13/09/2025: Exceptional risotto and ravioli with mountain pine, plus a phenomenal Caesar omelette in a traditional South Tyrolean version. The dishes are presented in a very aesthetically pleasing and appetizing manner, and the price reflects the quality. This place deserves special attention from families with children, as there are plenty of attractions nearby. It was a pleasure to eat and relax here.

29/10/2025: A wonderful place: We stopped for a (late) lunch after exploring Brixen. The food is prepared with love and is delicious – just like the drinks (the apple juice is great, the beer is excellent, and the ice cream is award-winning). There's a playground for children, and the owner delighted our kids with his magic tricks. We highly recommend Hubenbauer and had a lovely afternoon there!

21/10/2025: It's a very beautiful old building that has been newly renovated. Next door is the in-house brewery, which brews a variety of excellent beers. We went there for lunch with a group during the Törggelen (traditional German festive season). The food was good, but we had to wait a long time for both the drinks and the food, as I felt there were far too few staff for the number of guests. Furthermore, the waiters were unfriendly and very stressed. We wanted a second helping of the three-course Törggelen menu because it wasn't very extensive. We got one, but we were charged extra for the second helping when we paid.

16/10/2025: It was an absolute dream vacation for us. The hotel has a fantastic and peaceful location. The pool area, the service, and the food are almost unbeatable. We were lucky enough to experience a garden concert, and that was our highlight :) We will definitely come back.

01/10/2025: The Grüner restaurant in Karthaus is highly recommended! You immediately feel at home – a family atmosphere, a warm welcome, and superbly attentive service. The cuisine is Michelin-star quality: creative, fresh, and simply delicious. We've been there several times and will definitely be back. A true highlight of the region!

24/09/2025: On Tuesday evening, the dining room was packed, and I walked in and spontaneously ordered a takeaway pizza. The manager took care of it immediately, offered me a drink at the bar, and in 10 minutes, the whole thing was done. I take my hat off to this excellent service. The pizza was also great. Anywhere else, I probably would have been turned away.

15/09/2025: The atmosphere looked nice, so I stopped by while driving, but the staff didn't explain the complex system clearly. I was a little disappointed. First-time visitors might find it difficult to enjoy a proper meal.

02/09/2025: We were seated in a modern setting, beautifully situated right by the river. The salad buffet was generous, and the burger was so large that it was almost impossible to finish alone.

11/10/2025: Always happy to come back, always great! The portions are generous and fresh, the fries are crispy, and the meat portions are good and plentiful. We'll definitely be back. Our house cat even graced us with a visit. 😃

08/10/2025: Self-service, fast. Even though the place was busy, I didn't wait long. Maybe 15 minutes. The cooks were quick and the food was good. Above all, I found the price to be fair for what I ate. Sliced ​​steak, water, side dish, and potatoes plus water cost €23. I was surprised by the speed and quality.

17/09/2025: Due to the landlady's snippy manner, I can't recommend this restaurant. We considered getting up and leaving for a long time. There won't be a next time. The food was OK, but not outstanding. There are better restaurants nearby for the price.

13/09/2025: We visited in July for an evening without knowing the place. It's a quaint place, and they seated us behind a glass window where we could enjoy a stunning view. We tried several dishes, including the risotto with grey cheese, and I must say they were truly delicious and very carefully presented. We returned before leaving.

19/10/2025: Located in an extraordinarily beautiful, old, and picturesque castle with a magnificent view. Excellent food, highly recommended as a day trip destination. Within walking distance of St. Peter's Church and the beautiful hiking trail to Tirol Castle.

23/09/2025: We were initially very skeptical about the menu, with its prominent images of fries and burgers; this isn't really our idea of ​​a mountain hut/pasture. But then the food arrived. The spaghetti carbonara and the apple strudel with vanilla sauce that followed were amazing; it was simply so delicious! And then the bacon on the spaghetti; I've honestly never eaten such a delicious piece of bacon! Truly fantastic, I highly recommend this hut. The staff were also very friendly. A little tip for the owners: Make the menu a bit more appealing, or rather, highlight the local dishes, including on the poster at the cable car station; otherwise, it looks more like a fast-food restaurant :-)

14/10/2025: Delicious burger with a fantastic view of the Antholz Valley. Very friendly staff. Pleasant walk along the forest road. There's a shortcut, but it's a bit steep, while the "normal" route is longer but very comfortable.

14/10/2025: Excellent pullpork burger and equally good apple pie. This mountain hut is different from the others and the food is excellent. The staff is fast and friendly.
