Small but perfectly formed. Great atmosphere, delicious food. Highly recommended. You can practically look over the chef's shoulder from the street.

A very cool, beautiful restaurant with its own style. We were surprised by exceptionally good food 🥘, everything fresh and regional... fine cuisine, the presentation a feast for the eyes, and there was great wine 🍷 and beer 🍺 on tap. Christian is a cool guy and an excellent host; despite the hustle and bustle, he took time for a chat with his guests. His son is an excellent cook 💯, who spoiled our palates a few times. We say THANK YOU for the great time there. Stay the way you are, so unique and lovely. 🫶David and Tina

We managed to snag a table and were treated to a culinary delight of the highest order. We had veal stew and suckling pig and were almost bursting from the food. It was a great pleasure to dine here and we wish the owner and chef all the best.

Sigi's is a highly recommended restaurant serving local dishes. If you come to Lake Kaltern, a visit there is a must! The food will make your taste buds explode – but be careful – your eyes might want more than your stomach can handle! We'll definitely be back!

Today I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. A cozy restaurant located just outside Caldaro, with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere from the moment you enter. The menu offers a variety of traditional dishes, and the chef deserves a top rating. The service was impeccable: the staff was attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. Christian was the real asset. The prices are absolutely reasonable considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend Siegi's to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. I can't wait to return to try more dishes from their delicious menu!

08/02/2026: Alm, an hour's walk from Truden. It looks newly built. Very nice. Prices are a bit high compared to the surrounding area.
03/01/2026: 5 Stars - An Unforgettable New Year's Eve at the Schmiederalm! Dear Schmiederalm Family, we would like to thank you for the unforgettable stay! Our 5 nights in room number 1 were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the bed and balcony was simply breathtaking! The mountains at sunset – magical! Breakfast was a highlight every morning. A generous platter of cold cuts and cheeses on every table, a large bread basket, and fresh eggs made to order. Dinner in the traditional dining room was superb and cozy. The Strauben (a type of Austrian fried pastry) was another highlight! But the best thing was the incredibly friendly hosts! Even Grandpa helped out. And of course, we mustn't forget the super cuddly cat! The Schmiederalm's location is perfect for hikers and skiers. We were in fantastic ski resorts within half an hour and were also able to enjoy wonderful hikes. We highly recommend the Schmiederalm and will definitely come back again in the summer! 08/06/2026: We stayed at this very well-located campsite. Everything was spotlessly clean and constantly being cleaned. The service was outstanding. We rarely stay at such good campsites. We'll be back.
08/06/2026: Even before our arrival, we had exceptionally friendly and helpful contact with the staff. Due to the anticipated traffic problems caused by the Brenner Pass closure, they did everything they could to allow us to access our pitch a day early. This allowed us to completely avoid the expected chaos – thank you again for that! Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed. The entire campsite is extremely well-maintained and clean – from the spacious pitches and sanitary facilities to the indoor pool. Everything gives a very high-quality and lovingly cared-for impression. We were particularly surprised by the excellent service: We were greeted with the daily morning paper on our first trip to get bread rolls. These little touches make all the difference and show how much heart and soul goes into running this campsite. Short distances, outstanding service, and many thoughtful details ensure that you feel comfortable from the very first moment. We're certain: We'll be back! In fact, we've already booked our next stay.
