully booked, so you have to reserve well in advance.

A lovely osteria, delicious food, great service, and a unique wine selection – not so much the wine itself, but the way it's presented. Come and be surprised! We'll definitely be back. Reservations recommended!

A place off the beaten track, nestled among mountains and vineyards, offers breathtaking views right from the start. Found thanks to the excellent Google reviews, we relied on this superb team, who welcomed us even without a reservation and immediately pampered us. A magnificent tartare appetizer and excellent wine (they have a wide selection and a good selection), followed by two first courses: tagliatelle with veal cheek for my husband, and homemade gluten-free pasta with duck ragù for me—a rarity for someone like me who is celiac. To finish, a delicious homemade gluten-free chocolate dessert. The staff is amazing, and the menu is truly refined. Reservations are recommended, and we'll definitely be back soon.

Simply perfect!
This is our second time here, and we're already looking forward to our third visit next year 😋
The journey there is a bit tricky (depending on how your GPS guides you), but trust us, it's worth it 🤩
