20/05/2026: This hotel is absolutely amazing! In my opinion, it needs at least six stars to better reflect its superiority over other hotels. We had to wait a long time to finally book a holiday there; demand is high, and now we understand why! It couldn't be better, in our opinion. Everything about it is top-notch. The friendliness of everyone at the hotel—staff, family, and guests—is incredible; everyone seems happy and genuinely enjoying their stay. You immediately feel comfortable and well cared for. The ambiance, the decor, the food, and everything else are absolutely first-class and worth every penny. We will be back as soon as possible to experience a few days of pure bliss!
14/05/2026: This was my second visit. As expected, it was simply wonderful from beginning to end. We were particularly impressed by the warmth of the entire team. Service is truly a way of life here. Simply superb.

03/05/2026: The interior is well-maintained. The menu is a bit too touristy and lacks character; I would have preferred more traditional Ladin dishes. The burgers and pork shoulder were average, and the price was fair.

24/06/2026: We had one of the most wonderful holidays at this hotel. My highest praise goes to this amazing team. Everyone helps each other, you can feel the great atmosphere and sense of community. The food was simply divine. A big shout-out to this fantastic, unique, and varied cuisine! The terrace and garden are beautifully designed. The two pools and the spa area are perfect for relaxing in the heat. And the view shows just how beautiful this region is. Buses depart directly from the main square, so you don't really need a car to get to Merano and Bolzano, or to go on various hikes. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
29/05/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay. The hosts were very friendly, the food and staff were excellent, and the view was fantastic. The new terrace with its awning made breakfast and dinner possible. We would gladly come back.

The best food I’ve had so far in the Meran area.

27/07/2026: Real rating 4.8. One of the best and most accessible refuges in Val Badia. Located in an area accessible by cable car, it's ideal for families. It's also accessible by good trails (I use 13/7A, the one from Castalda). Excellent food: this time we had mountain pine ravioli, goulash with dumplings, and mountain pine panna cotta. Everything tasted exceptional, with generous portions. Prices are average, but they're compensated, as I said, by the portions, which are actually filling with just one course. The service is fast and there's great customer service. There are plenty of seating inside and outside, but this is one of the most popular places. A must-see if you're in the area.

17/06/2026: We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and restaurant and would love to return!
We spontaneously booked a Junior Suite for three nights with two adults and two children – and immediately felt at home. The hotel team was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel warmly welcomed at all times. Everything was handled smoothly, they offered helpful tips for our stay, and all the staff were exceptionally child-friendly.
The breakfast we booked was excellent and varied. There were many fresh, high-quality products – and again, the service was very friendly and attentive. We also dined in the restaurant twice – and we can only praise the cuisine. It was delicious and offered excellent value for money.
16/06/2026: I travel a lot for work, and this is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
The front desk is always friendly, super helpful, and even offers apples!
I don't usually write hotel reviews, but the Goldene Rose absolutely deserves it. The breakfast is fantastic, there's literally everything (the coffee maker uses whole beans and grinds freshly).
Dinner is also worthy of mention, even if it's a bit pricey.
The rooms are also very beautiful and spacious.
100% recommended.

28/07/2026: It's best to reserve a table in advance. The balcony and terrace offer particularly beautiful views. The food is delicious and serves traditional South Tyrolean specialties.
Since parking is limited, it's advisable to arrive early.

01/07/2026: Dr. Siegi's is a cool guy, he's very down-to-earth and cool. He's the boss, the son of the chef, always on the ball, uncomplicated, and always makes his jokes. We think he's super cool and laid-back. I can recommend him 100%. Top-notch! Best regards.
